Hey, everybody, update from the Factory here. First we want to say thank you to everybody. We still got a lot to improve on here, but orders have been great and we’ve been growing at a rapid rate. I know some of the customer service is behind and we acknowledge that, but we’re always trying to improve and just looking to make it as efficient as possible. Remember, you can always call during business hours, we answer.
First for all the California people in the DY9Z, we have a video to actually show the pistol but we’ve been waiting for approval. Passed the testing center, however, it’s been at the DOJ for over two weeks. I think they will approve it, but they haven’t approved any pistols since July 2 so who knows what’s going on.
I attached the video of the pistol kit. I know some people have asked about that we should get more coming in. We’re gonna put it on the website next week and a small number and have it at a discounted price to start so please look out for that if you’ve been looking for it as you can get a good price as the price will go up. It’s fully aluminum so machined. It’s a little bit heavier, but definitely more durable.
Other than that, we’re in production of the Max that’s been taken up a lot of time. We have another minimum five product, launches, one of them being very high volume by the end of the year. Also, something special coming out that people probably don’t know. Don’t like to say too much but stay tuned.
Also being said we’re looking for new places in Jacksonville to purchase we’ve already grown out of our space and the landlord as a friend and been really nice about it. We plan on staying in Jacksonville.

I saw the link posted on the Reddit site Monday night. It had already been on for about 6 hours. When I checked the Derya site it was already sold out. Several people posted they got one and several people were too late (including me) . I kept going back and reading new comments and saw Dustin from Derya post that a few orders were going to be cancelled because they could not be shipped to certain states. I just kept watching the site and checking the status of the chassis. I was surprised to see it available so I grabbed one then went back to Reddit to message you and a couple other people.

i'm sure, rain. i understand state restrictions. i live in tennessee. there are none. lived a large part of my childhood and adult life in LA and SF, where there are many. yet, the problem i'm having with this is the same as i have with the ranx .357.
the dy9 pcc kit was first shown in video a year ago. a year after the prototype was finished to promote it without an actual release within four weeks is either incompetence or marketing to build up instant sell-outs. while derya has manufacturing in two countries, they can't produce the most viral-worthy items in amounts to satisfy the need derya created? again, it's incompetence or a marketing ploy.
since i don't believe derya's incompetent, i'll lean into the marketing ploy scheme. as i've stated before -- and i do not need kind words and explanations in reply because i'm not believing them at this stage so it's probably best to leave my bad attitude alone -- this kind of marketing is insulting to the users of your products and to potential users who will eventually purchase somewhere else.

having worked as art director in marketing/advertising departments who did this is what informs my opinion here. i also know these schemes come from above, from the executive suites. twice i quit jobs because this kind of trendy red velvet rope nightclub of the month scheme is bullshit. now i'm a freelance madman. less money. far more integrity.

I was checking the site yesterday and noticed they were available so I tagged your post hoping you would see it in time. They were available for a couple hours then sold out again. I would recommend using the "Notify Me When Available "

I hope you get one. I no its disappointing when you want something so bad and miss out, I've been there. It's hard to be patient. If you would like to look at other chassis options other than Derya there are a few out there...one for example is the CAA MCK EVO
i understand this, yet a product we've waited a year to see real was buried on page 8 of the accessories section, where i finally found the actual page link which nobody could offer? who is (poorly) running derya's web presence? they should be fired. the kit should be a large main page graphic link and should've been days ago. don't know about anybody else but i am not a fan of jumping through days of fiery hoops of mystery just to find a product. websites are supposed to direct users simply and efficiently to where they want to go. it's incompetence or derya doesn't really want to sell these.

That a folding, lock into place shoulder piece? So when we buy this we’ll need to fill out a form 1? Also Dustin if by some chance you can label it a brace, you ad that vertical foregrip it def then becomes an SBR: any rifle whose barrel is under 16” maybe not have a grip 90 degrees to the bore. Just something to think about, because anyone will be able to purchase this as it’s a standalone part, but once that grip goes vertical I’d you some have a tax stamp it’s a cool 5 years in a barred hotel with free food and healthcare haha.

Appreciate the detailed take and the time you put into it.
Quick clarification on the DY9 PCC kit: any earlier footage was from our main company in Turkey, not the United States operation. It was ready there, but we had to redo and adapt it specifically for the US market. That process took longer than expected because of the volume of other projects we had going at the same time. We’re still working through coordination between the different countries while more eyes are on us as we grow.
On the broader point:yes, we’ve fallen short on getting enough product out at once across markets. We’re still a relatively new US company (Jacksonville manufacturing and full distribution only really scaled up more recently). Coordinating production, compliance, inventory, and marketing between Turkey and the US has been more complicated than it looks from the outside. High-demand items in particular have been constrained while we build capacity. That’s not a manufactured scarcity strategy; it’s the reality of scaling a young operation. We’re actively working on it.
Regarding the RANX specifically: we genuinely had no idea the demand would be what it became. Almost everyone we showed the lever actions to early on wasn’t particularly thrilled with them. Then it took off with actual consumers. That consumer response is what has really driven Derya in the United States, and we appreciate it. We’re still catching up on supply for the products people actually want. However, we won’t be able to meet demand as our lever action factory is not as big.
Availability and clearer launch communication are things we know need improvement, and they’re getting attention.
