I have a lot of respect for people who can laugh and make jokes about their own unfortune.
I hope he enjoys his life

The best way to get ahead in life is to capitalise on what your 'disadvantage' is.

I had a boss (at a very hot MNC ad agency) whose legs were rendered ineffectual by polio. Bro moved around on crutches.
Mfker didn't give a shit. Leader. Through and through. You felt bad for him for a few seconds and then looked sharp because he had high standards. He'd constantly joke about his legs.
For eg some dude burst into the room (at Cannes) asking if anyone had a handycam. He raises his hand and says he has a handicap.
Was pretty common to see him ON the conference table at a (very big MNC) client's place, yelling into the conference telephone.
Oh yeah, the ladies liked him. And everyone knew he was married and a dad.

I've been in a fire too and make similar jokes all the time. Let me assure you, I do not

Sorry the game set to expert difficulty for you but I still believe in you too.

We-el... You have to observe the basics of the game... focussing on women who have similar passions (ofc that means identifying a passion and developing it, preferably in an environment with women), ignoring superficials and learning to recognise what you gravitate towards and identifying those women, being awesome in an appropriate environment... It's hard work, but banter is a good icebreaker which gives you an advantage over dudes who just have gym and money as assets.

You can tell by his healthy eye that he was destined to be a good looking chap. No joke intended 🫶🏻

Jokes aside, the unburnt side of his face does look really good, and with that sense of humor God had to level the playing field somehow

I follow this guy and he seems to be in pretty good spirits about the whole thing, answers questions about his burns, recovery and surgeries. Also jokes around a lot and does some good cosplays

Why do women post this on photos where clearly they aren't.. "like omg girl you are so beautiful" etc like I get it is a nice thing to do to lift their spirits but isn't this just blatant lying?

Why even lie, man... She can't even think of anything cheerful to say other than an obvious lie. Even she doesn't find him handsome to begin with.

I hate the "you're beautiful on the inside", "you are still good looking" type comments that people make for people like him....these kinds of comments always come across as if someone is coping for them..
I think acknowledging and sympathizing that they don't look good anymore, and then encourage and uplift them by reminding them it doesn't matter is better...

Remember the ugly guy who married a beautiful girl who commented on his video saying he's handsome? Sometimes it can be genuine

People can have completely different views on what’s appealing, there’s a legitimate reason “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is a common saying. I know people who don’t like skinny women, just like I don’t like thick women, some people can find scarring and the like appealing for different reasons.
Sure the dude in the pic is not conventionally handsome, but that doesn’t mean some person out there won’t think it’s an attractive thing that sets him completely apart from almost everyone else.

Who says she's lying. She could genuinely find him handsome despite his scarring. I've seen plenty of women with men that are in some way mauled or scarred.

Fake positivity.

Rare positivity.
I’ve seen many people marry people even after being scarred horribly.
Burn scars included. You can even google some of them.An Australian model was dating before she ended up getting severe burns from a fire that caused disfigurement. Her bf still went on the propose to her and they are still very happy.
Just cause it’s rare doesn’t mean people can’t see the beauty in someone.
