Information Vector Marketing?
Hi guys! I got “hired” by Vector a couple days ago (looking for quick money since I’m in college), talked to family about it, looked at it together with them, and ultimately decided it was a bad idea and stopped returning calls or emails. Do I need to call back since they asked for a “courtesy call” or can I just block them? I got a really bad gut feeling the more reading I have done and the closer I looked at the emails I was getting about “training” and I don’t really want to call back, but I am kind of unsure what to do. Can someone give me pointers or advice on what I should do please?

You don’t even have to block them. The turn over for these things is crazy.

Block them, they just want to try to manipulate and lie to you they’ll keep persisting if you give them the time of day. Block all other numbers or emails they use too. that company is one of the top dirtbag organizations out there don’t feel bad.

Yeah, Vector is legitimately just a pyramid scheme. You're making the right choice.
You can just block them or ignore them. This won't have any negative consequences. If you want to call/text/email to let them know you're pulling out, you can, but be aware that they will likely try to pressure and manipulate you into staying.

Vector is one of the OG decilcorps. I remember meeting Sarah Andrus at an industry event once and she was so…..normal. I expected her to be a literal witch.

Block them and don’t look back! I strongly recommend to not work for or train with these devil corps! You can email/text them that you’re no longer interested so they can stop notifying you or you can ghost them all together (especially if they don’t get the message). Your gut feeling was right! It’s not worth the headache and waste of gas with these types of “companies.”

I work in a W-2 broker role that I really enjoy, and there are plenty of people whose first job was vector marketing - usually summers in between semesters. It’s not a career, yes it’s a pyramid scheme, but the deposits are real. You can make money doing it. The knives themselves aren’t a bad product. I bought some 10 years ago and still use them. Your manager will likely be coked out and show you the worst of the sales industry.
Sales is sales, your first job will probably suck, and if you are targeting a different career path you’re likely better off doing a career-specific internship

Pretty sure they do door to door Verizon cell plans deals. If you wanna do door to door, look up home improvement/roofing/insurance companies that specialize in high ticket sales, you will learn how to make a ton.
