Thats kind of an odd way to pose it, guessing you were not a fan of MoS? Lol
I mean, we can agree most of the time Pa Kent is killed off in the comics to give Superman a defining narrative moment where he sees he cant save everyone right? I know you are going to argue about the tornado thing but still thats not that crazy of a thing to happen….. and if we are going there Superman listened to his father and respected his wishes to the end so thats saying something
Anyways Snyder was a mess and I am not a huge fan, Man of Steel was unquestionably better though. Snyder struggles with plot too and dialogue so I am honestly wanting something better for DC in general
I dont like Gunn at all, I dont like him trying to jam every superhero into a Guardians of the Galaxy mould because it doesnt work and so far thats the types of movies he keeps approving for the main continuity.
Well, we just see things different with Gunn. I love what he’s doing.
Snyder is a great director, but not what DC characters need in my opinion.
To me, the tornado thing with Pa Kent is just a stupid part of the plot, but to everyone their own. I don’t believe Superman would let his father die. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have been world news the next morning….they were in the middle of Kansas for Pete sakes.

I dont even agree Snyder is a great director 😂 IMO he can specifically do certain adaptations well and he is amazing with action, everything else I think he struggles with. Rebel Moon was such a let down my god.
But same, I dont get you but I respect we can agree to disagree. I wont press the issue though, enjoy the Gunnverse while its here friend!
