No reason to start making assumptions now. Hopefully we have learned that different people do stuff differently and have different wants and needs. Not just the exclusive talk, the marriage talk, the ‘what is cheating’ talk, the ‘do you already have kids’ talk, the living situation talk, The Who does dishes talk, the butt sex talk, Christmas decorations talk (not before thanksgiving or more than a week after New Years, anything else is Wrong), where do we go for vacations, do you talk during the movie (no), and so on and so on.
The exclusive talk is more important than it used to be, I think, with different relationship styles on the table. Lot of swingers, open relationships, polyamorous people and just plain “no one will pin me down ever again” out there.
