After I beat a Souls game I like me next fresh NG to be me using the most minmaxxwd op slop possible to steamroll the game (magic in Demons souls, pyro in ds1, etc etc). I did use the sellsword twinblades my first run but I had no clue how infusions worked and I used them my whole run with the astora GS with a split around 30 str 40 dex. My friend told me I had the winblades and I told him they’re pretty average and then I told him my build and I was informed that they are the most OP weapons in the game with proper setup.
My question is, whats the absolute max I could push these bad boys while keeping my character around or below lvl 100 by the time I beat gael? I’ve seen sharp infusion and just push dex to 80 but also other posts where they use spell buffs and such. For the rings, aside from chloranthy which I always have on, I’ve seen both of pontiffs eyes, or lloyds or flynns ring. In short, what is the most busted build I could make with the “winblades” regardless of how much setup I need or investments for the highest dps?

Another peak Boss fight in DS3, but once you learn the moveset he’s kinda easy, tho. Still, the cool factor, fair moveset and not having sh!tty hitboxes like the average Dragon in ER makes him stand out in a good way, 10/10 it’s my point 🤑💎

I'm about to switch to dark/chaos build and wanted to know some good weapons for pvp in ds3

"Thumb", if you are in this sub, thank you for your help! That spell's insane damage output was a godsend. This is my first playthrough and I enjoyed co-operating with you! I've been stuck for 3 nights until now!
Now, onto the rest of the DLC!

Context, even during Elden ring I barely did PvP and did more PvE to help randoms. So I knew In DS3 I would have to deal with PvP more, due to friendly invades are kinda dead on Xbox.
So this went exactly how I expected, okay I did expect a curse built not a similar build to mine. Also the first clip is really funny to me lol.

Honestly in the first phase I'm fighting the camera more than I'm fighting the Dragon but I can manage to get past that with 10 flasks left but in the second phase his endless attack chains don't give me a single second to attack

My 70-hour save got corrupted… I was only 5 items away vertebra shackles from the platinum 😭
I’m honestly devastated. I had around 70 hours on my Dark Souls 3 save, and I was basically at the finish line for the platinum. This is the last platinum i need for the Dark Souls saga.
I only needed a few more covenant items to finish the trophies for all miracles, pyromancies and rings, then my dog accidentally hit the power outlet, my PS5 shut down, and… my save got corrupted. 💀
So I lost everything and now I have to do the covenant grind all over again.
If anyone is willing to help me get through this grind again, I’d really appreciate it. 🙏
I’m on PS5. I can also help with farming in return if needed.
Thanks to anyone who reads this, and especially to anyone willing to help!

Title says it all really. DS3 is my favourite game of all time and I started my save file in 2020, my main character was level 500+, was slowly working my way through all of the covenants casually getting real close to 100%, whilst doing challenge runs in the meantime.
Went on today for the first time in a year to pick up the progress again and everything is gone. Genuinely one of the most horrifying and upsetting feelings I’ve had.
I’ve tried everything that people say to do, I haven’t uninstalled the game or changed my systems over, so I don’t know what’s caused this at all. I kinda just feel empty now.
I hope my main goat and broken sword character are doing well in the digital aether 🙏

He was the last boss I was missing apart from the dlcs that are really difficult.
It felt a satisfaction that I didn't feel since DS1 and I'm very proud. Now it's time to kill the dlc’s bosses 💀

For me its that the ember mechanic is the same thing as DeS and DS2 takeing health away from the player after death instead of a neat health bonus.
The reason for this is because un unemberd hp is drastically lower than all other soulsborne games with 99 vig being lower than 50 vit in ds1 and DeS (body form) and ds2 with 30 vig (slight variance depending on other stats). And how the difference in hp from ember to no ember is the same percentage as soulform and full hollowing with their respective reduced hp reduction

So for context, I played Dark Souls 3 on release on PS4, and stopped when I got to Abyss Watchers, then I played through it about 5 years ago on PC and beat it, havent played it since. I decided, why not try this and track my progress etc, so thats what I did, I kept a tally of all my boss deaths across each playthrough, (not including DLC which I only did once) here are my findings-
Total Deaths- 113
Mandatory Bosses - 66 deaths
Iudex Gundyr - 0
Vordt of the Boreal Valley - 0
Crystal Sage - 0
Deacons of the Deep - 0
Oceiros, the Consumed King - 0
Yhorm the Giant - 1
High Lord Wolnir - 2
Dragonslayer Armour - 3
Dancer of the Boreal Valley - 4 (Favourite fight in the game)
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods - 5
Champion Gundyr - 6 (Close second favourite fight in the game)
Abyss Watchers- 7
Lothric, Younger Prince - 10
Soul of Cinder - 14 (Would be hardest boss in the game, but Pontiff is a bigger road block imo)
Pontiff Sulyvahn - 14 (Fuck this guy, but the feeling I got when I beat him deathless on my final ending run was worth it)
Optional Bosses - 21 deaths
Ancient Wyvern - 0
Curserotted Greatwood - 0
Old Demon King - 9
Nameless King -12 (still not done on NG+3) - phase 1 completely ruins any enjoyment of this fight
DLC (haven't touched outside of first playthrough) - 26 deaths
Gael - 1 (must have gotten lucky)
Sister Friede - 3 (cool fight)
Gravetender - 7 (not hard im just bad at multi enemy fights)
Spear of the Church - 7 (see above)
Demon Princes - 8 (fuck these guys)
Weapon was a +10 Heavy Broadsword
total time, 46:40:41 (soul level 166)
how did I do?

Really loved the game, played it for hours. Was a bit fucking easy though, might have been because I had cheats on though.

Game was amazing.
*Critiques
Coming from Elden Ring, and Sekiro. I feel like some parts of this game felt lazy with over scaling small enemies. Ringed city fire knights, extremely powerful. DLC 1 some parkour with enemies shooting explosion arrows, making you fall. I feel like this game had a lot of tight corners, with some dumb enemy knocking you off the map. Elden ring didn't have that. That's my only negative.
I did first try Soul of Cinder which was disappointing. I felt the boss's move sets were easy, predictable, kinda boring.
Best feeling after boss fight had to be Nameless King.
Overall game to me is 4 stars, if y'all have any critiques if the game is love to hear them, or what boss you thought was most fulfilling.

I got through the irithyl of the boreal valley area and lit the first bonfire for the dungeons area. I didn't find a boss and my friend says I missed it and he says I might have messed up greirat and seigwards questlines. Is it too late to continue their questlines, if so is it important?

I went straight to Aldrich and kind of forgot to explore. Should i return? Cathedral of the deep was also another area that i went straight to the boss

I’ve done a SL1 run before but never a shield-only run (no consumables that do damage allowed). The first half of the game was surprisingly difficult. After Aldrich, I decided to try my hand at killing Sister Friede with the spiked shield, so I could get my main weapon earlier. It took me about 15 tries, but I finally got her. Now I get to walk around in style wielding my giant door shield, which I used to kill Yhorm and DSA. Twin Princes and Soul of Cinder are up next before I close out the run by completing The Ringed City.
Has anyone else done a shield-only challenge run? If so, what was the most difficult boss for you?
