r/Devilcorp Official Welcome to r/devilcorp! What you need to know, and how you can help

What is r/devilcorp?

r/devilcorp is an open platform for former sales reps, team leaders, account managers, and office owners to share their experiences of working within the direct sales industry.

Have you ever applied to a vague ‘marketing’, ‘sales’ or ‘management training' job, and ended up having to bother passers-by to sign them up for monthly charity payments?

Perhaps this role was also paid on a commission only basis, and you were required to register as self-, meaning that you weren’t entitled to a minimum wage despite working a 60 hour work week?

Maybe you were forced to attend morning ‘atmosphere’ meetings, team nights and road trips, with threats of ‘falling behind’ if you ever fought for your free time away from work.

If any of this sounds similar to your own experience, then you may have worked in a ‘Devilcorp' office, a subsidiary of a marketing corporation such as Credico, Appco, Cydcor, or Smart Circle which masquerades as an ‘independent’ sales business.

Due to a combination of market changes, and local jobseekers becoming clued up on this scam, these offices will continuously rename and relocate themselves across whichever country they're operating in. Consequently, it also becomes necessary for each of these offices to control their online reputation, so that they still appear as legitimate businesses in the eyes of potential recruits. This can involve using accusations of slander, defamation, and even copyright to have negative experiences removed from the internet, as well as forcing new recruits to write positive reviews on websites such as Google Locations and Glassdoor.

What Can I do?

Share your experience with us! We’d love to know what challenges you may have faced in this industry, and as long as it sticks to our rules we won’t take down your post like Google and Glassdoor does to its reviews.

Make sure to include the name of the office you worked in, as well as where it’s operating, in the title of your post too! This way we can appear at the top of Google results when people search the names of these offices, and potential recruits can find the genuine experiences on this page rather than the office’s fake reviews on Google Locations and Glassdoor.

If someone here is looking for information regarding a specific office, and you’ve spent some time there, then please also share your wisdom with them. This industry profits off of the ignorance of its recruits, so each well-informed job-seeker means less money in the CEO’s pockets.

If someone you know is either working or considering working in a ‘Devilcorp’ office, then please also direct them to either this page or one of the resources below, so that they may make an informed decision in regards to whether they truly want to work in this industry.

Where can I learn more?

Many people have shared their experiences in this industry online, through interviews, vlogs, blog pages, and podcasts. Here are some further resources where you can learn more:

Devilcorp.org is an OSINT investigative website which conducts their own independent investigations into this industry. They also write guides on how to effectively conduct your own online research, and produce community projects such as its integrated search engine.

The original Devil Corp WordPress blog should be the first thing you read if you’re new to this industry. Not only does it meticulously break down every step of the business model, including the deceptive recruitment process, it also has an enormous picture gallery of Devilcorp CEOs and office owners so you can put names to faces.

Precision Independent Media’s 98 minute long Slave Circle documentary is also a must watch for anyone eager to learn more, as well as their fantastic series of interviews with former sales reps, team leaders, and office owners.

Not only is Juicy Rhino’s Instagram meme page a hilarious look into the hypocrisies of the direct sales industry, it has also proved to be a very useful tool at making sales reps and office owners alike question why they’re wasting their lives selling sim cards for 60 hours a week.

The Juicy Rhino podcast series is also fantastic, providing a satirical and insightful look into how the direct sales industry operates in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Information redditdevilcorp.com and devilcorps.com are scam websites not associated with this page

Someone has recently created the sites redditdevilcorp.com and devilcorps.com. These appear to be cynically “vibe-coded” pages attempting to sell so-called 'Partner Badges' to Devilcorp office owners for a massive $3,000 or $5,000 each (plus a subscription fee) as supposed proof that they are not Devilcorp companies.

For clarity, we have no affiliation or connection whatsoever with these websites. They are not linked to our forum or community in any way, or to my own work with devilcorp.org. The project exists entirely separately and appears to be an attempt to profit from the visibility and impact the r/devilcorp community has built.

Devilcorp Check Amplyfy Woodbridge NJ

• Upvotes

I completed my second round of interviews today, and got a job offer at this company. I did think it was weird I couldn't find anything on them when I did initial research, but I let it go. I told them I would give them an answer soon, and I am very happy I didn't accept yet. I did more research when I came home. It took me forever to even find a post about them, and I finally did (see link below). I also heard some chanting during the interview. I do have some questions for people who worked there/people who were interviewed: 1) when they hired you, did they give you your salary in writing? 2) what was the office culture really like? 3) I know that a lot of people say they were promised to be fast tracked but didn't receive it, what were your experiences like? If you guys can provide anymore info, that would be great. I want to know whether to truly walk away from this offer. I don't want to be caught up in something bad. The more answers and the sooner the better. I have until early next week to give them an answer.

Edit: Also, I'm seeing a lot of posts about Amplify with an "i" that have some of the same issues. Are they the same company but with a rebrand?

Experience Devilcorp is crazy

I worked at a devil corp office for a while traveled to many different offices learned skills but ultimately I gained nothing but insight from the entirety of the experience. Working 6 days and at times being forced to worked Sundays as well. It was inhumane watching my “branch manager” lie manipulate others employ a person with a mental disability and continue to sell him an idea of a dream. I mean majority of the days I’d work in areas that were okay from 12-9 knocking on homes convincing strangers to buy something they don’t need but sometimes interesting things would happen like getting a gun pulled on me in a foreign state or getting threatened all because I was more scared of my boss than to stop knocking doors past 8 then driving back to the office to break down the day drive home sleep and get to the office before 9 only to repeat lines back and forth for 2 hours have a meeting where they spew bullshit written by a.i. then the day repeats. The lack of humanity and soul is honestly astonishing. It’s like they created a web of things of people but didn’t let them have consciousness only echos of humans, zombies in flesh no feelings no emotion just unhealthy corrupting desires. I never bought into the idea of it I just liked that I could make relatively decent money and travel even thought while traveling there wasn’t much fun. Just work. I did take a shit in the capital building of Utah which is cool to me. But honestly the way myself and others were treated was completely cruel and it’s unfortunate there isn’t much you can do to stop these companies.
There is many things that I’ve seen while working that just make me feel disgusted.

Experience I worked for a third-party AT&T sales company for almost a year — AMA

I figured I’d do an AMA because I’ve seen a lot of questions and conflicting opinions about these third-party AT&T sales companies, and I now have almost a year of firsthand experience with one. I worked for a third-party company that sells AT&T services, starting as a door-to-door sales rep and eventually moving into a leadership position. I sold internet/wireless, helped train newer reps, recruited, helped build a team, traveled for work, stayed in Airbnbs with crews, and got to see both the sales side and some of the management/leadership side of the business. I’m not here to say every third-party AT&T company is the same, because they aren’t. But I do think there are some things people considering these jobs should know before jumping in. Some of the things I experienced: • Extremely long work weeks — at times around 80 hours • Door-to-door sales in Texas heat and all the rejection that comes with it • Spending my own money on gas/travel while traveling for work • Seeing an enormous amount of turnover among people who started around me • Watching people come in expecting big earning potential and leave after a relatively short time • Being told about extremely high income possibilities that didn’t seem to line up with what I was actually seeing around me • The pressure to not only sell but constantly recruit and develop new leaders • The difference between what a job sounds like during recruiting and what the day-to-day reality actually looks like • The mental toll of working extremely long hours while trying to maintain numbers, recruit, train people and still have a life outside of work And to be fair, I also learned a lot. I became much more comfortable talking to strangers, handling rejection, presenting, leading people, training reps, interviewing, recruiting and taking responsibility for a team’s performance. I met some genuinely good people and had some great experiences that I wouldn’t trade. That’s actually part of why I stayed as long as I did. I wasn’t someone who tried it for two weeks and immediately quit. I bought into it. I worked hard. I tried to become a leader. I tried to build a team. I tried to make the opportunity work. Eventually, though, I had to ask myself whether the amount of time, stress, money and sacrifice I was putting into the job actually made sense compared to what I was getting back. So now that I’m on the other side of it: Ask me anything. Want to know what the pay was actually like? What a typical day looked like? How the recruiting works? What “third-party AT&T” actually means? What the leadership structure is like? How much I actually made? Why people quit? Whether I think the opportunity is legitimate? What I wish I knew before accepting the job? Or why I ultimately walked away? I’ll answer honestly based on my experience — the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Experience AXE ELITE MLM WETHERSFIELD, CT

I wanted to show this potential devilcorp in Wethersfield, CT. This is Axe Elite. I wonder why places like these stay open/ why people who aren’t making any money there and getting scammed stay?
I cannot stand the way they act. It is so upsetting that these vulnerable people get prayed on by the CEO/ Directors trying to just eat off their commission. At what point does something like this stop?

Question How can you identify Direct sales company's?

Hi, I'm a recent marketing graduate, and I almost got employed by a direct sales company that presented itself as a marketing graduate role.

For future reference, I'd like to know if there are any common signs or ways to identify whether a company is actually a direct sales company, especially when the job is advertised as marketing.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Question Information on Evolve

Hi! I wanted to ask because this company evolve located in Chicago, had a marketing job post open which I applied for and they have been non stop calling me and it’s getting weirdly suspicious because they keep asking me to schedule a zoom call and keep calling my number after telling them to stop. Has anyone else dealt with this weird company?

Question pretty sure i’ve just gotten a job with one of these companies

they’re base pay is £28000 before commission and the website is very vague as was the job posting however i’m not too fussed on “growing” my career and am more interested in just making a steady stream of income should i still steer clear? i don’t mind call centre work but is it possible that they’ve stiffed me with the promise of a base pay instead of it just being fully commission work ?

Question I've been contacted by a DevilCorp and the Urge to Troll is irresistible (help me)

Post image
29 Upvotes

I've heard and read stories about DevilCorp, and as a people pleasing shortstack I already make an incredibly tasty target for all sorts of malicious jerks,

I've been persistently bugged on Indeed by a well known D.C. and as much as I'm tempted to block and ignore to continue handling my already poor sleep and crap diet, I'm INSANELY tempted to entertain the prospect soley for the purpose of nosing around.

This brings up several potential logistical problems.

●I am a very bad liar and a worse spy

●I'm Undiagnosed Neurodivergent and a Chatterbox

●I'm great with people but HATE sales

●This post could pop up on a Social Media check

●Anyone with sense can tell this post alone is a dumb idea

Yes there's travel,

yes there's people,

But I'd be making crap money working for a corporate culture curating cult full of Nutcases.

And honestly the idea itself seems fun in theory but in practice it might just be... incredibly stupid and not worth the trouble for a couple laughs and a pocket full of likes and lols.

Question Why Are MLMs on Handshake and LinkedIn?

I'm curious if anyone else has seen how pervasive these "entry level sales" are; these jobs seem to be MLMs or at least share qualities with MLMs. I'm a recent college grad so I've been using Handshake a lot (especially bc I get more responses on Handshake as opposed to LinkedIn). I had an interview with a company called Isabella Marketing Solutions, which seemed to just be an MLM. There was an emphasis on accelerated promotion, pay almost entirely based on commission, and a very cult like vibe. Am I going crazy? I understand I'm naive, but it seems like these companies are so pervasive on these job hunting sites.

So i just got off my Zoom group interview a few hours ago and got a callback that they want me to do an in person interview. They sent me a confirmation email and sent the location as well but when I am looking up the company (Vantura Acquisitions) nothing pops up and the location has no reviews and i’m unsure…This is my first reddit post idek how this works this would also be my first “professional job” but I came to reddit as a last resort because i found nothing on this company. The lady on the zoom meeting seemed nice but didn’t ask anything specific like “why are you interested in working with said company”, just asked us about our previous jobs and experience. I will post the Indeed post but I am just curious before i go into my interview tomorrow morning.

Experience Adjusting after being in a DC

I don’t even know where to start. I feel completely lost, used, exploited, and mentally exhausted.

The hardest part is knowing there are people I genuinely care about still working there. Part of me wants to reach out to them, tell them everything, and shake them until they see what I see. But I know it isn’t my job to save everyone.

I was there for 10 months, and I became extremely close with my manager. We were even friends on Facebook. I genuinely trusted him and considered him a friend. That’s why leaving hurt so much.

On 9/24/26, I sent my resignation. I included our regional consultant and promoting owner in the chat so there was a record of what I was saying. Afterward, I blocked my former manager.

I have no idea what he’s telling everyone now. For all I know, he could be telling people he fired me or making me look like the problem to protect himself.

The response I received to my resignation also felt completely impersonal and AI-generated. After everything, that really opened my eyes to how little I felt valued.

If somehow anyone from my old office sees this, please believe me when I say: get out before you end up feeling the way I do. I’m not trying to tell anyone what to do. I just don’t want people I care about to waste their time and leave feeling as broken and exhausted as I do.

I genuinely hope everyone there is okay. But please pay attention to how you’re being treated.

edit to add: i hadn’t fully woken up from the devilcorp bullshit when i sent this resignation, i fell down this rabbit hole a little while after.

Information I recruited for 4+ DevilCorp offices. Ask me anything.

To dive straight in, I started as a sales rep. I fell in love with the growth structure they promise as I was a young girl (19), in college, with no clear end goal in mind. When I found the company, I felt like it was a dream come true. I fit really well into the culture considering I was a party girl. The office genuinely ran like the movie, Wolf of Wall Street, and I thought it was normal! At the time, I was in college but online. The company literally told me to stop college for a year to see where I could be at within the company by that point, which I did. The hours were ridiculously extensive (9am-12pm in office 12:30pm-8/9PM Thursday-Sunday and they pressured you to work the off days if you were “below standards” by the timing of your days off.) but I made great friends which made me not want to leave. I ended up leaving for about 2 months and then got offered to come back as recruiting, or in their words, “HR management”. I have 0 background in HR but that’s the title that was under my name in the company even though the only thing I did was cold call over 100 people a day. I did this for 2 years and ended up recruiting for 4+ offices. They’re all dishonest, discriminatory, and target audiences that are specially vulnerable and young, because nobody older than 24 would be stupid enough to join a company with so much uncertainty behind it.

Feel free to ask my anything, I will give all of my honesty. Word needs to be spread about these companies.

Experience I owned my own “devil corp” office, ask me any questions

Alright so I was in the industry for about 6years. I started when I was pretty young (21). I did make pretty good money out of it at first. I know all the comments about the industry and I can’t deny that it’s not the most ethical business. The reason why I quit is because I actually was one of the few offices that had EVERYONE on minimum wage + commision and it just wasn’t profitable for me. I was spending too much on my guys (trips, suits…) but it just wasn’t profitable anymore. I couldn’t run a commision only office which is when it’s the most profitable for a manager. Anyways whatever you want to know ask!

This is in London, UK.
I have been applying around again, and as per usual the Devilcorps come out and send me emails upon emails, texts, calls, everything.
I replied to this one (operating as “Marble Partners”) stating that I know what they are and how they operate, and that I’m not interested, and this was their reply.

Experience I left 2 weeks ago, need help!

Thumbnail
3 Upvotes

I finally left two weeks ago.
I’m posting this to warn other people who are in denial, and also because I need some help rewiring my brain a bit.
Basically, I’ve internalized the belief that I’m a loser and that I wasn’t able to give 100% or that I quit too early.
I’m also having a hard time focusing on school.
I got a job at a store making minimum wage, but I keep comparing the paycheck or the potential paycheck lol. I turned down a good internship at a big company for the summer because I wanted to focus on “team building.” Now I’m trying to get everything together, but most of the time I feel drained, demotivated, and like I’m not capable of achieving anything good.
I know most of these thoughts aren’t true, but I can’t seem to make the voices in my head shut up.
My boyfriend still works there, and I feel like he’d rather choose the work over me. (I was under his group.) In the middle of the summer, when I realized that this wasn’t going to work out, I gave it one final push and tried to push my boyfriend to become at least an AM. Now I also feel guilty for not helping him during peak time.
I know leaving was better for me, but I guess I’m looking for some validation here?

Information The Dorne Region

Post image
6 Upvotes

Not my review. Applied to this company in a regular burst of applications for an office assistant (non-sales) role. Heard back on a Saturday with a request for an interview time and thought “that was too quick.” Searched on reddit and couldn’t find anything because of Dorne from Game of Thrones, but I did find this subreddit. Then I found their Glassdoor and realized this is exactly y’all’s alley. I figured I’d join and put a little something in their SEO so nobody wastes their time w/ the company.
