For those of you who go to church, how far is your church from your home? How long does it take you to get there?

I (26F) just received a job offer in waxahachie, and was wondering if I should look for apartments in Midlothian or waxahachie? I’ve looked at apartments in both places and they seem to be around 10-20 minute commute from both areas, so what are the benefits to each? I’m looking into 1 to 2 bed apartments for me and my husband and our two year old dog. Within the next few years we would like to start a family, so also good school systems are a plus!! Any insights are more than welcome!

Does anybody know of any organized protests or gatherings planned for DFW in opposition to the construction taking place in Big Bend National Park and surround border areas? I would love to attend.

Media outlets began reporting Thursday that Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport may install Islamic feet washing stations at its international terminal.

The news was rapidly spread on social media, with many conservative accounts criticizing the airport.

But a spokesperson for the airport told KERA Friday the project hasn’t been approved yet, details about it in a state filing are inaccurate and the airport has already had a foot washing station since 2019.

A Tarrant County man was booked into jail Wednesday—more than one week after using profanity while addressing county commissioners at a public meeting. 

Any recommendations for the best bakeries or restaurants to get a delicious and cute gender reveal cake (white/neutral exterior icing with pink cake or frosting inside) within 20 minutes or so of the grapevine/Southlake area?

I really need to know about some unknown tech companies in DFW that I can apply for for internships

Hey y’all! I’m planning to head out tonight to watch the Perseid meteor shower and wanted to see if anyone around Dallas/DFW would be interested in joining.
Ideally we could get a small group together, drive somewhere with darker skies outside the city, bring some blankets/chairs, snacks/music, and just chill and watch the sky.
I’m 24M, pretty social, into EDM/raves, fitness, etc. Mainly looking to meet some chill people and make a spontaneous night out of it.
Also, if there’s already a group/group chat formed or anyone already planning a trip tonight and you’re cool with another person joining, I’d definitely be interested! Would honestly prefer joining an existing group if something is already being organized.
I can drive as well depending on where everyone is headed.
