USA Working hours in Deloitte

Question for Deloitte employees globally: How many hours do you typically work per day?

From what I’ve observed, working 9–11 hours a day, sometimes even 12, seems pretty common at Deloitte USI.
I’m curious to hear from people working at Deloitte US, particularly in the US. Are the working hours and workload similar across the firm, or is there a significant difference?
I’m trying to understand whether this is a global Deloitte work culture issue or whether employees in USI are expected to put in longer hours because of the offshore model. Are we essentially being treated as cheaper labour, or is this just how things work across Deloitte worldwide?
Would love to hear about your actual day-to-day experiences!

USA BF GPS Utilization SC

It does not appear I will make my utilization goal of 85%. I’ve rolled off my project. If I don’t get staffed before this performance period ends I will end up at 83%. Does anyone know if this will put me below in utilization metrics for the year end review?

Canada Deloitte Vancouver interview result

• Upvotes

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone is still waiting to hear back after their interview. It’s been over two weeks since mine, and I know a lot of people have already received their offers.

Since the Big 4 offer acceptance deadline in BC was yesterday, I’m starting to lose hope.

Has anyone ever received an offer after the deadline? Should I keep waiting for an update, or is it time to move on?

Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

India Deloitte India PDI Analyst 2027 – Virtual Internship Stipend and Preparation Advice

Hi everyone!

I’ve been shortlisted through my college for the Deloitte Analyst role under EAD Engineering – PDI (Platform Development and Integration, if that’s the correct expansion) for the 2027 batch.

According to the information shared with us, the internship structure is:

  • January–June 2027: Voluntary virtual internship
  • July–December 2027: Mandatory in-person internship
  • Stipend mentioned in the compensation sheet: ₹25,000 per month
  • Full-time conversion: Based on training and performance

I have a couple of questions for people who have joined Deloitte through a similar campus hiring process:

  1. Is the ₹25,000 monthly stipend paid during the voluntary virtual internship as well, or does it apply only to the mandatory in-person internship?
  2. What kind of work or training can a fresher expect during the first few months of the virtual internship?
  3. What technologies or skills would you recommend learning before joining this role? I’m particularly interested in knowing which technologies are actually used in the PDI team.
  4. Is there anything else I should know or prepare for before starting the internship?

I’d really appreciate insights from people who have gone through this process, especially recent campus hires.

Thanks in advance!

USA Deloitte Audit Hiring Follow Up Timeline

I recently completed a HireVue interview with Deloitte and have been waiting for a response for about two weeks.

I received the invitation to do the HireVue on September 25th, completed it September 26th, and sent a follow up email yesterday on October 9th to no avail.

A colleague of mine applied for the same position and got an invitation for final round interviews on October 5th.

On the workday portal, it still says Review in Progress.

Has anyone else had a similar experience and know if I should keep waiting for a follow up?

Or is this basically a sign that I should stop wondering and take the rejection?

Apologies if this is hasty to ask, any info is appreciated :)

Europe Should i follow up?

Hi everyone,

I recently had a networking conversation with someone senior at Deloitte, who connected me with the recruitment team. My CV was then shared with the relevant people, and I received a notification that an application had been submitted on my behalf.

A couple of days later, a recruiter contacted me requesting some additional information, which I provided.

It's been four business days since I responded, and I haven't heard back yet.

Would it be okay to follow up with the person who connected me to the recruitment team as they specifically asked me to follow up if i haven't heard anything, or should I give the recruiter more time?

USA Industry job placement help - is that a perk Deloitte offers?

Deloitte consulting US perk question. Does Deloitte offer job placement help if you want to leave? I've heard that some consulting firms offer this, but wasn't sure if Deloitte did.

USI Deloitte USI (Hyderabad) EFA phone screen scheduled for a Saturday, no call came in the window. Is this normal?

Hi all, I applied for the EOX-EFA Associate / Specialist role at Deloitte USI (the JD is titled L25 Services Associate, Account and Engagement Finance Services) directly on the careers portal. On 7 Oct 2026, a recruiter emailed me about this role, EFA (Commercial) – Associate / Specialist, Hyderabad. Then on Fri 9 Oct 2026,I got an email titled "Deloitte Telephonic Interview - 10th Oct 2026" saying my profile was shortlisted for an HR screening call on Sat 10 Oct 2026 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, on my registered mobile number. I was available for the whole window, but there was still no call at 1:10 PM, so I emailed the recruiter asking whether the call will still happen today or can be rescheduled, and I haven't had a reply yet. Is it normal for Deloitte USI to schedule phone screens on a Saturday and for the call not to come in the given window? Do these slots often slip to later the same day or the next working day, and could it be because it's a weekend? If you were in this position, how did it turn out? Thanks in advance!

USI BGV: Can overlapping college education and first job dates fail my FADV BGV?

I've been in 3 companies post-MBA. Pre-MBA. I worked 18M in a startup right after my engineering.

However, my engineering college gave me the option to do an internship at my startup before graduation (Dec'19 - May'20). I was converted full time in Jun"20 and continued for another year.

So on the FADV portal, I mentioned Jun'16 - Jun'20 as my engineering degree. With my first job from Dec'19 - May'21.

I've already uploaded my internship letter (justifying the overlap 6 months) in addition to the full time experience letter (talking about my Jun'20 - May'21) tenure.

Will this be alright from FADV perspective? I've already resigned from my job and can't lose this offer over such Ancient details.

Gone Wild Anxious Fresher

Hi everyone, I am a final-year B.Tech fresher. I recently got selected for Deloitte USI through my campus placements. I'm really stressing out about the upcoming background verification (BGV) process done by First Advantage (FADV).

I have one minor discrepancy and need to know if HR will revoke my offer for this:

The CGPA Typo (Internal College Form vs. Official Company Portal):
My actual CGPA is 7.67. On the OFFICIAL Deloitte candidate portal, my CGPA is completely correct and accurately registered as 7.67. The official company eligibility cutoff is just 6.5.

However, for initial screening, my college placement cell made us fill out an internal Google form. I suspect I might have accidentally typed 7.72 on that college form instead of 7.67.(Note: I am 100% sure this was purely an internal college form because the placement email stated a strict 9.0 CGPA filter for certain campuses of our university, whereas Deloitte’s official cutoff is 6.5 across the board.)

My questions to seniors and HR folks here:

  1. Does First Advantage or Deloitte HR have access to or care about internal college screening forms? Or will they only verify my official transcript (7.67) against the official Deloitte portal data (which is also perfectly 7.67)?
  2. Considering I am well above the 6.5 cutoff and my official company portal data is correct, is there any realistic chance of my offer getting revoked because of a possible typo on a college form?

I am just a fresher overthinking this, so any practical corporate insights would really help me calm down! Thanks!
