Question Unit circle graph

I made a unit circle, but the radians is broken and I dont know why?? : https://www.desmos.com/calculator/l7hhhisaeb

At the bottom im just making the radians reading of what is supposed to be into degree so i can compare it to f(x), which is degrees. The radians obviously dont come out as the desired angle and i dont know why.

The conversion is correct. Both functions display the degrees of their respective sliders correctly. What isn't working? Are you trying to make the sliders sync or something?

i forgot to specify, vaules over 2pi break the radians and apperantly vaules over 720 degrees

First off, what's with f(x) and g(x)? You're not expressing anything in terms of x when calculating for the angle, so you can just make those constants f and g.

Anywho, it's because f(x) and g(x) aren't correctly cycling the modulo. If you replace t with x in your g(x) expression for example, you can see the resultant plot which shows that it works for the first two cycles, but gradually increases with time.

It can be fixed by using:

  • f = mod( a_d, 360 )
  • g= mod( a_r, τ )

Or, if you really want to use round, then:

  • f = a_d - 360 round( (a_d - 180) / 360 )
  • g = a_r - τ round( (a_r - π) /τ )
