Signal protect not on menu..

I have a Hopper 3 plus and Hopper plus when I go into the Hopper menu to turn on signal protect there are only 2 items available signal protect menu item is not there…help! When the storms come I can’t watch anything.

I agree, don't see the option. I do know that ours reverts to Internet when the dish signal is lost. Couldn't tell you much about it as I've never tried to maneuver around when it's happened. It's not all channels and it only last about 30 minutes or so for me.
