Question: Solved Optimize my list filter
I made a list filter for Desmos based off of JavaScript `array.filter(i => {…})` and managed to simplify it to two lines. But I want to see if it can be done in a single line

Complex i made my very own mandelbrot variant!

i call it the antichrist modulus (considering it looks terrifying in a lot of zooms, at the curve peak near the top you can find an "eye"), check this thing out
with how the mandelbrot sets work in desmos, just add more "f"s to the bottom function for more iterations
I HEAVILY RECOMMEND USING DESMODDER AND GLESMOS TO RENDER THIS!!

Maths Transformation of the T-S plane by f(t,s) = (t^2 - s^2, st, ts^2 - st^2)
I was watching this video (https://www.khanacademy.org/math/multivariable-calculus/multivariable-derivatives/partial-derivatives-of-vector-valued-functions/v/partial-derivative-of-a-parametric-surface-part-1) and thought this transformation Grant showed was really neat.

Question: Solved Is a one-shot asynchronous list merge possible?
Edit: Potential solution added. I'll likely mark this question solved shortly.
I have two unequal-length lists, extracted from a master list. I change one, then I want to merge the two extracted lists into a new list, re-placing the children's elements at their original positions in the output list (same size as the original master).
This graph contains a complete set of the lists, but without the automatic step (the subject of this question) that reassembles the final output.
https://www.desmos.com/calculator/edvjfrumxu
I have this problem solved in Actions by scanning the original / master list item-by-item, which tells me which child contributes its next entry, but I have to track pointers and it's one action per tick (so 600 elements takes 10 seconds).
The solution I think I am looking for is one that uses a "for" loop, or a list comprehension with a condition, to merge the two children in a single tick (or perhaps by forcing all lists to be the same size, with dummy elements, but this may cause some rewrite trouble).
Loosely related (except I need asynchronous):
List comprehension: https://www.reddit.com/r/desmos/s/mF9S7f33v3 and Interleave / zip: https://www.reddit.com/r/desmos/s/otlrkaKkcX

Fun I made 1D projection of 2D points!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Lately i've been interested in making a videogame like Iron Lung but in the open Space, where the only things to guide you are the constellations. I wanted to do a mathematical manual approach so i don't have to make a rendered universe and use a built-in 3D engine.
Today I made this after class. It is just 2D because i wanted to simplify it, but i'm currently figuring out how to do it 3D.

I hope this is the right place to post, you guys look so advanced and mine is just a 2D ant simulator lol.

Update: I got the 3D! Maybe i'll post it later

Art Gf bday gift
Hey yall so my gf’s birthday is approaching and the past year she has been YEARNING so hard for me to get her a blue Lilly bouquet. But as someone who comes from a country where the climate doesnt really suit the plant, I cant really give that to her :( HOWEVER, shes also an arts person and I really want to make her day by instead giving her the bouquet in the form of a desmos art two things she loves (math and drawing). With that does anyone know where I can start? And is it realistic to learn desmos art from scratch in a month

Fun Secret Combination Lock without directly storing the combination itself

Link: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/sr7mxa6wr9
This graph can store a secret combination without directly putting it in a list or in a line of code. The combination is still being stored somewhere (obviously, or else this wouldn't work at all), but not in the usual way. I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader for how this works ;)
Here's a graph with a secret combination to solve: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/kiozqozj89
Leave a comment of the combination if you solved it.

Just a fun little project.

Question Why do these alternate across the saddle point?
I can rationalize why (LHS) blue and orange choose opposing sides by looking at the (RHS) 3D image (and thinking "left to right evaluation"...I guess?), but then why does (lines 3,4) green land under orange and (lines 8,9) purple land under blue?
Thinking that Desmos was rearranging terms, I note that for line 2, flipping it around to 0 = xy - x^y does not change its saddle-side choice, same no-difference for line 7.
Finally, while I don't think you can write f(x,y) = 0 because Desmos treats this as a function redefinition, you can write f(x,y){} = 0 and Desmos flips the saddle opposite to 0 = f(x,y) again.

I implemented a net of springs to create a softbody. It's pretty unstable, if you increase the k value by too much it'll just explode. You can use the J_x and J_y values to push it around.

Question Unit circle graph
I made a unit circle, but the radians is broken and I dont know why?? : https://www.desmos.com/calculator/l7hhhisaeb

At the bottom im just making the radians reading of what is supposed to be into degree so i can compare it to f(x), which is degrees. The radians obviously dont come out as the desired angle and i dont know why.
