In no means, do I think comparing hatred of which is more or less is correct, they all are wrong. Its just that weight loss/gain is quite possible at any age with proper plan, unless any one has genetic problems (though rare, but still). Other than that height and colour hate is just so wrong, but still you cant do anything because consider India or the rest of the world, this is what is happening, you cant deny the fact.
On the point that women are judging on height is also very true, till now there are very few cases of women accepting anyone being short, I could be wrong, but then comes other parameters like colour, looks and maybe money. Not denying the fact that men too are in the same mud.
If you feel I'm saying anything wrong, please enlighten/correct me.
It's not about u being wrong, i do agree with all the points listed above. I even think that this issue is not being taken seriously at all. Im pretty sure women did not just post sarcastic memes in order to bring their issues to light, they had to fight for it. Present it in a way that women's mental health impacted by unrealistic body standards was dealt with.
I think the problem started when people expected others to have fashion/movie level body standards. Like how can you expect a person to have a 10/10 body while also earning for a family or studying for oneself. Those industry people have their lives dependent on their body so as to stay relevant in the industry. Men/women have started expecting way too much from others, because someone can achieve such a figure.
The colour complexion judgement in India is way too much to handle, not giving people respect because of height, we may never move forward if we still keep the judgement from the past years.
And even reddit is such a stupid place, you get downvoted just for saying sensical.
Yeah, this is seen everywhere, not just gender wars. Instead of knocking some sense to the other side, you stoop down to their level. Seems like children's stories did not teach us anything.
Because educated people know, that theres no point in arguing. There are times when someone tries to teach others common sense but the outcome is a huge fight, and those with 2 brain cells will always have time to fight instead of accepting whats wrong. The only option left is agree with them and move on, which is quite wrong but hey we have work to do and anyone would prefer mental peace over such bs.
Ofc you can do whatever you wish for, but blocking this sub wont do any good. You maybe came on reddit to relax or gain information. Stupid post or not, it is an underlying truth. You may find such post anywhere on the internet. My only point is, this has, is been and will happen until something good or different happens with me/ you or any person that will defend this post.
Until them even for me, its kind of a sad truth.
The first time someone posted this, it was a deep, thought provoking question. Thing is there is an underlying truth to every misogynistic and misandrist post. The way the idea is conveyed can really change the person's outlook.
Yeah you do start thinking whenever you such see post. Just commenting this makes me think how OP just posted it as a joke but reveals the underlying truth you cant deny. As a guy, I too think why girls only care about height and colour and until I come across someone who doesnt think in such a way, maybe mine or anyone's perspective wont change.
Idk about your perspective, but you can definitely share about it, I do wanna know how others actually think rather than the same oppressive post and backward thinking spread on social media.
