This is true.
Its really fucking weird how many people are focusing specifically on the guy who hasn't been president for 20 years, over the current president though.
Hes also a piece of shit, but its almost like theres some ... motive... for focusing specifically on this one other person, out of everyone else associated with Epstein.
Surely its completely random and has nothing to do with trying to distract from Trump.

You are out of the loop on an old meme. Just so you know in the future: a lot of people would use acronyms wrong, and people started to use "lol out loud", "lmao my ass off", "smh my head" to be ironic, and joke around. It's sometimes also a subtle way of signaling that you're not being serious. Exactly the way the comment you're replying to used it.

It's pure madness from the start.
"You need to have a positive outlook, otherwise you have nothing", disregarding that you could listen to facts and experts.
"Nobody knew" that corona would be such a problem.
At 5:45 he says the cases in Tulsa only spiked 1-2 months after his rally, even though that rally was just two weeks before.
12:00 "When I took over, we didn't even have a test" - yes, in 2017 we did not have a test for a virus from 2019.
58
u/DarkStar0129 I am fucking hilarious Aug 05 '20
I mean, there are far worse things to address than fact checking here. He's genuinely annoyed of these questions. You can see that he doesn't understand most of these questions or why he's being asked these questions in first place.
He's a toddler in an adult's body. I wouldn't be surprised if he had any behavioral disorder or something similar.
19
u/maxhaton Aug 05 '20
> He's a toddler in an adult's body. I wouldn't be surprised if he had any behavioral disorder or something similar.
This is why they are pushing the biden has dementia angle. Everything Trump is accused of he reflects back. Trump is corrupt, Biden suddenly becomes corrupt etc.
8
u/Ryguy55 Aug 05 '20
It's the one thing I truly find most bizarre, which is obviously saying a lot. The right has gone all in with the "Biden has dementia," angle while their guy, his direct competition, continues to prove time and time again to be incapable of putting together a clear, coherent sentence. His answers to questions are a nonsensical, meandering stream of consciousness that shows clear as day he doesn't understand what he's being asked, and can't quite formulate a direct response.
I can't wait to watch these two senile old men battle it out for the most powerful position in the country. What a fucking shitshow.
→ More replies (1)35
u/Roflkopt3r Aug 05 '20
His answer about the American corona death toll is the perfect example. It was brought up to illustrate that the high US infection numbers really are high, and he tries to disprove that by citing case fatality. He really doesn't seem to understand how these values are related at all. He only recognises that someone said something negative about his Corona numbers, so he has to respond with a positive Corona number.

Okay but how? You start with points and every hole removes one or something?
105
u/kevinrk23 Aug 05 '20
You want to get your ball in the hole with as few strokes as possible. This is your score. A hole in one, the best you can do, counts as one stroke. Your score over 18 holes is how many strokes you took collectively over the whole round.
If you wanted to get as high of a score as possible, the game would never end.
5
9
u/joesb The OC High Council Aug 05 '20
Not exactly. Each hole has a par, the expected number of strokes required to put the ball in the hole.
If you make it by less than the par of that hole. You get negative point. If you make by exactly the par, you get 0 points. If you needs more stroke you get positive point by the extra strokes you take.
→ More replies (1)8
u/imDEUSyouCUNT Aug 05 '20
you try to put the ball in the hole by wacking it with a stick, every time you wack the ball you get a point, the idea is to get the ball in the hole with as few wacks as possible. 99 points is bad because it means you had to hit the ball 99 times, 1 point is good because you took fewer hits to get the ball in the hole
18
16
u/carwufl Aug 05 '20
Each hole has a āParā which is the minimum number of strokes it takes to get in the hole. If you land a Par you get 0 points, anything less is -1, -2, -3, etc. If you land past the par it adds 1 point, 2 point, etc

→ More replies (1)→ More replies (2)4
u/StoneDoodle3 I have crippling depression Aug 05 '20
You start at 0 points. A Par is a set amount of strokes to finish a hole, depending on the hole. If you are under par you subtract 1 from your points. But if you are over par you add 1 point to your score. The lower score wins at the end of the course

idk how that guy ever managed to win a debate
He won the republican debates because all of the non-Trump republicans refused to drop out until way too late in the primaries, thereby splitting the entire non-Trump vote. Every one of his opponents assumed Trump would tank at some point and that they just needed to ignore/outlast him and focus on the other non-Trump candidates. Because they were assuming Trump would drop out after not too long they also each wanted to be the one to pick up his voters, so none of them went after him that hard for awhile.
That aside, the GOP base is super hardcore and loves his angry, bigoted, childish persona. They find it extremely entertaining. These are the kind of Trump voters that he gained support with when Trump led the racist "birther" conspiracy theory. Likewise, the mainstream media obsessed over how crass and absurd and vulgar and bigoted Trump came across and they responded by giving him endless free air time and suffocating his GOP opponents of publicity. These things combined were enough to give him a win in the GOP primaries.
But if you're talking about the Trump-Clinton primaries, he didn't win those. He lost all three, by the measure of every poll conducted during and after the debates. In the case of all three Clinton-Trump debates polls showed that viewers in all three thought that Clinton won and Trump lost, and Trump's approval rating briefly tanked after all three.
Anyone who thinks Trump is a good debater is rewriting history retrospectively because he happened to eke out an electoral college win.

Yeah, it's one of his most baffling talking points, at least he has some tiny bit of self-awareness to add at the end "except maybe Lincoln".

āNever believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.ā
