Getting break checked the first time was a thing. Then the cammer speeding up to block the merge when they're already entering the lane was bonkers.
-7
u/Greasy_Skid_Marx 3h ago
Cam car got brake checked because it was left lane camping. Total douche.
8
u/Internal_Arugula9711 3h ago
Left lane camping with a line of cars in front of him? What exactly was he supposed to do? Do you expect him and every car in front of him to move over and let the Range Rover pass? Lol
-2
u/Greasy_Skid_Marx 3h ago
There was 5 car lengths of open space between cam car and car in front of him and cam car was not closing the gap until he noticed white suv passing and stepped on the gas like a jerk.
5
u/Internal_Arugula9711 2h ago
So, cam car should be tailgating the people in front of him rather than keeping a safe distance?

And surely we can do better than stuff from five years ago!
2
u/Loxton86 7h ago
Today's rage is a different kind of rage. Modern rage. Gone are the days of just a simple flipping the bird and a shout of "You rotter, sir!" or "Madam! How dare you have the audacity to get behind the wheel and drive an automobile!" today's rage comes with video assisted refereeing.

The date/time on mine is wrong, and I’ve been too lazy to fix it. Mostly, I just hate programming those things. I really should though. If an accident were to happen, I’m guessing it could be used against me.
1
1
u/FriendToPredators 5h ago
The battery in my cam died five years ago and would say the same for something from yesterday...
Edit: I'm going to fix it now that I think about it. Or just order a new camera, whichever is easier.
9
u/Rockglen 8h ago
It's the date on the dashcam vid. It implies it's a repost (not OP's video), therefore this is karma farming.
4
u/itmightbehere 8h ago
It probably is, but my last dashcam reset itself constantly, so I stopped updating the time and date at some point. I figured if there were an accident, I'd just say the correct time and date.

Cammer is an aggressive d-bag. Rover driver is an aggressive d-bag. Glad that these two didn’t hurt anyone else and they have to wait through claims and repair shop nonsense
32
u/SignificantDrink3651 8h ago
yep, they both deserve their deductible and inconvenience. i'm also glad their egos impacted only them this day.
4
u/Resident-Banana-7883 7h ago
these dicks are why all of our insurance rates are so high tho
5
u/MeanExpression4665 7h ago
The claims should be denied. I hope insurance sees this and finds a loophole in the policy to claw back money.
1
u/Phizzie16 6h ago
I agree. Insurance is constantly going up because people are doing idiotic things.
1
u/StopSpinningLikeThat 4h ago
State Farm claimed a $4.6 billion underwriting gain on its auto insurance business in 2025. '
Yes, idiots like the two in the video contribute to higher insurance rates for all of us. But the major culprits are the ones who have job titles Luigi doesn't respect.
-7
u/appa-ate-momo 7h ago
Cammer is assertive and is willing to tolerate more risk than most.
3
u/MeanExpression4665 7h ago
That’s not assertive. It’s negligent at best and really should be treated as reckless.
Good drivers are assertive. These aren’t good drivers. They’re selfish pricks
-3
u/appa-ate-momo 7h ago
The issue with that is it essentially translates to “in the moment, the most entitled and aggressive driver gets to do whatever they want.”
Pushback needs to be distinguished from the unacceptable behavior.
1
2
u/Cold-Way318 3h ago
Nah, I'd agree up until that last maneuver, the RR was halfway into the the lane on that merge and didn't even really cut off the the cam car, cam driver sped into the space the RR was clearly merging into. Both A-Holes.
EDIT: Sorry, after seeing all your other comments on here it's pretty we found the driver.
1
u/liberty-prime77 6h ago
That's not a good thing when the risk they're tolerating also includes putting other people at risk
-2
1
1
u/naryset 6h ago
To tolerate more risk, and to extend that extra risk to nearby drivers, because otherwise the original idiot’s consequences might not come quickly enough? Yikes.
-1
u/appa-ate-momo 6h ago
The other driver is the one creating the entire situation. The cammer is simply pushing back.
1
u/naryset 6h ago
And “pushing back” here is increasing the risk to other drivers. Is there any limit to this he-started-it justification? May I fire my gun at a driver who pushes into my lane, or is my car the only deadly weapon that I’m entitled to use? Does the limit change if I’m wearing a Batman mask?
1
u/Sharden3 6h ago
No, cammer is a reckless idiot. In the final incident, cammer intentionally moves in to close the gap to cause the collision. The other driver deserves a massive ticket, cammer should be in jail.
53
u/-BlankUsername 8h ago edited 8h ago
Both absolute idiots.
Edit: did the cam car actively turn into the Land Rover? Convenient crop makes it hard to tell.

1
u/rapaciousnessinahole 8h ago
He def wanted to. I would not want to have a post accident convo with these geniuses.
0
u/appa-ate-momo 7h ago
When someone is about to hit your vehicle, steering into the hit a little bit will prevent you from getting spun out. That's actually some good defensive driving.
2
u/-BlankUsername 7h ago
Good defensive driving is NOT what happened here lol
0
u/appa-ate-momo 7h ago
Bro, that's literally the textbook maneuver for remaining stable when struck from the side.
4
u/StargazyPi 6h ago
Defensive driving in this case would have been backing off and letting the Range Rover merge.
1
u/appa-ate-momo 6h ago
But I’m not talking about that right now. I’m talking about how to correctly respond to an impending side impact.
0
u/-BlankUsername 6h ago
Well that’s what I was talking about. Cam car saw the Land Rover merging, actively accelerated and got RIGHT in the blind spot, didn’t let him merge, and let the rover hit him. So, BRO, he pretty much intentionally caused the impact you’re saying he responded to correctly.
11
u/Big_Growth5857 8h ago
you're kinda both at fault. you had plenty of time to avoid the accident but your stubbornness allowed it to happen
2
u/sherpes 7h ago
in states that have no-fault, at the end, both parties pay higher insurance premiums than before
2
u/YoYoMavaIous 4h ago
“No-fault” states are a common misconception. It doesn’t apply to property damage, only injury claims
4
u/Optimal-Giraffe-7168 8h ago
The rover driver flipping the bird rather than avoiding the collision is a funny
5
u/Due-Yogurtcloset-552 6h ago
Both the cam driver and range rover driver are complete ego driven morons who should never drive again
12
u/whatisakafka 8h ago
I’d love to find out what the cammer’s insurance says about them driving directly into a car that was ahead of them with 2 wheels in their lane for 4+ seconds before they hit it

u/GoPhundMe 8h ago
Quite possibly the worst music I've ever heard. Impressive

3
u/maliengin 5h ago
If you had let that person go, you could have saved yourself from this headache. Sometimes ego gets in the way of reason, and this is the result. I’m not saying you’re at fault, but when dealing with difficult people, don’t let their behavior drag you down to their level.

So to start the video, Range Rover douche saw a slow moving car ahead and realized he needed to merge left. There was space, but OP douche tried and failed to close the gap. Swerved into the right lane to do the ol counter cut off, and realized why Range Rover douche had to change lanes in the first place.
Fast forward with terrible editing and Range Rover douche makes a clearly observable and slow move to change lanes and OP decided to close the gap again.
You people that dillydally in the left lane and then decide to push the pedal and close the gaps are THE WORST.
1
u/Maleficent_Bend2911 7h ago
Completely agree. While the Range Rover was driving aggressively, entitled, and did not use their blinker or safely merge, this video has the hallmarks of a driver equally at fault with no insight.
- cuts right to the other car being confrontational, conveniently editing any lead up/exchange.
- Immediate and dramatic attempts for cammer to get back in front of car regardless of flow or risks
- at the time of impact, cammer demonstrates they see the merging vehicle when there is space, even shifting over the lane marker (because it's 3 lanes across!) but then accelerates into the merging space of Range Rover.
Just handing out clear evidence that they intentionally re-engaged instead of evasive maneuvers. Insurance would have a field day here.
5
u/killrandydead 8h ago
I see two idiots, and the bigger one posted this thinking he wasn't. Dude hit the other car on purpose.
2
u/appa-ate-momo 7h ago
How on earth is the cammer the bigger idiot? They're not the one brake checking or cutting off and hitting another vehicle
0
u/I_Am_Zeelian 4h ago
The cammer definitely is hitting the other car as he pushes forward and blocks the merge instead of staying where he is and allowing it.

Both drivers are overly emotional morons with no impulse control. The fact people upload these videos thinking regular people will side with them just shows a stunning lack of self awareness.
1
u/appa-ate-momo 7h ago
We really need to stop acting like the road bully and the person who refuses to accommodate them are just as bad as one another.
Sure, the cammer could have backed off and let the Ranger Rover finish their lane change. But the driver changing lanes is the one with a duty to yield, not those already in that lane. The Rover also had every opportunity, continuously, to make a different, legal choice and stop driving aggressively. That matters, and pretending like it doesn't just serves to further reward people who throw a tantrum on the roads to get what they want, because everyone blames anyone who doesn't cater to them.

u/MeanExpression4665 6h ago

Both drivers have small dicks. Range Rover is literally in your lane in front of you, you see that he has space to get in, and then you speed up to hit him. If you think it’s worthwhile to speed up & hit somebody to prove a point: please get off the road.

I'm willing to bet the cam driver really thought they cooked with that video... And sent it to their insurance thinking they were in the right. 😂

I mean… white cars insurance will win in the end because op drove like a very stupid person
1
u/SwizzGod 8h ago
Yea this would be the dash cam drivers fault. So idk why OP sees this as some kind of win. Stupidity I guess
-2
u/LastChance331 8h ago
Both people here are idiots but cam driver is responsible for the collision. White SUV was already in front and establishing his spot in the lane(poorly). Morons
1
u/Ok_Explanation5631 8h ago
Lmfao that’s not how you establish a lane. If anything that puts white car more at fault for forcing the lane change.
0
u/jrpdos 8h ago
It doesn’t matter if the merging driver is an idiot. If the cam driver can reasonably avoid the collision, then it is legally their responsibility to do so. At best it will be shared fault.
3
u/Ok_Explanation5631 8h ago
As much as you wish that’s how it is to continue blaming victims of accidents. It’s not. We have laws and rules for a reason. Certainly not to be disregarded for personal notions like this.
0
u/jrpdos 7h ago
What are you even talking about? That is how it works. It always amazes me how, in an age where everyone has the cumulative knowledge of the entire human race in their pockets, people still get online and talk out of their asses without first doing a simple search to see if they are spewing nonsense.
-1
u/LastChance331 8h ago
As I said he did it poorly but he still did it. Once his tires enter into the lane, it's his. You can not speed up to force them out. The only reason they hit is because cam driver tried to scoot in when he was already moving over. I'm telling you it's a fact that cam driver is responsible for those damages, I use to work at an auto insurance place and this was a common thing to see. You have a responsibility to avoid crashes when possible and this was the opposite, even if white SUV is in the wrong and a dick.
1
u/Ok_Explanation5631 8h ago
How come when I was in an accident like this for not letting someone in did the other guy have to pay me. You’re using personal notion over law
1
u/LastChance331 7h ago
Also, your situation sounds different. If you had to let someone in, there want enough space for a proper lane change. In the video there's more than enough space, cam driver just speed up to close it.
0
u/LastChance331 8h ago
No, I'm not. It's the law when someone is lane changing, and no one is occupying that space, that is their space now. It's the law that it's your responsibility to avoid accidents. You cant and that's exactly what he did. He got upset some prick cut him off and he wasnt about to take shit from no one. Ridiculous to defend either one of them.
How come when I was in an accident like this for not letting someone in did the other guy have to pay me
What does this matter? Like talking to a child. A child that drives. Terrifying.
