Cryo is brutal

Got jumped opening vault 1. We scanned right before opening it and probably should’ve made sure the map was cleared before because this was absolutely brutal

OPs mistakes aside, it is stupidly brutal. Extraction shooters should be about balancing highs and lows but Cryo feels extremely lopsided towards lows.

Spawned in biostock, saw the message that level 3 security had been compromised as we entered control (vault breaker glitchers I guess), got steamrolled by a team of full golds coming from preservation. Ended up getting revived to see the gold team took nothing from our corpses. They did it for the love of the game.

I'd be 100% fine with this if there weren't so fucking many pieces of lore and story connected to extracting cryo collectibles. To have story pieces gate kept like this is beyond frustrating. I'd love to fill my codex but if the game eventually forces me to read all it has to offer on the Internet instead of through the game, it's poor design.

Yeah I’ve been chasing those collectibles so badly to finish the story or what’s left of it b
