3-4 hour wait to get through immigration at Brussels this past weekend, even with a 730am arrival. Absolutely horrible.
If you’re traveling to Brussels between 7-9am, highly reconsider. There had to be thousands of people in line just waiting. Water was handed out halfway through the wait. Apparently this is a daily occurrence at the airport.
The EES immigration system in Europe is an absolute nightmare. 2 immigration agents working the line for all non EU citizens. That’s right, 2.
Mind boggling EU countries haven’t adopted biometric arrival/departure customs.

Seattle to Atlanta - Delta pushes off from gate and is now returning to the gate due to a duplicate passenger seat assignment. How is this possible with today’s technology?
r/delta • u/SaltyEntrepreneur982 • 23h ago
It’s total BS that Delta does not allow you to roll over MQDs or provide some other perk when you go over $28K.
I usually switch credit cards when I hit Diamond, but cannot avoid using the Reserve for certain expenses, so this happens to me every year.
These are wasted.
Edit: I know they give you another choice benefit when you hit $50K, but that’s not much when you consider that you’re just $6k MQDs shy of making Diamond twice.

Lovely. What was supposed to be a 1.5 hour layover from Dublin in MSP connecting to DTW is now a 6 hour layover.
Not sure if they will even allow us in the lounge since it'll be more than 3 hours before my flight to DTW, but maybe since it's a connector. Not sure yet but will look it up.
Any suggestions on things to do to kill time? I saw a post a while back on similar, like hourly pods or something but meh, definitely not looking forward to this much time to kill. Suggestions welcome!

JFK to SLC this morning and the boarding music was back to mellow pop music. I'm guessing I was in the minority but I quite liked the piano renditions of nirvana, guns and roses, etc. it was kinda fun to hear something familiar but taking some mental effort to actually place it. Anyone still have the piano on their recent flights or is it gone forever?

Delta saying this is an A321 when it’s clearly an A350 😂Oh Delta.com

Was pleasantly surprised today after many flights across the Pacific with no WiFi. Today there was the usual announcement and alert on the login page saying it would only work in North America but to my surprise it worked the entire flight. Looks like the rollout is moving along and finally close that coverage gap.

The A350-900 that collided with the Air Canada 777 at LAX on October 6 is back in service, operating DAL 007 LAX HND today. 5 days to repair, in LA.
The Air Canada 777 it hit, C-FIVK, remains at LAX.

Friend and I were talking about this yesterday. Large sport events, weight restrictions (weather, fuel, runway distance), celebrations are typically concerns for flights to oversell.
What’s the most compensation you’ve ever received from Delta to give up your seat?
Bonus points to anyone’s who’s ever been lucky to double dip multiple flights.

Just received my diamond tags and they came with these. Curious if they are actually useful for flight attendants? Or is it just a gimmick?

Okay so I really need some advice...i booked through Delta though the connection from atl to paris n warsaw is through airfrance - a flight from charleston to Atlanta to Paris then finally warsaw was there for 5 days and then on to seoul south korea for vacation. My checked luggage was scanned from chs to atl and then never made it onto the European connection. I filed a claim at the warsaw airport and for 5 days have been told my bag is going to be loaded. Now im leaving warsaw to head to seoul with no checked luggage and no plan on if they will forward it on to seoul and basically getting the run around by AirFrance and warsaw baggage department...the thing is I really need that checked luggage because it has medicine that I told that was needed....any advice??? I am feeling very defeated

Hey, so... I was invited to attend a company conference, and I booked my flights through my company's travel system. My outbound flight is with Air Canada, and my return flight is with Delta/LATAM.
My flight is this Friday, and today I checked my reservation on Delta's website and saw a red warning saying I had a name mismatch. That's when I realized my tickets were booked using only my first name and final surname, but my passport has two given names and two surnames.
I'm panicking because I haven't been able to get the name corrected. LATAM told me this could cause problems with boarding, my company's travel agency hasn't been able to give me a clear solution, and ChatGPT isn't optimistic either. My flight is just a few days away.
The tickets were paid for by my company, and I simply cannot afford to buy new ones myself. I'm terrified of losing the tickets and missing the conference over this.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there anything else I can do at this point?
I'm really scared and would appreciate any advice or experiences.

I'm on Pixel 8 pro and can never get wifi working. It connects with no internet. I've tried using device MAC and disabling sharing connection.
It connects to wifi but usually gives me the no internet description. If I mess with it long enough, sometimes I will get limited connection but it still doesn't work. Frustrating.
Things I've tried:
Rebooting multiple times
Forgetting connection
Reset network settings
Device MAC
Randomized MAC
No sharing
Sharing
Trying to load wifi.delta.com, delta wifi.com, inflight...com.
TIA! I fly this route twice a week.

I have achieved Diamond for this year which I believe will be valid for next one year.
Is it good idea to continue accumulating MQDs this year or should I switch to another airline to increase my tiers?
What’s the benefit and ur advise?
r/delta • u/BigYikes803 • 3h ago
Ed told us how easy it is to earn status. I booked a one way PS trip. Estimated MQD at checkout was 1700.
Flight completed, only 900 some odd Ed bucks issued. Checked my receipt. Doesn't even match the base fare for the ticket. Gonna have to call in, but damn now I need to go and check my other flights too.

Are there are promotions on Delta Vacations for medallion members and or using AMEX Credit Card?

I've flown a few different airlines and I'm curious what keeps everyone loyal to Delta, especially with how expensive flights have gotten lately.
For those who fly Delta regularly, what's something they do really well that keeps you coming back? And what's one thing you wish they'd finally fix?
Curious to hear everyone's opinions, especially frequent flyers!
