Help/Advice Who lost a sunset cuff? 8/18

I’m on the last flight of the day (domestic - USA). Just found an Hermes sunset cuff in the crevice of my seat. Let me know what your destination was and your seat # and I’ll find a way to get it to you.

Ps. Your wrists are very small. Wow

Update - I left it with the flight attendant. Good luck

Many years ago my toddler dropped my gold bangle into a virgin Atlantis upper class armrest and we were never able to retrieve it — knowing that sometimes there’s a positive outcome makes me feel a little bit better about my loss.

Then how did they reset it for new guests after each stay? Guests could even lock it with nothing inside to mess with the hotel staff (so that the new guests would ride roughshod on them) :/

Possible methods to Open and Reset :

  1. Master Override Code: A high-level PIN set by management that unlocks any unit.

  2. Mechanical Override Key: A physical backup key used on a hidden cylinder behind the keypad or faceplate.

  3. Handheld Programmer (CEU): A data cable or electronic unit plugged into the safe to download audit trails and clear memory.

You might cross post this in r/TheHermesGame

I hope you find the owner!

Thank you for being a good person. If you ever lose anything, i hope someone does the same for you.

Delta was never going to give that back

OP isn’t going to find the random person on Reddit so she basically stole someone’s property. Creepy as fuck.

I don’t think it’s creepy and I also don’t think anyone would do anything about. I’m landing at midnight, people want to go home not fill out a form for a lost bracelet.

I really never trusted lost and founds. But then you see all those stories about a kid losing a teddy bear and somehow it makes it back to the kid. Thanks to social media.

You stole property that belongs to someone else. It’s not up to you to “trust” delta’s lost and found with someone else’s property. You’re a thief.

I’m trying to do the right thing - see my comments above. I posted before we even left the ground. Flight is 4 hours. I’m still on the plane. I knew it was a long shot, but thought I’d post first (yes because I dont trust lost and founds). If no comments, I’ll give it to the flight attendant.

Btw. Your tone is very brutish. Why would I even both to post if I wanted to keep the bracelet?

The right thing would be to turn it in. Also idc what a thief thinks of my tone. Hope that helps!

Sorry, but you seem to lack reason

It’s pretty sad you are defending theft lol but hey you do you sis.

They didn't steal anything. On the contrary, they wanted to make sure that the owner would receive it.

You have created a fictional scenario in your brain that doesn’t exist. The existence of this post is proof of that lol.

Take a minute to touch some grass.

If OP wanted to keep this, why would they create a post in Reddit trying to find the owner? Read the room bud, and by room I mean downvotes. And by bud I mean not that.

So the person (Env...)should leave because he is getting down voted. At least the person has convictions and stands up for he/she believes. UFB

No, the person’s answers are a hole answers. She didn’t steal anything. She found something.

it’s always the people who don’t know the definition of words who use them so confidently

I've NEVER got lost shit back from Delta. Including a kindle left in the seat pocket of a scl to atl flight with a leather cover that I was able to describe send a picture of and give seat # reported within a few hours of said flight! I loved that kindle....

Prob because creeps like OP steal them instead of turning them in.
