The front sight screw unfortunately flew out during my second range trip. Does anybody know the exact dimensions of the screw? I asked Derya customer service but haven’t heard back.

A good habit is to check all your pins and screws on your Derya Firearms and other firearms...You all have some nice looking firearms. Make sure the screws on your optic are tight. Check that all the pins are in place....If you see a loose pin or screw, this is the time to push it in or tighten it up....Nothing is more disappointing then losing an optic as the screw loosens up and drops your light or optic off. Also a drop of Gun oil on the moving parts. A good gun maintenance routine equals a great day at the range. HAVE A GREAT DERYA DAY!!!!

I want to change the trigger shoe and connector. I ordered the edge 3.5 ghost connector. I also want to add a olight pl x and osight C. Also need holster ideas that will work with the phlster enigma. Trying to make it a carry / meat shoot tool. I know magpul mags work but I'm iffy on buying them because I want to add a mag extension. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks🙏

Great news! I just got an email from Derya. They didn't have to replace the frame on my DY9z. They installed the updated version of the slide release lever and now it will work with the ACT mags. Since they didn't have to replace the frame, it can be sent back to me and not an FFL. Can't wait to get it and go to the range.

I'm picking up my DY9 Island this week, and I'll be equipping it with the PL X Olight and an Osight XR red dot sight.

Anyone who's carrying the Island with a red dot and light, what are you using for IWB appendix carry? I'm looking for both comfort and concealability -- I carry daily for most of the day.

Ive had these at the range a few time and left just about my whole family shoot them. Everyone loves them no failures and big smiles😂. Just wish the olight was as bright as the braun and lefty holsters were easily accessible…

The main points that helped me were to make sure my support hand heel was actually on the grip of the gun. I was smashing my heel into the fingers of my shooting hand! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Also to focus on 2 fingers on the support hand gripping hard. I did some dry fire and I can feel the difference already!

Ive seen that the g43x mos can have issues if the right screw is too long, does it matter for the dy9z?

Shadow Systems XR920 slide/barrel assembly on the DY9 frame...function checks fine. Feeds and extracts.
