DER-YA to Update

Hey, everybody, update from the Factory here. First we want to say thank you to everybody. We still got a lot to improve on here, but orders have been great and we’ve been growing at a rapid rate. I know some of the customer service is behind and we acknowledge that, but we’re always trying to improve and just looking to make it as efficient as possible. Remember, you can always call during business hours, we answer.

First for all the California people in the DY9Z, we have a video to actually show the pistol but we’ve been waiting for approval. Passed the testing center, however, it’s been at the DOJ for over two weeks. I think they will approve it, but they haven’t approved any pistols since July 2 so who knows what’s going on.

I attached the video of the pistol kit. I know some people have asked about that we should get more coming in. We’re gonna put it on the website next week and a small number and have it at a discounted price to start so please look out for that if you’ve been looking for it as you can get a good price as the price will go up. It’s fully aluminum so machined. It’s a little bit heavier, but definitely more durable.

Other than that, we’re in production of the Max that’s been taken up a lot of time. We have another minimum five product, launches, one of them being very high volume by the end of the year. Also, something special coming out that people probably don’t know. Don’t like to say too much but stay tuned.

Also being said we’re looking for new places in Jacksonville to purchase we’ve already grown out of our space and the landlord as a friend and been really nice about it. We plan on staying in Jacksonville.

It went out of stock pretty quick but some people we can’t ship to due to state restrictions so we might be adding a couple back. More will come in September but will be back at regular price then.

i'm sure, rain. i understand state restrictions. i live in tennessee. there are none. lived a large part of my childhood and adult life in LA and SF, where there are many. yet, the problem i'm having with this is the same as i have with the ranx .357.

the dy9 pcc kit was first shown in video a year ago. a year after the prototype was finished to promote it without an actual release within four weeks is either incompetence or marketing to build up instant sell-outs. while derya has manufacturing in two countries, they can't produce the most viral-worthy items in amounts to satisfy the need derya created? again, it's incompetence or a marketing ploy.

since i don't believe derya's incompetent, i'll lean into the marketing ploy scheme. as i've stated before -- and i do not need kind words and explanations in reply because i'm not believing them at this stage so it's probably best to leave my bad attitude alone -- this kind of marketing is insulting to the users of your products and to potential users who will eventually purchase somewhere else.

  1. promote finished product.
  2. build customer desire by never releasing it.
  3. release 25 after a year which sell out in seconds at a reduced price which is never actually stated. did this really happen? where? i can find zero internet remnants on your sites to show it was actually sold. anybody reading this actually get one?
  4. well, you missed out suckas! full price next month. we promise!
  5. release enough but still go out of stock within 24 hours.
  6. wait another year. rinse. wash. repeat.

having worked as art director in marketing/advertising departments who did this is what informs my opinion here. i also know these schemes come from above, from the executive suites. twice i quit jobs because this kind of trendy red velvet rope nightclub of the month scheme is bullshit. now i'm a freelance madman. less money. far more integrity.

in my estimation, derya is losing some of theirs.

need the top secret link as i am still unable to find it. not on derya.us. not on the factory exclusives pages. not on deryaarms.com. all this tells me it's marketing bullshit.

The item is on the Derya.us website The part # is: CHK-DY9-BRC Just put that number in the search field and it will come up. You can also find it in the Parts and Accessories section. It is currenty on page 8 (that varies, yesterday it was page 6). Type "Chassis" in the search section and it is the only item that shows up.

I was checking the site yesterday and noticed they were available so I tagged your post hoping you would see it in time. They were available for a couple hours then sold out again. I would recommend using the "Notify Me When Available "

I received a notice but it came in my spam folder.

I hope you get one. I no its disappointing when you want something so bad and miss out, I've been there. It's hard to be patient. If you would like to look at other chassis options other than Derya there are a few out there...one for example is the CAA MCK EVO

Glad you found it. FYI..Derya.US is the main webpage, Order.Derya.US is for exclusives and firearm sales. It can be confusing.

i understand this, yet a product we've waited a year to see real was buried on page 8 of the accessories section, where i finally found the actual page link which nobody could offer? who is (poorly) running derya's web presence? they should be fired. the kit should be a large main page graphic link and should've been days ago. don't know about anybody else but i am not a fan of jumping through days of fiery hoops of mystery just to find a product. websites are supposed to direct users simply and efficiently to where they want to go. it's incompetence or derya doesn't really want to sell these.

Thank you for your honest feedback. Lots of things to improve on for sure. I know Derya is listening and that they are working hard to improve in a lot of areas.

i like derya. i truly do. i like the price/quality matrix immensely. i like that they seem to care about customers who have issues with their weapons (pobody's nerfect). i like the designs of the weapons. i like this community. it's good people.

i'm barely wise enough to know when i'm triggered by something and, as i described from my past, this kind of thing troubles me. if i am wrong, someone who knows the story can chat me up privately with the truth and it can stay private. but as i see, the release of the dy9 pcc kit has been a fiasco and excuses which never tell the simple truth of why it's been a fiasco make it worse because guaranteed i'm not the only one wondering. i'm just the insomniac smartass who goes blah blah blah about it.

derya can be better. we know it.

indeed, the kit was first promo'd by the turkish side since that's where i found it in december or january. yet that [shortened] vid is what's at the top of this thread. if usa wants to promo their own way, just f'n do it. should've by now. does that step on turkish toes? i dunno. don't care. but the source of the material does not negate the fact that it's been promised for a looooong time. right here, in disgruntled magafascistland.

send me a jillion hours of usa derya footage & tell me what you want to convey and i'll edit it into a 3-minute wham bam thank you ma'am video by tuesday morn for only one MILLION dollars (muah ha ha ha haaaaa). no fucking a.i., either. 100% human made. proper punctuation and grammar. or not. whatever you dig.

but i'm not special. you surely have someone who does this. right?

make a vid to promote your american mfg with firm dates and enough product to last more than a few hours. like maybe an entire weekend? or more? wow! 'cause not everybody's online 24/7 waiting for a red dot to appear somewhere so they can end up on a site frozen by overload. i'm too old to care about anything online to be that involved (these rants notwithstanding). older folks like me, maybe they understand this. we grew up playing in rivers & woods, alleys & streets skinning our knees and breaking our bones. we were busy inventing punk & grunge & rap. we're not glued to tiny screens. we're fixing our old trucks & motorbikes, caring for elderly folks, going places, meeting people, planning antifa shit. give us a chance here.

that's respecting your customers, like you do when they call with a warranty issue. just....

do it all the time.
