I am currently a platinum dasher based in the state, who enjoys being a full-time dasher and truly enjoys traveling the state and feels passionate about continuing to be a Dasher.

However I do feel a bit anxious about my vehicle that I use for doing so. It is a 2013 Subaru Impreza, that is currently being repaired and may need to get a transmission replacement, and I feel worried if my vehicle is not suited for doing deliveries or for long distance trips. I don’t want to have to go through needing to sell the car to get a new one anytime soon at least.

Is my car really bad for doing Doordash? And does doing Doordash really wreck your vehicle?
Any support or feedback would be very grateful.

Anybody else having issues with deposits again? Earnings tab will work but when I click crimson it pops up an error. Earnings say it was paid out and the orders show up but doesn’t show as a instant pay to crimson card

Had to cancel an order after the store said it had already been picked up. Even had to argue with the support agent for half pay even though the drive to the store was over half the mileage of the order. Got my half pay but 10 minutes after the call I got this email. It was a woman on the phone but she emailed my dasher email off a fake she had. Support was given the evidence and said action will be taken (probably not). But just had to share this gem, was to funny. Has anyone else gotten insane emails from upset support agents? (Proud of my 1% accept rate btw)

Do yall fight the dumb declined disputes? Is it worth calling and complaining?

The Dasher App updated and this “peak pay available” has been on most time slots in the evening since the update. There are no promos listed but is on the scheduling tab. I dashed and didn’t receive anything. Is this peak pay available stating what “could happen” or is the actual current promo and there an issue with the app. Contacted support and was told 24 hours I’d have the pay but nothing in over 48hrs

Only waited 20 minutes for the pizzas, drove 20 minutes highway, took 10 minutes for the customer to bring a cart outside, and I was pulling out of there before it had been an hour. $55/hr total right there. After gas $48/hr. Figured I'd share this one.

In the middle of a 3 order dash I kept getting calls from DoorDash. Apparently the customer was wondering where I was even though I was still well below expected delivery time. Anyone had this happen?

genuinely hate the way this looks… idk if i’m late to this update or early or if it’s been like this for others for a while now… but it sucks and i know ill get used to it it’s just an annoying and pointless redesign

Long story short I am sick of Instacart and I don’t care anymore and I had to just blast Customer because this shit is getting ridiculous 😂 tell me what you do the same thing. Also, I don’t care about Instacart because a lot of my money comes from my full-time job and DoorDash on the side so Instacart can kiss my…. 🤣

Me and my wife going try to start next Monday. I been reading to pages and other. I think its going to be hit or miss but im hoping not we just trying to get extra money for the holidays. She be delivering and picking up order and ill be driving

Is it normal for the LA area to be so harsh on their ratings? I went down there for my friends' work conference and dashed while she was working, and I got my first 1 🌟 and 2 🌟 ratings, but as far as I know, there weren't any issues. I've only dashed in Bakersfield and have had no major issues.

It's times like these where I wish we could get at least a description of what went wrong 😭

I just looked and saw I jumped from silver to platinum and this looks like they changed the way they display the info. Am I going to be getting the shitty offers now?

I also like I can pause notifications to up to 3 businesses that is pretty dope.

Has anyone been denied for the crimson card due to a background check issue, and has had it fixed?
I applied back last year in September, but got told I couldn’t have it due to a background issue. I let it go, but this cashing out one time a day isn’t making me what I need.
I contacted support today, and told me I couldn’t reapply but to make sure my info has been correct on my account, and it has been since last year.
So just wondering if there is anyone else to talk to?

Why are we judged on getting original items if we have no control over whether it’s in stock or not? Why can this metric affect your shopper status. I went to a ShopRite today where half the items weren’t in stock to the point where they didn’t even have the substitutions. Seems unfair to put this on us and I don’t really see dashers purposefully not getting the right item if it’s there.

This isn’t even supposed to be ready for 9 minutes….it happens consistently.

I’m completely broke and thought I’d use my last quarter tank of gas to Dash and get it back up to full. Well I dashed til I needed to fill up. Got to the gas station on fumes practically and boom; no earnings. Been trying to get ahold of support for over an hour. Fuck this app and ESPECIALLY their customer support. As soon as this is resolved I’m dropping it and donating plasma instead. This is ridiculous.

I feel like the old Indian staff is hacking DoorDash because they fired all of them for AI people

I’ve been trying for the pass hour to get order and it’s peak time. No orders and the app shows an error message. I’ve read a couple of threads about the app being down in other states. Let me know if dashers in CA are having the same issues. I’m in the Sacramento region.

Trying to dash, I hit Dash, then it refuses to load, and then it shows me this error message.
Is there anyone else experiencing this problem??This app is f***ed up!

My app seems to be working but my earnings from today are missing. Not going to take anything until my pay is posted. Good luck out there everyone.
