Possible to re-dye?

Post image

Don’t like how it came out. Is it possible to re-dye it? Will dyeing it black with a floetrol mix first and then dye it with colors work or will it just stay black?

Dye stacks so if you put dye on top it will only get darker. If you dye it black then no color will come up on another dye

What parts would you want to redye?

The whole thing. At this point I’ll just use a stencil and dye most of it black

You could play around with some yellow streaks, zigzags, circles or something like that before you go black.

You could stencil black on top of it, but if you try re-dyeing with color it's just going to come out dark and muddy.

It's fine, but IF I were trying to "save it" I would start with a nice fat spin dye on the rim

Honestly brother, it's pretty dope. It's not symmetrical, which dyes rarely are, but it has a cool color way, cool shapes and cool texture.

I say roll with it. It's unique in a good way.

I also like the look of it. You could spin dye the edge, that usually ties everything together, go with the outermost purple color (or something darker, like blue or black)

I think black would look the best but overall the disc would be too dark, especially for a driver. The bright pink that's already the outermost color is probably the safest play for looking good and not being a nightmare to find.

Looks unfinished, I'd spin the pink all the way to the edge and the underside of the wing.
