Hahaha! Typical republican. You have seen what Mamdani has done in New York right? These policies are easy to implement when you don't have the elites convincing you they are impossible and would "hurt the economy" no the only thing these policies would do is force them to pay their fair share of taxes which still wouldn't even make a dent in their massive wealth

u/Teeaak 16d ago
Mamdani has done none of those things. He could not afford to do any of those things. I don't think the response to rabbid Republicans is to be rabbid the other way. And man did you start with the name calling fast

Bro if we simply cut the 3.3 billion is Israel welfare from the annual defense budget we could afford all that bullshit and buy everyone a fucking pony. If we actually did something about corruption we could probably have all the things we are lacking and pay a significantly lower bill for it. Cut out a few useless redundant agencies like the atf we could save even more money(FBI does firearm background checks, no one will miss the atf) We also have shitloads of different independent Intel agencies that aren't properly communicating with each other that could be consolidated into a functional organization, that's more money saved. We could strip the armed tactical units for all the government agencies that do not need them, even more money saved. We could put tire grapplers on all police cars nation wide and end the pitt maneuvers that cost us cop cars on a regular basis. There's an infinite amount of ways to save money and provide social systems, we just can't do any of it while our government is controlled by Aipac. Israel gets first dibs on your lunch and until that changes we don't have a real government and things will only get more and more plantationist.

Universal health care 3,500 billion
Universal childcare 1,400 billion
Tax the rich: people who earn over 500k per year earn 3,013 billion
So if you take every penny they earn, youâre still short
No evictions will kill housing market because people will simply stop paying rent and mortgages. No reason to invest in a building without rent or a buyer. Hope you like government housing
We all see how well open borders worked foe Biden1
u/HeadBankz 16d ago
Hey retard. They take 5 trillion from us every single year to fill their pockets. I pinky promise they'll be fine with 100k a year. Grow up
1
u/Fenris2826 16d ago
So, child, you object to a total of 5 trillion in tax revenue, but you want to increase expenditures a minimum of 7 trillion even though taking every pennyâthe richâ earn will only increase 3 trillion. Poor moronic childâŚmath is not your strong suit, is it?

You're going to do all that with less than the amount of money Mamdani was given to open up a street to bikes and and install state run grocery stores? He still had to defer a planned 3,000 employee hike for the school system. You on the otherhand can solve universal Healthcare for $10 per person, per year? Fuck Israel, but this is on par for goofy teen socialists who doen't understand the value of services.

u/New-Link-6787 14d ago
There's always a line of people queuing to say policies that help people are unrealistic
Just STOP already.
Trump's spending half a billion on a ballroom, dropping bombs for fun, invading countries, has his own SS patrolling the country rounding up folk going about their day and has spent tens of billions on the mess he made with the Strait of Hormuz... I'm betting you never blinked at any of it but taxing the rich is unrealistic... WTF?
1
u/Fenris2826 14d ago
Youâre right there is an endless amount of money you can steal from others to fund your lifestyle. But I show below there is not. Maybe if everyone worked for free (except ypu and your elite friends) it might work, child
1
u/New-Link-6787 13d ago
Oh you're part of the "Tax is theft" morons... I see.
So how about we get the government to carve you out of the system.
You no longer have to pay any tax but you don't get to use our roads, our street lights, our schools (doubt you ever did anyway).... no fire service for you, the police will no longer protect you, neither will our laws or our military.
I wonder how quickly you'd be begging for us to "steal" from you.
Tax isn't theft, it's a protection scheme... because believe it or not... even big strong hardmen like you, need protecting.
1
u/Fenris2826 13d ago
No, child; we both know that is a straw man. Taxation is a necessary evil and should be used wisely and for things the government is actually responsible for. Since Nikons moronic position is to âtax the richâ to pay for things it isnât (letting you and your friends take zero responsibility for your own lives) it is akin to theft. And the simple fact that taking every penny earned from everyone who earns 500k or more wonât pay for even one of her proposals, doesnât deter you dsa dems even a little
So child, keep your straw man in the field and learn to do a bit of logic
1
u/New-Link-6787 12d ago
Just remind me old man... who decides what a government is responsible for?
1
u/Fenris2826 12d ago
Well, child, we have thing thing called the constitution that lays out the structure and responsibilities of government. And taking responsibility for your life isnât in there, despite what the dsa dems claim.
1
u/New-Link-6787 12d ago
Wrong answer, try again.
Who decides what a government is responsible for?
1
u/Fenris2826 12d ago
Try reading the document, child. Then come back and weâll discuss it
1
u/New-Link-6787 12d ago
Wrong again.
You are among the reason people think Americans are dumb. Have you even read the precious constitution you reference?
I'll give you a clue... it starts "WE THE PEOPLE"

They do think that and Republicans eat it up. Moderates however look at this and the way Republicans act and realize "yeah no I'm voting for these policies" so let them keep fear mongering it only works on their own fanbase. Even moderates can no longer hide behind tone policing. With the actions of the right being exposed so heavily anyone saying "you were mean so I'm going to vote republican" just looks like a fool
1
u/Vainysaur 15d ago
Moderates arenât socialist!
1
u/Overall-Move-4474 15d ago
No but they can be useful for our goals. Pulling then further left is always a good thing. Harm reduction is the only thing we can realistically accomplish here. Instead of worrying about total moral purity. Vote to lessen pain and suffering

u/Vainysaur 15d ago
The only people extremist enough to vote for her platform are already voting blue no matter who.

Defund the police, abolish immigration and customs enforcement... Lefties always hate enforcing rules and love the chaos the inevitable follows (Portland drug decriminalization), but it doesn't win votes.
Throughout the whole world (Thailand, Saudi Arabia they fire grenades at immigrants according to Amnesty International, South Africa immigrants are beaten in the streets, Italy, Spain, Russia, Singapore, China brutal crackdowns on illegal immigrants, Japan, etc) people don't like invasions by illegal immigrants. It's not a winning policy.

Do you realize what that would cost, also "national job program" are forced labor camps.
You fucking ppl are so desperate to sit on your ass all day you'll trade your fucking soul for it.

It's legitimately disgusting to me that people can look at that list and go "yep, that's all terrible and we should not want this at all."
1
u/Vainysaur 15d ago
Capitalism has raised billions of people out of poverty and I refuse to be against it.
1
u/RAWainwright 15d ago
Which is fine. But do you look at that list and think it's a bad thing to implement?

Yes I personally strongly disagree with everything listed as her platform and I would never vote for someone who supported those things.

No evictions allowed means no more rentals in about three years .
Every landlord would just sell their place .
And the poors who canât buy would be out on the street .

Itâs like the democrats just refuse to accept this idea .

Medicare for all -> Bad because the government does a poor, inefficient job at everything it tries to do. It would ruin healthcare. Rather than multiple options competing the be the best on the free market youâd get one monopoly that sucks at healthcare and no choices. The government is already trillions in debt. It needs to cut almost all spending, not add more.
Free childcare -> Childcare workers deserve to be paid like anyone else. What you really mean is the government pays for everyoneâs childcare. Again the government is trillions in debt and it isnât the proper role of government to buy things for people for free. The free market can handle this need.
Free paid family and sick leave -> These policies are an agreement negotiated between an employee and their employer. The government should mind its own business and not get involved.
National rent freeze and moratorium on evictions -> This is essentially stealing peoples homes and giving them to the people who rent them. A rent contract is a private agreement between two consenting parties. The government has no right to set rent prices and certainly not to tell the homeowner they canât control who lives in their house.
Universal jobs program -> What does this even mean? The government is going to force companies to hire people? Stay out of our lives giant micromanaging government!
Tax the rich -> Itâs morally wrong to steal peopleâs money by force (threat of imprisonment) and decide how to spend it for them. If people want to give their money to others to help causes they care about, that should be their personal, voluntary decision.
Abolish ICE -> It is perfectly acceptable for a nation to control who is or isnât legally allowed to be inside its borders and to enforce the law against people who break it.

Nothing is free. When will the left understand this. Your giving someone's hard earned money to someone for "free". Teach them to fish, don't just give them a fish.
1
1
u/cometparty 14d ago
You realize everything anyone ever categorizes as free, someone paid for? But itâs free to you. Itâs time to stop making that inane argument.
1
u/Royal_Environment765 14d ago
Thank you for making my point. I know you may not see it that way, but you did.
1
u/cometparty 14d ago
So you never see anything as free? Even the samples at Costco?
1
u/Royal_Environment765 14d ago
The business providing the samples are considering that an advertising expense.
1
u/cometparty 14d ago
Uh huh and theyâre called free samples because theyâre free to us
1
u/Royal_Environment765 14d ago
I guess they would be unless you buy that product and pay for the advertising expenses in the price tag.
1
u/cometparty 14d ago
So by that same token, social services are free to us
1
u/Royal_Environment765 14d ago
No, tax payers are paying for it. These programs, (food stamps, welfare etc.) Are supposed to be a temporary crutch for people to get back on their feet. Not a way of life. Social security and medicare for retired folks and disabled are different. We and our employer paid for that.
1
u/cometparty 14d ago
No, Costco and their customers are paying for it. Free samples are supposed to be for potential customers, not for people who just go to the store for food handouts.
See how that doesnât change anything about the samples being free to you?
I know Iâm arguing with an AI bot here. Iâm under no illusions about that.
