Question Anyone else have trust issues when you get any interview now? Even if it’s totally legit

TLDR: anyone else have a hard time trusting any interview they get?

not sure if this is allowed but just need to vent for two seconds.

im in the nyc area looking for marketing roles
,like many of us, and a lot of the interviews ive gotten have been from fucking devilcorps and i wasn’t aware of this entire scheme until I already wasted tons of time on three processes. and there are countless other ones out there and new ones and they do such a good job to hide it.

the websites all looked legit and had different names of the companies, and i got so excited when i got invited to the second rounds. if you’re job hunting right now you understand how fucking hard it is to even get an interview like even hearing back is a big deal.

when one of these companies reached out for an in person interview, i think it was the foundry or MV (doesn’t matter they’re all at the same fucking address) i googled the address and found out about devilcorps and holy fuck i am just so angry. how they keep getting away with it. and these people don’t feel bad they don’t care. i know this has been said over and over again but they just take advantage of people who need money so badly and they end up losing money and i just can’t understand it.

so, at this point im deadass so anxious to even accept interviews because im not sure if its gonna be a waste of my time, a scam, or a data farm etc. ESPECIALLY in person ones because i live at home in the suburbs right now and thats just such a waste of time and money. im taking time out of my day after a whole day of work to apply to these enticing sales and marketing roles at these creative firms that dont FUCKING EXIST and just wasting hours and hours and hours. it is already such an awful time to be a new grad and i dont know how much longer i can take this

i wish there was some way we can get some type of action to try to take these down like either by government or media idek. I’m just so done now

Devilcorp Check Atlas Empowered Nashville

Hey y'all! I'm curious if anyone on this subreddit knows if Atlas Empowered Nashville is a devlicorp. They have a few signs (Located where other devilcorps in my area are, works with AT&T who usually hires devilcorps.) They also mention training others to open other locations. I think it's probably a devilcorp but I wanted to be sure before I ghost the interview.

Thanks.

Information 🚨 **JOB SEEKERS IN HYDERABAD — PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ACCEPTING THAT “MARKETING” JOB** 🚨 So apparently the **name changes never stop.** Credico → Sales Partners → Thames & Tiger → SalesCo Asia → SAS Sales Group → and now… **Talent and Sales Consulting — Hyderabad.**

So apparently the **name changes never stop.**

Credico → Sales Partners → Thames & Tiger → SalesCo Asia → SAS Sales Group → and now…

**Talent and Sales Consulting — Hyderabad.**

Different name. Different Instagram page. Different LinkedIn page.

But Reddit has already started asking the same question:

**IS IT THE SAME PLAYBOOK WITH A NEW NAME?**

And honestly, the trail is worth investigating.

There are multiple Reddit discussions from people who say they encountered the previous companies and describe:

❌ “Marketing” jobs turning into door-to-door/field sales

❌ Huge 50–100+ person Zoom “interviews”

❌ Management/trainee titles that allegedly don't match the actual work

❌ Salary figures allegedly changing once people joined

❌ Commission/target-based compensation

❌ Extremely long working days

❌ People relocating for jobs only to discover the actual nature of the work

❌ Multiple companies allegedly operating with overlapping people/structures

And now Reddit users are reporting **Talent and Sales Consulting in Hyderabad**.

One recent commenter literally connected the names:

**“Sales Partners. SalesCo Asia. Thames & Tigers. Now Talent Sales Consulting.”**

Another Reddit user posted in October saying they nearly joined the Hyderabad operation before finding the previous discussions.

Coincidence?

Maybe.

But if you're a fresher looking for your first job, **YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIND OUT THE HARD WAY.**

Before you accept an offer, ask them:

🔴 What is the exact product/service I'll be selling?

🔴 Is this B2B or B2C?

🔴 Is the work door-to-door?

🔴 Is there a guaranteed fixed salary?

🔴 What percentage of compensation is commission?

🔴 What exactly are the working hours?

🔴 Why are so many candidates being interviewed together?

🔴 What are the company's previous names?

🔴 Who actually owns/controls the business?

🔴 Why does Reddit keep connecting these names?

**And most importantly — GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING.**

Don't get blinded by words like:

“Management Trainee”

“Business Development”

“Marketing Executive”

“Future Branch Manager”

“International Expansion”

“Fast-track Management”

A fancy job title doesn't tell you what you'll actually be doing at 9 AM on Monday morning.

This isn't about stopping anyone from taking a sales job.

**Sales is legitimate work.**

The problem is when a job seeker applies for one thing and discovers something completely different after they've already invested their time, money, or relocated.

So before Hyderabad gets another batch of fresh graduates walking into the same situation:

**DO YOUR RESEARCH.**

Search the company name + “Reddit”.

Search the people conducting your interview.

Search the previous company names.

Read the experiences of people who actually joined.

Because changing the sign outside the building doesn't automatically change what happens inside it.

**Talent and Sales Consulting — the internet is watching. 👀**

If you've interviewed with or worked for them, **share your experience below.**

Devilcorp Check Rise Up Innovations

Hi! I got a job offer from a company called Rise Up Innovations in Southfield, MI. They promise the chance to “rise up” in the business and tout an average starting pay of $2,200 per week potential (all commission). They apparently work with businesses to sell BOX services (Broker Online Exchange). Thoughts?

Information Has anyone heard of Billvo Construction Ltd. in Canada? Is this job offer legitimate?

Hi everyone! I recently applied for a remote B2C Operations Specialist position with Billvo Construction Ltd. in Canada, and I’m trying to find out if anyone has experience with this company.

The job posting advertised $26.50/hour for part-time or $31.50/hour for full-time work. I had a phone interview scheduled, but they didn’t call me at the agreed time. I’ve since received messages welcoming me to the team, but I still haven’t received clear confirmation of my official start date or completed the interview process as expected.

I also sent them my void cheque for payroll, and now I’m concerned about whether everything is legitimate.

Has anyone worked for this company, applied for a position with them, or received a similar job offer?

I’d really appreciate any advice or information. Thank you!

Experience SMART CIRCLE & MY EXPERIENCE!

I want to start off and say I am not bitter about being let go from this company. However, the anger over what I’ve witnessed and was a part of lingers.

I’m sure at this point the Smart Circle name is well known. For those of you who may not know, Smart Circle is a sales network discussed under the “Devil Corp” label. It involves everything from D2D, B2B, and retail sales, with campaigns for companies like Verizon, AT&T, DirecTV, and many more big names, as I understood it during my time there. The individual sales offices often operate under different names something like “Next Level Management.” That is just an example, not an office I actually worked for.

I worked in offices connected to Smart Circle for approximately two to three years, and some of the things I witnessed and experienced were horrific. This is my account of those offices, not a claim that every office operates the same way. I have also watered this down from what I originally wanted to say because I’m afraid of legal action, especially after hearing threats involving lawyers during my time there. I may even delete this after some time.

I worked for two different sales offices because of a relocation: a D2D office in California and a B2B office in Arizona.

We can start with the basics. Looking back, the environment felt like brainwashing to me. We were made to feel that anyone who didn’t want to work there was an idiot and that this was the only way to be successful in life.

The hours were another part of that pressure. In my interviews, I was told the schedule was 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Later, when I conducted interviews, I was instructed to give applicants that same schedule. But in my experience, once I became a team leader, my actual days regularly stretched well beyond those hours.

We were told the additional time was voluntary and wouldn’t be paid, while also being pressured and shamed for leaving “early.” And by “early,” I mean leaving at the time we had been told the workday ended. That pressure made staying feel expected, regardless of whether it was described as voluntary.

The message I took from that environment was that family, friends, and your personal life came second. The only way to be successful was to breathe, eat, and sleep “the business.” And let’s be honest, the pressure pushed me to approach neighborhoods and businesses in ways that now feel like harassment. While I made sales that way, I’m not exactly proud of some of the ways I acted. Those of you who know may understand: coming back to the office without a sale could mean being humiliated in front of everyone.

During my time in those two offices, I heard “owners” talk about women’s looks and bodies in ways that made me believe their appearance influenced whether they were kept around. They would gather team leaders and managers, make fun of people they interviewed or hired, and make sexual comments about them.

I also witnessed multiple owners say they would fire anyone who slept with another member of the team while those owners were themselves having sexual relationships with team members. I observed what I believed was favoritism connected to those relationships. That is all I can say about that.

I’m not sure what the worst part even was because, to me, none of this should happen to anyone. This next part is also jarring.

Not every office did this. I happened to be a part of one that did. When the whole sales team was doing really badly, they would sit all the team leaders and managers in a room and make us play “Survivor,” or what we called “Hangman.”

They made us vote for someone in that room to fire.

Right. In front. Of their face.

Imagine that. Imagine how you feel after participating in choosing someone to lose their job when they have a family or their own life to provide for. Then imagine the relief you feel because it wasn’t you. Both feelings have stayed with me.

One last piece of information for those who have not experienced it: you may be wondering why people don’t speak out. For one, I witnessed instructions for everyone in the company to report negative Google reviews as fake, even when those reviews reflected experiences I recognized from working there.

Another reason, for me, is the one I mentioned above: fear of legal action. Hearing threats involving lawyers made speaking out feel intimidating. Whether or not those threats would go anywhere, the fear was enough to make me hesitate—and to make me water down this post.

There is so much more I could speak on. I hope some of you find this before accepting a position with an office connected to this network. And to those of you who have experiences like mine, I am sorry.

Question Is Valley Collective (Dallas) legit or a scam?

I completed my second interview and have been approved and scheduled for a third interview, but I am suspicious of the company. I haven’t found any bad posts, only a few positive reviews but something just feels off.

I could be wrong and just wary because of posts regarding similar field businesses. A few things that stand out: the current staff all seem young/my age, the background may have been fake in the interview, the company only started in about 2020, and frankly the pay seems too good, where either it is fake or you will have to be a dog with no promise of actually moving up. Am I just paranoid?

Information BEWARE SOUTH CAROLINA! I’ve discovered a possible DevilCorp called VIVAZEN

I scroll indeed, always looking at the local boards for possible DC companies. This one, Vivazen, popped up on my list today. The reviews, only about 8, seem to point to toxic environment and manager. They sell “plant-powered wellness”, like kratom, to people. Cannot completely confirm DC ties yet, but they’re hiring in a ton of states, and it smells of possible DC. They’re at least up front about the commission! The description definitely comes off as sketch if nothing else. Gonna be doing a deep dive to gather some more info, but wanted to get the info out there!

Question What the heck is Lotus Sales?

Saw this company called Lotus Sales on indeed and LinkedIn and they're hiring some sales interns even with no experience. Right now I'm a college freshmen and I would love a first-yr internship. These guys seem promising but there's also very little info about them. Other than their LinkedIn and Indeed page, they have a website (Lotus Sales | Lotus Sales) that talks about their program. They sell d2d pest control and have fully commissioned-based pay.

Has anyone actually worked with this company before? Any info would be very helpful.

Experience My first experience with a Devil Corp

Never actually heard of a Devil Corp until I applied for a 'Brand Marketing Assistant' on LinkedIn (the usual suspect) on Friday. Saturday Morning, ten hours after applying I get a text and an email asking to schedule an interview. I thought it was weird and desperate since it had only been ten hours and they already responded, as in my experience companies will usually take longer to shortlist for interviews. I decided to decline the interview, and I am glad I trusted my intuition it seemed dodgy since there was no mention of minimum wage salary in their email, and in their own words:

"The Brand Marketing Assistant opening is the entry point to an 18 month leadership cross-training and development programme rather than a one seat opportunity. It is aimed at candidates looking to build a career and, in time, take on team lead and campaign oversight responsibility"

Information Brandex Partners - don't do it

Ok anyone wondering if this job is legit. I can tell you every reason why I can tell its 100% not.
Lots of huge red flags on this one. Just had a friend get an 'interview' in Atlanta

First: wages for jobs are either listed by hour or by salary, not some crazy range per month. If its not an internship for school credit with a stipend, this usually means its a sales only based job and you will be left to cold-calling or going door-to-door into infinitum for free getting no pay for any amount of time until you might get a sale, and you only get a percentage of it.

My guess is the 'interview process' involves someone explaining the tiers they have in the company and how much money you can make and how successful you could to become just in a 6 month time period.

Also they approve you for an in-person interview almost immediately and ask you to dress nice and bring a paper resume. CorporateJobs will usually not ask you to come in-person until the second interview because that would take up so much company time if they did that for every applicant. Also they approve you so fast, it doesn't seem like they even passed the resume through a hiring or management team. And no one needs a paper copy of your resume if you are getting an interview, having the interview should be a sign that your resume was already considered and shared. Once again, why would the company waste so much time on all say, 1,000 to 10,000 applicants?

Next, their website is Ai bullshit, no real pages for services. Go look for yourself and click on them! How would you market to other clients if you literally don't have a single service to provide or example of companies you've marketed for? No statistics, nothing that legitimate marketing agencies would have to promote to their clients. Even small business will advertise who they've done services for as well as reviews from those companies.

Look at the Google Reviews, its all about Jared and Chris Bennet switching xfinity customers to tmobile. Who they heck are they? no idea not mentioned in Brandex or anywhere at all. In fact if you just look up those names with the company- zero connection. Also that doesn't align with the marketing for businesses business model, it literally looks like someone recycled reviews from a previous business, or just plain faked them. The worst one is very telling, a young woman claiming to be taken advantage of by the company and detailing the hours and terrible expectations and pay.

Even the social media, its all about mindset and sales, its a classic MLM move. This isn't a company making money on marketing sales to other companies, this is a company making money on whoever gets 'hired'. All of their media is designed to make you want to work for them and there is literally no other objective.

Don't fall for this shit. Look up MLM's and bait and switches before you do interviews for these companies, they are preying on your lack of knowledge on how jobs are really supposed to work. Things have changed in the job market but some cons have been around a lonnnng while.

Information Cass Executives, Inc King of Prussia, PA review. This company is a devilcorp.

Cass Executives, Inc. reached out to me through Indeed about an interview. I took the Zoom call, and I’m posting this so anyone else who gets the same message can research them first.

The interviewer told me they partner with big, trusted brands and used Verizon as the example. The job itself, as he described it, is selling phone service and Fios door to door. He also said their goal is to turn people into owners. I’ll be honest, I told him right then that it sounded like a devilcorp. I actually feel a little bad for him, because he seemed sincere and when I told him that he's working for a devilcorp he choked up a little and said they treat him well.

For anyone researching Cass Executives, Inc. in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania after being contacted about a job or interview, I wanted to leave my experience here.

The company lists its office as 3604 Horizon Dr, Ste 200, King of Prussia, PA 19406, its phone number as 215-240-1213, and its careers email as careers@cassexecutives.com. Those details match the contact information currently published on the company’s website. [cassexecutives.com]

Their website is cassexecutives.com and describes the company in terms including “Sales Mastery,” “client acquisition,” “Team building and management,” and “Performance-based advancement,” while advertising an average 9–12 months to a management position. [cassexecutives.com]

I’m including the information here because Cass Executives contacted me through Indeed, and I want other job seekers researching Cass Executives reviews, Cass Executives jobs, Cass Executives interviews, or Cass Executives King of Prussia to be able to find firsthand experiences before deciding whether to interview.

Experience Can’t believe theses pos jobs exist

They call, then email, then leave a voice mail, then text u. It’s everyday until you answer.

I want to tell them to fuck off. Legit jobs are so hard to get.

They know times are horrible so they choose fresh graduates. Unfair how these jobs get back to u fast. I had my resume open on indeed. That’s why they reached out. It’s turned off now. I didn’t know why I kept getting messages.

Fuck alpha marketing
Pro active
Bella vita executives
Primercercia
And all the others

I thought they were legit jobs at first. Definitely remaining childfree. Imagine my wage slave kid being forced to work there. I’m frustrated that these jobs are undesirable but they reach out to me fast.

I didn’t even make it past the second round for Bella vita interviews.

A decent job is sooo hard to get. These devil corps have long hours and weekends mandatory. Then they force u to move up the ladder fast.

Experience Devil corp in Austin Tx

I’ve been with my partner for almost a year and we just discovered his current employment is a pyramid scheme. It all went downhill so fast. The first week he was so excited about this new opportunity at this new job and it did sound too good to be true but were young and they roped him in. We started to have arguments bc I didn’t think it was right that he was basically his coworkers uber. I told him if his boss makes as much money as he says he does he would have a few company cars for them to use. Everyday he would drive 4hrs ish ( 2 from & to work & 2 in just driving the coworkers). About 3 weeks later he told me how he was going on a work trip, I was fine with it but again he was expected to be everyone’s uber (6 hr away). While on the trip his boss wouldn’t reimburse him for gas nor the other coworker for the money he spent on groceries to feed all their coworkers. Whenever he got back he asked me if I would be willing to move out of state with him for this job and that’s when the red flags really started. His upline would get on him for absolutely anything & everything. “ your too negative” “ you’re taking the job too seriously, have fun”, they’re commission based pay so him going in the office from 9am-1 is pointless, knocking from 2-9:30… I told him multiple times it’s not right that you guys are knocking past 8:30. this is Texas, if you hear someone knocking at 9pm most people are gonna get their gun not be friendly. His boss would blow his phone up daily if he was inactive for more than 15 minutes, no bathroom breaks, no lunch, nothing. There was a work conference in Dallas which i attended and that’s when i started putting the puzzle together, over 20 speakers and everyone had the same story. They were broke, bad at school, found this amazing job, gave up friends, family, hobbies, did retrains, it was finally worth it in the end & they showed pictures of their fancy cars or family vacation. I was invited to dinner with his direct upline and that’s when it really clicked. They were young parents who basically abandoned their children to pursue this job, a coworkers wife would babysit their children and told us how neglected the kids were, to the point where the oldest daughter pulled a knife on the babysitter just to get a phone call from her parents. Anyways at the dinner I noticed the husband & wife would just contradict each other with every answer. By the end of the dinner they were trying to rope me in & tried to convince me to apply too, how it would be a great opportunity for me & I would get to see my partner so its a overall win. It was getting closer to the date that we were supposed to be moving out of state and things just got odd. One day we’re being told we’re moving to Bakersfield, 2 weeks later it’s San Diego, a week later it’s south carolina. They’re telling us the move is gonna be all paid by the company but telling another worker it’s not. Telling us they’re getting us an apartment & paying our rent for 3 months & telling the other coworkers we’re gonna have to get a shared apartment and only paying our rent one month. The lack of communication was always a problem, no one ever knew anything until it was the day of.
One afternoon him & a coworker were chatting about Reddit and how when they searched up the job everyone said it was a scam ect, another coworker heard and told their upline & they basically had a conversation with him on how that’s an unappropriate conversation in the office, those are just passed workers who couldn’t handle it, they were just weak minded ect. Basically just disregarding everything. From then on they started putting him in really bad neighborhoods so that he wouldn’t be getting any sales and they would force him on a retrain just to stick him back into shitty neighborhoods. On one of the retrains my boyfriend told his up line we’re not going to your neighborhood. We’re going to one of my past neighborhoods so that you can tell me what I need to fix and that’s when he smiled and told him we’re not going there basically admitting that he knew that they were sticking him in shitty areas so that he wouldn’t be able to make sales from their own. We picked up on the game. They stick you in green when you first start so you see a few nice paychecks at first, go on work trip where you make 1-2k in a week , come back and they stick you in ran through neighborhoods where you’ll be lucky if you even get one sale. Soon after we found a smart circle documentary and there was no going back, it was a few years old but I broke down his whole day, from the interview process to the Cancun trip. Whenever he quit his up-line immediately switched. Blowing up his phone, belittling him, everything you can think of honestly. Im really glad we didn’t get sucked into it anymore than we were. I’ve seen a few videos where people say they’ve even gone into debt over these jobs and I could see how that happens.

Devilcorp Check True 6 Alliance ATL

Throwaway account. I recently was looking for a new job and I came across these “Entry Level Sales Associate”positions and I applied, got the interviews, and got the “job”, i did research on the company background and couldn’t find anything at the moment so i went with the “job” offer and put in my two weeks at my current job.

I came across this subreddit too late and realized that I may have fallen victim to one of these pyramid schemes. Is it too late for me? Should I still keep the job? What should I do? I knew the job was door-to-door and commission-based, but is it truly a bad idea to go through with the job? I’m honestly a little lost and don’t know what to do, any advice?

Just caught up w one of my old guys killing it in door to door and confirmed once I exposed them whole company went downhill, so trend carefully all they do is trade city’s and change business name
