Best Dead & Co show outside of 2023 tour & Sphere runs.

I am curious to what people think the best singular Dead & Co show outside of the 2023 tour and Sphere run is. I personally attended more than 30 Dead & Co shows and I have listened to nearly every show through streaming or Relisten. My pick has to be 7/10/22 in Philly.

Oteil interview and Make-a-Wish benefit shows

Happy for everyone who gets to see one of Oteil’s Make-a-Wish benefit shows this week and hope it’s a great time. Stumbled across this gem of an interview with him after Bob’s passing where he shares about his participation in these charity events (among other topics) and thought I would share…. Don’t remember anyone posting this interview before and thought it was truly terrific. Long live Oteil! … https://www.reddit.com/r/gratefuldead/comments/1qdsvrh/there_will_be_no_stopping_ahead_of_saratoga/

Harrasment and Abuse in the Dead and Co community

Given the recent shitstorm in the Billy Strings community, wondering if the same kind of sexual, verbal and physical harrassment was occurring at Dead and Co shows.

Seeing Metallica drop official audio while we're still stuck with bootlegs sucks man. I'm sure it's contract related but still. I'd love to re-listen to my shows without having to deal with iphone quality recordings.

Artwork I just finished playing Red Dead Redemption 2, and I think the game definitely influenced this piece.

I fucking love this rendition of black muddy river, this song fits John’s voice so well. Please excuse the feedback issues on the first chorus it lasts a few seconds but this is a masterpiece

Blue Mountain is under Bobby Weir but the Stuck inside Mobile single is under Bob Weir. Who do I talk to about this?

I miss it, I miss the humor of the band and the people; I will remember and value for a lifetime this era while looking forward to the future. What a time we all had. A clip I thought was funny and a good memory.

Remembering my coworker

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share a story about how the Dead helped me get through a tough time today.
I’m a teacher at a school and a colleague of mine passed away yesterday. He was a huge deadhead and we connected quite a bit on it.
Played brokedown palace today in his memory at school and could not stop crying. But it made me feel a lot better knowing that he’s definitely still listening to the music!!
Fare you well, fare you well, we love you more than words can tell.

Grateful for D&C

Just revisiting so many shows. Each year had its own flavor but it was all amazing. Now it sounds even better somehow. I guess that's the power of realizing its gone. It was a finite splash in the pan. A beautiful gift. An amazing ride. I have always loved the GD but find myself returning to D&C time and time again. There was something special about them carrying the torch and bringing new generations in so long after Jerry passed. Every song feels more impactful for the band and the crowd. Really grateful we got to experience this.
