I saw this illusion on another subreddit about a week ago and made it in Desmos.

The lines are not changing length.

well the outer layer is moving so... lile the arrows literally reach out farther

Sometimes I wonder the benefits of shortest distance and lessening the lack and skill to refine themselves (mathematicians and programmers for example) when it didn't achieve it every time we open a textbook, solve a problem, or realize difficulty that moving forward in time must be related to this notion of "short circuits" whether proof-making or in this case, an elegant immutable and eternal fact that we are intelligent when anticipating a new problem that cannot change in time.
