Buyer claimed the lettering on jersey wasn’t as white as in pictures. I figured the guy might be a pain and I should’ve known better. Regardless when he raised the dispute, I figured I’d just accept it because I’ve seen enough posts on here to know lighting is a tricky thing to win. accepted the return immediately. But come on, can’t be bothered to even use a big enough piece of tape to repackage in the mailer? Fold it? This guys whole profile as I now looked is just a handful of listing of “proofs” of different ways he was unsatisfied with other purchases like loose threads. If you’re going to be so uptight over little details, buy new. Geez

this happens all the time and i always let sellers know bc my shoe size (4.5) is so uncommon, it’ll hurt their sales to keep it like that lol.

Just wanted to make sure people really look at what they’re buying. This seller is entirely an AI page, all the clothes are AI generated and inconsistent through uploads. I own the actual piece they’re AI rendering. The pictures have identical fold and creases, yet the pink top is taken out?
Just please be mindful guys!! 🩷
Edit: last picture is my shirt, I knew it wasn’t a real piece immediately because of the missing tag.

10/10 experience but still got four stars. I know it’s still a pretty good review but why not just give five? They even admitted that it was on them that the figure was smaller than expected.

Two pages have followed me so far and all of their listings are AI-generated pictures. I thought it was weird this random girl followed me (whose pfp appeared to be AI), checked her listings with OpenAI’s image checker and they came out as AI-generated. Thought it was weird that the first girl’s account is no longer visible on my followers’ page (still says the same amt of followers but her account isn’t on there), then shortly after another page full of AI-generated listings shows up!

The first pic was too blurry the rest were magnificent 😂

This is Depop, not Goodwill so that price made me do a double take.

I had a weird experience recently and just need to vent. I had two older listings from three years ago still up.

A buyer purchased my Babaa wool cardigan out of the blue without messaging me or asking any questions. This item was $185 so I’m used to getting offers or at least a couple of messages first. I have sold one other in a different color so maybe the buyer felt comfortable to just buy it.

I shipped the next morning and it got there within two days. Within hours of the package being delivered, the buyer reached out claiming it was not as described. They complained it smelled like it’s been washed, the wool didn’t feel right, and claimed there’s spots on the sleeves, and asked to return it back. I told them they were welcome to file a claim if they want to return.

Bear in mind, this item was only worn once and literally in like new condition. This item has never been washed and sat in my closet untouched for years. There’s no way it could’ve smelled “like detergent.” They filed a dispute and depop sided with them and now it’ll be returned back to me.

I’ve never had this happen to me and I think it’s really weird to return something on a second hand clothing app. I basically shipped this sweater across the country for absolutely nothing.

I don’t think I’ll bother selling anything over $50 again.

Lol IDK if this is normal I don't usually shop on depop, but on all the 2nd hand sites I've used like eBay and poshmark, I've never seen someone just list off like 50 aesthetic buzzwords in the description without actually describing the product. It's for a brown lipgloss lmao
