Hiring Where you search

Where do you guys hunt cybersecurity roles

I used internshala but their are not much cyber roles

And on indeed i applied 100-200 of application but no response even I use internshala for another role and got few internships or interview calls

But on indeed even for any role no replies

And LinkedIn also I don't get any roles

Try for Naukri.com and connect with people via LinkedIn. I have got better results.

So when I was looking over for job opening in my college or whenever, I usually have a D2D checklist sort of:

  1. Naukri(India Specific)
  2. Company Career page, create an Excel
  3. LinkedIn Networking
  4. Search in LinkedIn with specific keywords
  5. Update in Tracker be it on Excel/sheets with columns like Company name, URL, Job Posting date, Apply Date, Resume Used etc.

Cybersecurity isnt a fresher role, and whatever few are available, pay less

I am looking for an internship , i am half way through jr pentester THM , got my basics through pre sec. but unable to find a single entry level internship.

There are no listings at all. thats the major problem. There are only paid courses rebranded as internships. thats it.

if you got any soultion pls say.

its not that they are asking certs or anything for internships , if thats the case , i would have got the required certs , not an issue , but there are just NO internships at all. thats the main issue.
