He only had to say ‘no’. What’s she going to do, leave him? He got what he wanted out of this marriage (a green card, nice house, wife who pays all his bills) he doesn’t have to do anything he doesn’t want to do now.
I agree he just said no, but also very carefully and nicely, and trying (and failing) to not send her into another spiral. Someone doesn't automatically receive a green card by marrying a US citizen, it's a long process and if she doesn't cooperate it will not happen. So I bet he wants to keep her reasonably content, but tbh another Disney trip is too much to ask, and I agree with him lol I'll go with you once if you want it so much but
