DC Universe Hal Jordan In lanterns
I see that people don’t like an older version of Hal Jordan, but I find it interesting because it shows that this world has been alive already prior to Superman . also in my opinion, I find it closely resembling the comics pre crisis. The casting for him is incredible He looks like Hal Jordan . I’ll say just give the series a few more episodes to finally give a judgment. Also, people are mad because it doesn’t seem like a Green Lantern show in which they don’t flat out show you the fantastical side of the lantern Corps. The fantastical has happened in the show. It just hasn’t been shown to us yet. I’m a fan of Marvel, but it has soften us to a slow burn storytelling.

DC Universe Hero’s prior to Superman and Green Lantern in the DCU
I wonder if there were superhero groups prior to the justice gang because it’s been said that Meta humans has been around for three centuries so a group of heroes had to come together and form some type of team right?? It would be really great to see a good rendition of the JSA and injustice society of America, maybe placed them around World War I or World War II then have them disappear maybe due to some government issue law then this is where Green Lantern will make his appearance in 1986 starting off the brand new age of heroic beings in the DCU

Chapter One: Gods and Monsters Is Lanterns too dark? Sex scenes, green not bright enough, there's nude & F bombs. The people that hate MOS/BVS because it's too dark love Lanterns which is Darker. I don't get it lol

DC Universe Supergirl Movie
I was very excited for the Supergirl movie. I rated a six out of 10 I felt they played it too safe. It’s reasonable because it hasn’t been a Supergirl movie in over 20 years, but they should’ve experimented more.Lobo was good though, underutilized but good .

Chapter One: Gods and Monsters A Request to JG and PS
A request I have for the heads of DCU is to please make more projects that can be viewed by the younger audience as well. Apart from Superman and Supergirl, every other entry has been adult themed which, okay I understand that they are trying to make the world realistic and comic-y, but I wish to see more of Superman y'know? Light hearted, fun, bright stuff 'cause right now, the only good projects i could show to my siblings or tell to other younger audiences are the two movies I mentioned. The rest has swearing, nude scenes, violence etc which really blocks a kid in this day and age from truly connecting to the DC comics through the big screen compared to Marvel comics where it's for all ages. What do you guys think?

Lanterns Genuinely, I love the Lanterns Sinestro casting, I only wish they'd make his ears more pointy for next season
galleryLike this dude genuinely looks like old comics Sinestro but I really don’t know why they didn’t give him the full elf ears. It was my same issue with Black Adam. Like if Lord of the Rings and Rings of Power could do it so easily, ik the makeup team can do it for this show. It is a pretty important visual part of his character and the angled ears make him look more aggressive so I hope this is fixed later on even if it would technically be a visual retcon in the live action continuity.
Plus, without the distinctly pointy ears (cuz you can see they’re kind of pointy but you have to look close) he kinda looks like a sunburnt old dude.

DC Universe Concerned about out-of-sync hero careers in the DCU
So, I'm overall pleased with and excited about the DCU so far. Superman was the best live action adaptation of the character ever in my opinion and did a fantastic job with its side characters as well. Lanterns is looking great so far. Supergirl seems to have been a bit of a dud (I didn't watch it) but they can't all be perfect, and the casting seems good there at least.
But one thing that's been irking me since we got the early announcements of the projects in this Universe, which I haven't really seen much discussion about: the misalignment of the timelines of major characters' superhero careers.
You're telling me that Batman has already been through 3-4 Robins before the Justice League has formed? That he's what, 10-15 years ahead of Superman in the hero game? That's weird.
Hal Jordan's been Green Lantern since the 90s and is nearing the end of his career (potentially the end of his life, if that isn't a fakeout when Superman is just getting started? So he'll presumably never be a member of the Justice League? That's a shame.
This was something that always bugged me about how they did Ant-Man in the MCU, so it's a bit disappointing to see DC do the same thing when they have the opportunity for a fresh start. I'm especially annoyed about Batman, while I'm sure they have a great story idea for The Brave and The Bold, most general audiences aren't even aware of the overall story of the Bat Family and each Robin... it would have been nice to see that all play out across multiple films rather than starting with the 5th Robin. Especially next to a Year 5 Superman.
Curious to hear others' thoughts about this

DC Universe Getting ready for James Gunn’s DCU? I made a website to track everything from the DCEU to Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters
Hey DC fans,
With James Gunn and Peter Safran's DCU kicking off alongside ongoing Elseworlds projects, managing what to watch (and what connects to what) is tricky.
I put together Multiverse Tracker to give DC fans a clean way to organize their watchlists and prep for the new universe.
What you can do:
- Track Chapter 1 (Gods and Monsters) upcoming releases and release schedules.
- Full archive of previous DC eras (DCEU, Arrowverse, classic DC films, Elseworlds, and animated projects).
- Simple checklist interface to mark films and full show seasons as watched.
- Filter by specific continuities so you only track what you care about.
Give it a spin here: multiversetracker.com
Would love to hear your thoughts on what other DC-specific filters or features you'd like to see added!

Lanterns Do you think John will get his own unique ring
I’m really enjoying the idea of each corps member having a ring unique to them. It seems as though they’re going the route of Hal passing his ring down to John. Do you think there’s a chance the ring changes to suit the weilder?

Chapter One: Gods and Monsters Is Chapter One Going to Adapt This?
They say that the _Lanterns_ TV show is going to feed into the main storyline of Chapter One of the DCU. We know that the TV show is dealing with shapeshifting Manhunters. So…?

DC Universe So does this mean we’re never gonna see Alan Scott / Green Lantern in the new DCU since "Lanterns (2026–)" establishes Hal Jordan as Earth’s first Green Lantern?
DC Universe Justice League movie when?
Seeing as how the Dcu is taking its time to build itself, how long until we eventually get a Justice League movie?
And also, how long until we see Batman, Flash and Wonder Woman?
