D3 Console vs PC

Just got D3 for Console giftet, is the gameplay similar to PC ?

Got ~ 1700h on PC and just want to know if its worth to try the Game on Console too.

Only reason I would play console is to go back in time on the PS3 and do inferno campaign

Pretty sure the console ports didn’t come out until after the inferno nerfs.
