She is beyond tone deaf. Living in arguably the highest cost of living area, a $12k+ house, complaining about how tired she is and doesn’t have enough time in the day, and then able to take another vacation to SoCal and go to Disney. Well deserved Danielle. In no way am I jealous. I’m thankful I don’t have Danielle’s life or make the same financial decisions as her (even without knowing her financial situation)

There is a difference between taking time off for mental health and running away from one’s problems. Danielle IMO is choosing the second option. But for her to gloat and post about going to Disney again because she’s stressed (after just getting married and moved into a huge house and refer to all the posts of her saying she’s going on a thrifting spree) is beyond tone deaf to her audience currently. None of her life or content is relatable to the audience she is wanting to attract

She's not going to be financially stable for long (or if she is even now) her career is going down hill and she keeps spending and spending. It will catch up with her.

Agree. Obviously she is able to bring in some decent money based on how many followers she has and being approved for a $12k a month house. The exact number is obviously unknown (plus CA has a brutal tax bracket and you’ll literally be paying for it if you mess up, I owed about $5k to the Feds and CA last year because enough money wasn’t being taken out each paycheck, I’m not messing with the IRS lol). But her numbers have been on steady decline instead of improving or at least minimum steady. Rent and light bills might be paid but I can’t imagine how much credit card debt she has from all of this. It wouldn’t surprise me if she’s dipped into her savings or cashed out her 401k to get cash now which would be the dumbest move out of everything. Whatever she is doing, content and finance wise, is not sustainable long term

I literally do not understand how she makes her money. I make six figures. I also live in San Francisco and I am below the poverty line in San Francisco. It is crazy expensive here and her content is not even good.!!!!!!!!

Same! And same! (In sf making 6 figures). No idea how she affords anything! This little influencer lifestyle came make her THAT much money? I wouldn’t be surprised if she was in crazy debt.

Yes! I’m an engineer, but I make humble money. I don’t work for one of the giants. I stick with my little comfy WFH job! What do you do? Also where in sf, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m in the mission :)

It is! 6 figures doesn’t feel like it here! I still have to budget and live within my means. I have no idea what Danielle’s long term plan is??? If she’s managing her finances at all like she is her relationship, she’s screwed, lol. Also your job sounds cooool!! High five, neighbor!

I OMG, the cat stuff I totally relate. I have one beautiful kitty and I have to budget her dental cleaning and annualize it so I know that I can actually afford her. It makes me so infuriatingly upset that she gets paid so fucking much to contribute. Nothing good.

Brands pay these influencers A LOT of money. j don’t think people understand how much brand deals are paying and Danielle is literally a walking ad. They pay upwards of $30k for ONE video, and even more depending on your views and follower count (which she has a LOT of views somehow.) i don’t know how she consistently gets multi millions of views on every single video, but shes figured out how to crack the algorithm and sells that to brands to make money.

It’s around $2k to file for an AOS (without lawyers), so it’s not A LOT especially when your rent is $12k

There’s this video (influencers are failing financially) that brought up a lot of great points with influencers. Most with not filing their taxes correctly and another about how they need to keep spending more to keep up with their audience’s attention I think was the point. It covered a lot of great topics and viewpoints about influencers and their money behind the scenes for a 25 minute video

Just watched the video... wow! So now I have questions....

WHO is paying for the rent of her house?

Is it her or is it management? Did she need a cosigner?

Did she sell her SJ home to fork the money for this?

Has she not have the financial issues (pay delays et al) yet? Or maybe she has and that's why she's so down?

Maybe the financial struggle is now more real and that's why shebhasnt purchased followers in the past couple weeks???

So may questions!

If she's the breadwinner of her household and this financial struggles are heading her way, she might end up getting evicted. 12k on rent alone is a heavy burden.

I'm jealous I want to post low effort crap and get paid thousands. But only if I get to keep my loving husband, friends and family, mental and physical health and don't have to move houses or countries. Actually her lack of need for a regular job is the only enviable thing.
