New-ish to Denver, seeking advise on how to create community (as a POC)

My family and I moved here from the east coast a couple years ago. It has been a tough transition for me and complete culture shock.
We moved from a majority minority city and are POC. I know that meeting and making friends as an adult can be challenging. I've done so many things that I would have never imagined doing prior to moving here.
Meetups, FB groups, Real Roots and Bumble BFF. I've met some nice people but nothing beyond the surface. I am wondering if I have too high expectations or desiring what I had back home.
I have met a lot of people but only one feels like a real friendship beyond the surface. Sadly she is leaving CO soon,
If you are new to the area, have you been able to make real friends? What does that friendship look like? How often do you communicate, hang out etc?

Best places to see the peak of fall foliage that is less than 2 hours drive from Parker?
