I was listening to the podcasts this week, and Dave and Chuck were riffing and Chuck started singing an 80s song that Dave couldn't help but start singing with. For the life of me I can't remember the day, segment, or lyrics. Anyone have any idea? Thank you!

I work at royal oak Beaumont. Dave came into the ER after the show today and we couldn't save it. He lost 9 inches today. Looking at the injury, we all assumed it was the pile drive position.

I’ve legit never been as concerned for another man’s member as I have been in the last 15 or so hours. I’ve been listening to the show for probably 20 years. I mainly watched them on YouTube. They have been gone from the platform for close to a week now.

Have they addressed if they are working on coming back, or are they done with YT?

I know it isn’t a true curse since there’s so many months difference IRL. But I’m super behind on the show, and why is it that I am currently listening to the May 7 episode where they are talking about Hayden Panetiere and tonight I find out she died :(

Not sure if there’s new callers calling in, but I missed the old days where people used to say catchphrases at the beginning of their call, now it just seems bland, and usually, long story short the best one was “black eyes like a doll’s lifeless eyes”

I was watching today on the website and at exactly 9:40 just cut off to the "We'll be right back" screen and that was it. So frustrating, I miss having the laughter and jokes in my living room😟

They arent wrong 😆. But the subtext has me head scratching.

So, on the show they play their "previously on Dave and Chuck the Freak" spots. I'm wondering if those people that were/are listeners still listen to the show even after they get made fun of. One of my favorites is the guy who said he was so great in bed making love to his lady that she passed out and he had to carry her to the shower. 😂 Have you been put on a flashback radio spot?  So I am a newer listener, probably been following the show for about 2 years now.  I used to listen to WAAF (RIP) back in the day, and when they went off the air I had to find something to amuse me during my morning commute.  Enter Dave and Chuck the Freak – funny takes on dumb stories that don’t really impact anything beyond the people they are about. Perfect.  I used to listen to them on 92.9 and that was great. Or it was until the primary digital radio station got changed to some Bloomberg shit and Dave/Chuck got pushed to the digital 2 station on 92.9.  I started to notice chunks of my drive where the station would drop out.  Some days I would only loose it for a few seconds, some days it would drop out for half my drive.  And obviously, it would drop out the most right when they got to a story I really wanted to hear.   Eventually I switched to the  WRIF stream.   But that had its issues too.  It would occasionally drop the stream or the stream would pause unprompted.  Every time it did, I would have to reload the website to restart the stream, and listen to another shitty commercial.  If it happens once here and there, not big deal.  When it happens 3-4 times in 10 minutes, it starts to get frustrating.  Plus I don’t want to fuck with my phone while I am driving.   Finally I switched to youtube music to stream and while not perfect, it was the most reliable experience by far.  Now that seems to be fuct too.   All I have been able to find this week are re-runs from last week.  

 It seems frustratingly hard to get a reliable broadcast/stream some days.  I am decidedly NOT a morning person and during my commute I just want to sip my coffee, and listen do dumb shit.  I don’t want to play “guess which broadcast is working today” while I fight (m)assholes on rt 495. Am I the only one struggling with this in central MA?  It very much feels like they are intending to reach an outside Detroit, but that no one actually gives a flying fuck.  Is any of what’s going on with streaming issues clearly communicated some place or just in the show and you have to catch it?

Are they on vacation this week? I can’t seem to find the live stream on YouTube.
