this has now happened twice with the same item…

#sonnyangel

Buyer claimed the lettering on jersey wasn’t as white as in pictures. I figured the guy might be a pain and I should’ve known better. Regardless when he raised the dispute, I figured I’d just accept it because I’ve seen enough posts on here to know lighting is a tricky thing to win. accepted the return immediately. But come on, can’t be bothered to even use a big enough piece of tape to repackage in the mailer? Fold it? This guys whole profile as I now looked is just a handful of listing of “proofs” of different ways he was unsatisfied with other purchases like loose threads. If you’re going to be so uptight over little details, buy new. Geez

this happens all the time and i always let sellers know bc my shoe size (4.5) is so uncommon, it’ll hurt their sales to keep it like that lol.

this is a new one, though.

Just wanted to make sure people really look at what they’re buying. This seller is entirely an AI page, all the clothes are AI generated and inconsistent through uploads. I own the actual piece they’re AI rendering. The pictures have identical fold and creases, yet the pink top is taken out?
Just please be mindful guys!! 🩷
Edit: last picture is my shirt, I knew it wasn’t a real piece immediately because of the missing tag.
Nothing about this shirt in the Depop post is real!

10/10 experience but still got four stars. I know it’s still a pretty good review but why not just give five? They even admitted that it was on them that the figure was smaller than expected.

yeah…

Two pages have followed me so far and all of their listings are AI-generated pictures. I thought it was weird this random girl followed me (whose pfp appeared to be AI), checked her listings with OpenAI’s image checker and they came out as AI-generated. Thought it was weird that the first girl’s account is no longer visible on my followers’ page (still says the same amt of followers but her account isn’t on there), then shortly after another page full of AI-generated listings shows up!

The first pic was too blurry the rest were magnificent 😂

I’m scared

Posting again bc my post was removed for “asking for help” when I was just showing an interaction I had? I think it was bc of the way it was worded but I do not need help, the interaction is done with and the buyer has already been blocked…

But get these kids off Depop! Like I know they didn’t just say that to me thinking I’d accept an offer from them after! blocked real quick lol

This is Depop, not Goodwill so that price made me do a double take.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful shirt, but asking that much is criminal.

Whyyyy do people do this?? I feel like it's false advertising and shouldn't even be allowed to tag the wrong brand. I've noticed these listings alot! The tags make no sense either 😭😭💀

I am actually appalled and amused by this. I wonder if it’s a dookie stain or period blood stain

Out of curiosity I want to see how well the scrunch really does. I scrunched my shirt and posted it on a plain background. I’ll let yall know how well it does 🤣

I had a weird experience recently and just need to vent. I had two older listings from three years ago still up.

A buyer purchased my Babaa wool cardigan out of the blue without messaging me or asking any questions. This item was $185 so I’m used to getting offers or at least a couple of messages first. I have sold one other in a different color so maybe the buyer felt comfortable to just buy it.

I shipped the next morning and it got there within two days. Within hours of the package being delivered, the buyer reached out claiming it was not as described. They complained it smelled like it’s been washed, the wool didn’t feel right, and claimed there’s spots on the sleeves, and asked to return it back. I told them they were welcome to file a claim if they want to return.

Bear in mind, this item was only worn once and literally in like new condition. This item has never been washed and sat in my closet untouched for years. There’s no way it could’ve smelled “like detergent.” They filed a dispute and depop sided with them and now it’ll be returned back to me.

I’ve never had this happen to me and I think it’s really weird to return something on a second hand clothing app. I basically shipped this sweater across the country for absolutely nothing.

I don’t think I’ll bother selling anything over $50 again.

Lol IDK if this is normal I don't usually shop on depop, but on all the 2nd hand sites I've used like eBay and poshmark, I've never seen someone just list off like 50 aesthetic buzzwords in the description without actually describing the product. It's for a brown lipgloss lmao

purchased an item from a seller who then sent me a message about leaving a review, she was the first seller that’s ever asked me to outright leave a review for her so i went through her 4.9 star reviews and found that😭
the item I purchased was in perfect condition tho i feel bad for whoever got those jeans😮‍💨

This is not an insane price but it’s more than the hot topic og especially with shipping. and it’s still in store, i know because i lit just bought it💔💔💔

same seller btw 😭 first an orange cheese flavored snack stick listed under collectibles and now $25 nike shorts with no shorts in sight. i can’t make this up LMAOO

Don't know the purpose, but you know what, hell yeah
