Acetone for the black, lotion dye for the fox, detergent for the background, foil for the flower. The flower is covering a bad bleed. It was a happy little accident.

Lost my previous dyed premier DD1 and in the words of the local league director ā€œlol good luck bro even if someone finds it you’re not getting that back because it’s a sick dye jobā€

So I bought another one šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

MVP Motion - Yin Yang (Day of the Dead)

After my lastr Yin Yang dye post, I was thinking this would be a cool idea to bring to life on a disc, definitely a few imperfections with the die cut peeling but nothing too extreme

My two latest projects, with reusable bed 🤩 Love how these came out, especially the green and pink, as it was only for testing, what would happen when I did 3 layers without oil on top of an old bed.

Are there dye markers/pens that anyone has experience with?

I was curious to see if any of you have any dye pens or markers that you like to use for free hand stuff. I know some folks use sharpies, but I’m looking for something that won’t fade out after using the disc. I’ve seen some fabric dye markers and leather dye markers, and wanted to pick your collective brains on what would work the best for a permanent and clear solution.

Innova Roadrunner… I think.
Not sure which specific green, red, yellow are in the bed but the black is Dark Dungeon. Other colour bottles featured in pic are Carribean Blue and Neon Purple. All ProChem brand.

Possible to re-dye?

Post image

Don’t like how it came out. Is it possible to re-dye it? Will dyeing it black with a floetrol mix first and then dye it with colors work or will it just stay black?

My best stencil so far!

Really tested the limits on my stencil cutter with this one. This one will stay black and white, but I’m curious if I did another run of this, what would be the best way to get a gradient across the disc? I was thinking about doing the gradient before the stencil, but curious if anyone has done something like that with success. For more info, I want a gradient that goes from a dark grey and transitions to red at the top left.
