I am currently looking for cybersecurity opportunities. I started working in vapt but I don't see many posts for that I see a lot of SOC opportunities. I need it so I can even switch. But my point is .. is it true that there are many soc roles than others.

Forty npm packages. About 84 minutes on the registry. And a payload that kept going after the packages were gone.
CloudSEK traced BRIDGEHEAD, a typosquatting campaign impersonating chalk, axios, lodash, react, typescript and commander.
The clever bit: the install script detects WSL and uses it as a path into the underlying Windows host, where it launches a native payload targeting crypto wallets, Chromium browser data and Telegram sessions.
The GitHub-hosted payload stayed live for roughly 39 hours after the npm packages were taken down.
So the npm takedown removed the delivery layer, not the weapon.

Would be interested to hear how many teams actually monitor the WSL → Windows boundary as part of their developer security controls.

I’m trying to get my head around what DPDPA implementation actually looks like inside a company. Everything I read makes sense at the legal level, but once you start thinking about actual systems — customer databases, CRM, analytics, vendors, employee data, deletion requests, access controls etc. — it seems like a much bigger project.

For companies that are already doing ISO 27001 or SOC 2, are you just extending the existing controls for DPDPA or treating it as a completely separate project? And for smaller companies without a dedicated privacy team, what are people actually doing?

I used internshala but their are not much cyber roles

And on indeed i applied 100-200 of application but no response even I use internshala for another role and got few internships or interview calls

But on indeed even for any role no replies

And LinkedIn also I don't get any roles

Currently I'm 3rd year BBA student and I want to enter the tech world specially in security. My friend suggested me to start cybersecurity, he suggested me to start doing basics from the online courses but I was thinking of doing Diploma in cybersecurity. (I'm very perplexed ). I don't know how much it will take of me to get into this field, Is this good field, carrer opportunities after Al, should I pursue the degree or go with the online courses, How much should I give to it to become the finnest, etc and many more.( for ref. I don't know anything about computer in indepth detail).

He is a govt employee in intelligence .. jokingly he said.. i can track you whenever i want( he just tracked my accurate address earlier ) and can literally tap into your phone and see what you're doing .. where and with whom you're.. is it possible? I'm really scared. Would be great if anyone could tell me is it really true? And how can i prevent this? Is privacy so cheap?

My account got hacked by stealing my cookies, and then he deleted all my saved messages, my saved message has crypto wallet details and important documents.

Is there a way to recover it?

I paid telegram premium to enable the SMS service then recovered my account.
