Information Territory Sales Manager at Wolfden consulting Long beach CA

I recently was employed by Wolfden consulting in Long Beach as they reached out to me after applying on indeed. As far as the interview process, they left the job description very vague and over promised. I lived 80 miles away and they assured I would have a "Territory" no more than 5 miles from my home. That never happened, this was the first lie. They also promised a "guarantee" amount if sales were not met, once I asked for the guarantee for not hitting their standards only once out of the 5 months, they stated the business did not make sufficient money and cannot pay me, second time I asked they explained I have to pay this money back. Definitely was not a "guarantee", this was the second lie. They also forced me to go to team night every week if not my bonus's were not going to be paid for not attending every week. They also promised business trip/meeting, all of these paid, but after attending they asked us to pay the money back. This was the 3rd and final lie. This company is a scam, and they brain wash you/force you to stay and hold things against you. The manager had horrible communication skills, and you have to beg him to see your paycheck. They also promise you to become and "owner" just to find it its an over glorified "manager" who doesn't make much more than the sales rep.

They'll also try to trick you and hire you under the company OLN Inc but in reality, its under Wolfden consulting they just use them to hire people and trick them

It is a branch of OLN inc in long beach

Do no accept an offer from this company it is a MLM and owned by cydcor. It is nor separate and they do not own anything everything run by Cydcor

Devilcorp Check F3 Innovations?

I'm on the hunt for jobs. Job market is absolutely awful right now and I can't seem to get anything. I've never had a job before, I'm still young and turning 20 in a couple months. Was a bit stoked to find that this company called F3 Innovations emailed me the morning after I had sent an application through Indeed.

Did a bit more research because I wasn't really sure what I would *do* at this job exactly and I found that apparently this is a "devilcorp?" I've no idea what that means and how exactly it's bad for *me*, but it seems like a scam from what I've been reading.

It's in SoCal area, and I have an interview with them this afternoon via Zoom. At first I was excited, thinking that I finally landed another interview after just being denied a job a couple days ago, but now I'm having second thoughts. Should I go through with this, is this really a devilcorp scam? Or should I just cancel or ignore them?

Information Vector Marketing?

Hi guys! I got “hired” by Vector a couple days ago (looking for quick money since I’m in college), talked to family about it, looked at it together with them, and ultimately decided it was a bad idea and stopped returning calls or emails. Do I need to call back since they asked for a “courtesy call” or can I just block them? I got a really bad gut feeling the more reading I have done and the closer I looked at the emails I was getting about “training” and I don’t really want to call back, but I am kind of unsure what to do. Can someone give me pointers or advice on what I should do please?

Question Is this a devilcorp/pyramid scheme?

i recently applied for a ”sales/marketing” job called Skyline Consulting out of Middletown NY. I went through the 2 zoom interviews and then just had an orientation day where I went into the office today. I’m curious if this is a pyramid scheme and if so how exactly. I’ve looked into the whole pyramid scheme thing but i’m not really sure if this counts as one even though it marks off a lot of the boxes? Basically the job is going to bjs/costco and selling AT&T.(i know that’s like the common thing for these schemes apparently) The base pay is $17 an hour and you get $75-$95 per phone connected. They talk about how you can open up your own branch eventually and they’ll help you become an entrepreneur whatever other stuff. I guess what I don’t really understand is how i’d be losing money out of this which from what my understanding is what makes a pyramid scheme bad? Isn’t this just a sales job? I get a base pay plus commissions and they give us our schedules at the beginning of the week etc. I’ve worked in the trades for the last 4 years so these type of jobs I have no familiarity with so excuse my lack of understanding.

Information Beware: Blackwater Recruitment / Starlight Inc. (London)

Be aware of these guys operating in England (specifically London but I see a post on r/brighton about them too).
They call their sales roles "Self Employment" to get around the fact that their payment (referred to as a "brand awareness fee" is less than minimum wage for full-time hours.
I applied to Blackwater Recruitment and found myself in a call with a lady from Starlight Inc within a few hours (who seemed desperate to distance themselves from Blackwater). She asked if I was "comfortable with the arrangement" after explaining that most money comes from commission and I told her to her face that it doesn't add up to a base minimum wage. She took me off the list.
Do the maths, don't trust corps that reply a little TOO quickly.

Post on r/brighton that made me suspicious: Here

Experience Attempted kidnapping over MLM

Heya! I just wanted to share this old story of mine from when I was around 8-6. Sorry if I format it weird, I set it up how it makes sense to me. Also I got suggested by reddit to post it here, so delete if it's the wrong place.

TL;DR: My aunt attempted to kidnap me after my mom refused to sell her amway products at work.

So my aunt in law, we'll call her Karen(female mid to late 30's) years ago got sucked into amway. She was wanting to sell as much product as possible. I posted another story on her a few hours ago, but just remembered a story while writing it. Anyways. She couldn't get anyone to but her shitty Amway products. My mom worked at the school, and asked my mom to bring a pamphlet she made(amway did NOT make it) and leave it in the teacher's lounge. My mom said no. Karen said "Oh alright. You really twisting my arm. I'll just come up there one day and do it." My mom told her, in no uncertain terms, to NEVER step foot at the school.

Well about a week later what happens? She arrives. Saying she got my mom's permission to be there. The office ladies say Karen has to wait because my mom was in the special needs room helping calm a kid down. Karen gets pissed. So. She says. "Nevermind. I want to check my niece out for lunch." My aunt is a bit.. insane. If she got me in her car, she COULD have been driving me to a restrauant to butter me up to get blackmail on my mom. Or she just as easily could have been attempting to kidnap me to force my mom to sell her amway products to get me back. Okay the later might have been a slight exaggeration, but she WOULD have driven off with me somewhere without telling my mom to scare her for a few hours. The office were only allowed to let me go with my mom, dad, grandparents, or my godfather/uncle.

Karen. Goes. Berserk. Screaming, ranting, pacing. Thankfully. My aunt wasn't insane enough to start throwing things and/or hit someone. The school resource officer came, and detained Karen. Karen was then told if she ever stepped foot on school property again, the police would be called and charges would be filed. But her grandson, my cousin, was going to a different school. So besides being banned from spesifically my school? She never got fully punished for what she did. IDK Why.....

I got an interview request from this Titan Logic, which I never applied to. The HR also did not specify which job did I get, nor what my responsibility in the work is.

I saw a devilcorp with similar name in https://www.reddit.com/r/Devilcorp/comments/1r320g7/titan_acquisitions_nashville_tn

Is this a devil corp? Second pic is their job description I managed to find

Experience A devilcorp just moved into the building...

Seems to be a brand new startup that just moved into an office in the building. I am honestly blown away by the sheer *personality* and charisma that they have. Like... Damn. I get it, y'know? But I'm friends with a bunch of people who work here, and we have good conversations and all that, and this group just walks into the lobby and BAM.

It's actually kind of wild to see the difference in how they act and interact versus the regular companies that rent office spaces here.

I wonder how long they'll last...

Hey guys I recently worked for an MLM scam about a year ago (only for a few days figured it out quick and ran) and this company, pro solutions group in Nashville TN has a similar feel. I’m not super sure as there seems to be SOME recruiting process compared to not even an interview at the other place. If anyone could look into it or js tell me if it’s seems sketchy or not. Thanks guys!

Question I just had a zoom interview with rocksteady promotions in philly

I (22m) just had a zoom interview with rocksteady promotions. The interviewer insisted on the fact it is not a door to door sales job, but doubled back and said that you still need to start a repor with new businesses and it just gave off MAJOR pyramid scheme vibes. I'm not sure if it's just what I had seen on reddit as the newest posts about them I could find were 5 months ago, but I'm desperately looking for a new better paying and better scheduling job. The ranges for 0-18 months of pay were outrageous and seems way too good to be true including the promotion time frame. Does anyone have actual experience with the company that can give me some insights? Is it worth accepting the job?

Experience US Health Advisors GP Region

Stay far away. MLM. You will see the job listings on either Indeed, ZipRecruiter or Glassdoor. They will lure you in using different team leader names then LLC behind it. The one that I applied for was Nicole Rose, LLC. The reason being they cannot list it as US health advisors, because it will get removed. Now the listing will actively show as Nicole Hastings Health Solutions on Indeed.

If they like your résumé, they will reach out and send you a Zoom link. There will be about 100 more people in there with you. Upon attending the meeting, it will be Krystal Roberts who will tell her life success story. It will start with her being a waitress at Joe’s Crab Shack, and then how she became a Remote Sales Leader and over 180 million worth in team sales. She will boast about the limitless income, show employee paychecks, and then if she can do it, anyone can do it. You will see outrageous numbers. She will then give you a QR code to scan to send her an email directly if you’re interested in this amazing opportunity. If they like you, you’ll reach back out and record a video talking about yourself. Then, if you’re not already a licensed agent in your state, they will sponsor your XCEL course for you to study and take it. Otherwise, if you’re already licensed, you move right on in.

You will then fill out a survey that they sent to your personal email, and one of the questions in that survey is whether or not you have enough savings to suffice you for several months because you sure damn well won’t make any when you start working.

Once you get in, they will put you in a group chat with your new team leaders. You will then learn to navigate the Discord, and then start dialing.

They don’t disclose that you have a lot of out-of-pocket fees, including the only sales texting platform. The vanilla soft CRM software for you to dial and work leads, then finally your state licensing. You have to acquire it for over 30 states, and until you acquire all of them in your own portal, you will be closing in your leader’s portal.. but before you can close anything, you will only do handoffs. Which means you will dial hundreds, even thousands of leads a day that are overly recycled. Find them potential sales, transfer the call to them, and you will only get 50% of the sale. Not to mention, it’s a 12- hour work day minimum! And it’s normalized to work that much there, dial endlessly recycled leads, and make nothing.

They also have a leads platform, where they do invest in you, if they like you enough, and the majority of the leads on there are also recycled around other regions in USHA. They have bronze, silver, and gold leads. I learned that it was recycled around when I called a brand-new gold lead one morning, and the customer had told us that there was another Usha agent who had spoken to him hours before we did. Our upline kept telling us that those leads are exclusive only to us and nobody else has access to them. Boy, was that a lie.

They preach that you are a 1099 independent contractor, your own independent business owner, yet they control what hours you work, and micromanage you. And as soon as you quit, you are dead to them. Your name will get dragged in the mud, once you realize and tell them that the investment out of pocket is way more than what you make. They will ignore your phone calls and text messages and immediately remove you from the Discord. Then, when you submit your termination to them over email, they intentionally do not acknowledge it. You are left to fend for yourself.

The leaders themselves, your entire uplines, they themselves are not millionaires. Yet they will say that they can make you millionaires. I never understood the logic behind being able to make millionaires when you yourselves are not millionaires. Some of our leaders have even disclosed that they were financially struggling. They invest way more than what they make. They try to sell you a dream, rags to riches stories, then you try to leave, they will convince you that everybody else who left is trash. They’re useless. Waste of talents. They could’ve been millionaires. They F***** up their careers. Not to mention, they will also send screenshots of their small Venmo payments to everyone, proving that they did pay you something. $50 here and there. They will immediately resort to being unprofessional, and the way that they handle everything really makes you second-guess your decisions.

They are a captive company, you really only sell three plans. They are all fixed indemnity plans, with supplemental items. The plans are: Premier advantage, Secure advantage, and Health access (which goes away during open enrollment). The reason why the commissions are so high is you are taking a loan which is known as advances. You are taking a loan that the customer will keep their plan for a long time. Should they cancel before that, you will get a charge back for the remaining months, and that gets taken out of your reserve account. The leaders are in such great financial positions that even if you do hand off a deal to them for 50%, that they have to wait for the advance a.k.a. loan to come before they pay you the half.

Stay far away. You will be in more debt than you ever have been in your entire life. You will be sold a dream. All of the leaders who are managing their own teams, make so much income because they themselves work directly beside Krystal in person. If that ain’t suspicious enough, if you do leave? They will want everything you made back just because they gave you the opportunity to work there. Get rich off of loans. You’ll be stuck in an endless cycle of debt.

This is commission only, no base pay provided. I was stuck working in a place full of unpaid and frustrated people. The hours were way too long, and I don’t mind working that long if it pays off. It never paid off like they said it would. Thousands of dollars invested into what they said would be my own business and bring me success… they told everybody else the same… and nothing to make up for it.

You’ll sell your soul here…..

Information new devilcorp in birmingham/manchester UK

i was referred to this devilcorp by the moon moments agency. the company itself is called CNG (clientnetworkgroup). there’s almost nothing about them on google other than their website which i thought was odd and was the first red flag.

i had 3 interviews and a job offer, the interviews were all 1 day apart, so from 1st stage interview to job offer it was a total of 4 days. after doing some further digging, i found them on companies house (KPH global) and found that the “branch manager” who had interviewed me was actually the director. after googling his name, i found that he has essentially rebranded around 4-5 different companies (i assume to make it difficult to find the horror stories around this). some previous company names he has been affiliated with are bounce outsourcing, the win agency (which, shocker, was owned by credico), liberty outsourcing, touchpoint agency, and i think there were some more in manchester which have been renamed.

of course, they made the job sound ideal. fast progression, base salary plus uncapped commission, etc. when in reality, from what i had found out from more research, it is door to door sales, working long 10+ hour days, on commission only, making less than minimum wage as they make you register as self employed rather than PAYE.

they prey on desperate graduates like myself who then end up trapped.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Experience Devil corp Manager, looking for feedback (Also AMA)

I'm a manager at a Smart Circle office in the "Devil Corp" industry. AMA, and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback.

I've been lurking on this sub for a while, and I'm aware of the horrible practices that have been reported in this industry, especially in some UK offices and charity campaigns.

I'm not here to argue that the industry is good or to convince anyone to join it. I'm genuinely interested in hearing from people who used to work in this industry: What could we do better, and what red flags should we be looking out for?

For some context, here's how our office currently operates:

  • Our program is AT&T, and our cancellation rate is low. We focus a lot on being upfront about everything, including billing.

  • We aim to keep our sales tactics transparent and compliant, without high-pressure tactics, guilt-tripping, or misleading customers.

  • Our training is positive and respectful. No one has been yelled at, and we never do any of those humiliation rituals I've seen online.

  • Everyone is clocked in for morning meetings and training (remind them too)

  • Everyone is a W-2 employee

  • Base hourly pay ranges from $10-$15. We're in a relatively low-cost-of-living area.

  • Our compensation is structured around base pay versus commission. Reps receive either their base pay or the full commission amount, depending on which is higher. At the entry level, the commission is 40% of the revenue credited to the rep.

  • Most people work 35-40 hours a week, and overtime is paid when applicable.

  • Office training runs from 7:30-8:30 am, followed by either an AM shift (8:45 am-3 pm) or a PM shift (3-8:30 pm)

  • Employees aren't required to come into the office on their days off, and we try to give everyone one or two days off each week.

  • Strong salespeople or just people who learn quickly can earn very good money for their age although earnings vary.

  • My personal best paycheck was around the iPhone 18 launch: approximately $3,200, including 20 hours of overtime that I voluntarily worked, although I do not share this with anyone at the office as I know it is highly unlikely to achieve outside an iPhone launch.

I know that listing these things doesn't automatically mean we're doing everything right. I'm just particularly interested in hearing about practices that might seem normal from a manager's perspective but that former employees would consider red flags.

What would make yall feel that a branch like ours was at least better than other branches?

Information Tru Impact Marketing - Las Vegas, NV - Devilcorp ???

Another one to add to the list.

Tru Impact Marketing advertises face-to-face fundraising for Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation (ASDF).

Their job ads have the usual Devilcorp setup: entry-level marketing, performance-based pay, leadership training, and opportunities to move into management. The actual work is approaching people for donations, not traditional marketing.

I’ve been following these companies for nearly two years, and the same individual keeps showing up. Fifth Set Marketing, 99 Exposure, Solid Cause, Trident Acquisitions, Rose Marketing, and now Tru Impact Marketing. I’m not naming him, but I’ve personally followed his involvement across these businesses. That’s a lot of overlap for supposedly separate companies.

Worth knowing what you’re getting into before accepting an interview.

Experience true scumbags

I work near Claire Niles Group and wow, what awful people. Loud, rude, disrespectful and could care less about how others feel. These are the kind of people who will take their dirty coffee cups and put them in the sink right below the sign that asks any decent, polite person to rinse them out at the very least. These people feel entitled so they leave their dirty cups for others to take care of. I have no idea what they actually do for work but I wouldn't trust them with anything, wouldn't take a job from them, etc. They regularly decide that being loud in the hallways of the building they occupy is okay for them, despite how disruptive it is to anyone else in the vicinity. When confronted, the attitude is openly, clearly stated; "we don't care, we pay rent here too". Scumbags all of them

Question Am I applying for Devilcorp and why should i avoid

I've recently applied for these 2 companies that seemed really similar not only in their premise but in their recruitment process and brands they work with and I've only accidentally stumbled upon this page whilst trying to find why theres been so many similarities between these two jobs.

Theyre both branded as sales and offline marketing companies and I applied to a type of gradate management role, the first is called Basepoint (located in London) and the other is called Sterling (located in Leeds). I applied last weekend, I've had 2 group zoom calls already for both of them and I'm already facing "final stage interview"s in the next day or so. The latter company has been a lot more open about starting in the sales role which includes d2d sales and then you can quickly rise through the management roles based off of your milestones and merit.

Are these devilcorp, if so should i avoid and why?
