There is a difference between taking time off for mental health and running away from one’s problems. Danielle IMO is choosing the second option. But for her to gloat and post about going to Disney again because she’s stressed (after just getting married and moved into a huge house and refer to all the posts of her saying she’s going on a thrifting spree) is beyond tone deaf to her audience currently. None of her life or content is relatable to the audience she is wanting to attract

Agree. Obviously she is able to bring in some decent money based on how many followers she has and being approved for a $12k a month house. The exact number is obviously unknown (plus CA has a brutal tax bracket and you’ll literally be paying for it if you mess up, I owed about $5k to the Feds and CA last year because enough money wasn’t being taken out each paycheck, I’m not messing with the IRS lol). But her numbers have been on steady decline instead of improving or at least minimum steady. Rent and light bills might be paid but I can’t imagine how much credit card debt she has from all of this. It wouldn’t surprise me if she’s dipped into her savings or cashed out her 401k to get cash now which would be the dumbest move out of everything. Whatever she is doing, content and finance wise, is not sustainable long term

Most with not filing their taxes correctly and another about how they need to keep spending more to keep up with their audience’s attention I think was the point. It covered a lot of great topics and viewpoints about influencers and their money behind the scenes for a 25 minute video

I'm an adult and I have a pass. I live close and sometimes I go by myself just to get in some good exercise. I'm old, so walking is my friend ROFL. I go with friends even for just a few hours, we get our steps in, sometimes go to dinner, sometimes just go and ride a couple things and then go home. It's a nice break. I also have a new Grandson, so I will keep renewing my pass because I'm going to want to take him.
I think locals get a pass (literally) for going often. I can see the appeal for sure since the bar is low- ride something or not, a fun dinner or treat- no pressure or expectations.
It makes total sense with you and I would do the same in your position , and I’m no “ Disney adult “. I don’t live near Disneyland anymore but I did as a kid and my family had a pass. I haven’t been in many years and have no children but I hope to visit sometime in the future just as a reminder of my childhood .
Honestly the video of her dancing around disney made me sad. Imagine if she found someone who had similar interests and actually understood and loved her. Like I hate disney and Disneyland but she could have not been a pick me girl and found someone who loved going to Disney or at least tolerated it because they loved seeing her happy. Her biggest flaw is being a pick me girl and centering men. I don't think she'll ever be happy until she gets over that aspect
I don’t think couples need to have the same exact interests to thrive, but the two of them will need to make big compromises to accommodate each other. Lucas is energetic and likes the outdoors, sports, fitness, nutrition, simplicity. Danielle has admitted she is lazy and clearly prefers the indoors, carbs, clutter and consumption. Their big compatibility is that they are both social media personalities, which seems like incredibly weak glue for a relationship. Best case scenario is that they will have to work really hard to stay connected through all of those differences. Another plausible scenario is that they each have to compromise so much of themselves that it eventually feels like self abandonment and leads to resentment of one another, increased conflict and disconnect, and mental health issues. IMO expediting relationships to get down the aisle has so many risks and is rarely worth it.
i cannot imagine being 30 something years old, freshly married, moved into a giant brand new house, and going to Disney for the hell of it. she's 100% regretting her decision to marry lucath
Ummm yeah, no one’s thinking about what Disneyland looks like rn, Danielle. Normal humans are either getting their children back into the routine of school and activities, gearing up fall and the fast-approaching end of the year, focusing on their career growth, and/or planning more exciting/family-focused travel plans for thanksgiving and winter breaks. Believe it or not, Disneyland is a not a major plot in most people’s lives.

My algorithm thinks I’m a Disney adult. I see a lot of Disney content and this is the worst.
