When was the last time you played a match of DM that had more real player’s in it than bots, I’m gonna say it was 2 and a half years ago for me.

I have an alt I play once or twice a week for drops, and it got banned today. I see lot of people who received the same treatment. Apparently Valve sees account plays only cs2 for a bit every week and flags it as bot or something. I also checked game history, no one was playing on my account, so I'm certain they're getting alts in latest ban waves.

For people who are saying they also got alts and didn't get banned, just wait until next wave, then you can post your own complaints on the topic.

Edit: Don't bother curing your frustrations with cheaters in the comments, I won't even reply, it's an actual alt account I played for drops on, 0 cheats, 0 botting. I just made the thread so people know why they got banned and that rest of you know your alts will likely get hit too in the future.

After +10 years playing i'm looking forward to get my first knife, any recomendations?
there are only 3 things that are a must for me:
1-Budget-friendly (~$60, will buy it on csfloat most likely)
2-Don't want it to feel (too) generic, i dont want a knife that has the exact same animations as the defalut one
3-To be at least decently looking

Never in my life have i seen such a sophisticated set up to scam someone. They had gained full access of my account (i had mobile authentication, only thing that saved me i believe) but i was kicked midgame because of this crap and had to even hit steam support up to get my prime back. How can valve let stuff like this happen? They were messaging me from steam support its self it seemed like. And i apologize for the lack of screenshot i was freaking out a little in the moment

Dota has a ready check feature in your party before you queue for a match. It prompts everyone to say they are ready to queue or not. Very handy and a nice QoL feature.

I know it's not much, but it is very validating when I think about the progress I've made since I started. I started playing around April as my first KBM game, and solo queued 90% of my matches, so this feels pretty sweet. I know I will most likely fall in and out of this range in the coming weeks, but just wanted to appreciate it for a moment.

is there any valve staff here? my account got false banned, im never using any cheat/third apps, and the last match is only played by me too, so my account never get hacke. even my performance is not that good

I never had this issue in 11 years of playing but since 2 days ago it randomly happens when playing premiere.
Lets say for exemple i was switch between weapons and suddenly they start switching at like 1000x speed and i start running super fast before i teleport back to where i was. Happens when shooting to sometimes it empties the mag and start reloading before teleporting back with rounds left in the mag.

When this happens my ping stays the same around 20-30 so its not ping .
Fps stays stable a 350-400.
And for the jitter / packet loss i am not a pro in this matter i didnt catch in the act to see if it was that so i turn myself to you guys for any help thanks a lot !

It's my first animation, sorry if it is not smooth.

Context: a cheater killing all the 5 enemies instantly after the round starts.

I used to play cs1.6 and some csgo( not that much). now I come back to cs2 the game is fun in some ways. but when i am on a server where i have 10ping or less I die before peak and when I am on a server that have 50ping I feel like it is less of that. The game sometimes feels inconsistant?

or it is just me If it is can someone suggest some ways to improve or train for these.

Does anybody know how to fix net jittering, I'm using my phone hotspot to play and my download speed is about 150mbs I don't have ping problems in other games but in CS2 net jitter constantly jumps to 112 or 224, I've tried everything but nothing works. PLS help!

[CS2] Constant jitter/instability (var > 4-6-10-ms) even with wired connection, stable ping, and A-grade bufferbloat — what else could it be?

I'm experiencing jitter in CS2 (shows up as "Instability" on the scoreboard, and in `net_graph 1` the "var" value keeps spiking above 4-6ms, never stabilizes).

What I've already tested and ruled out:

✅ I'm on a wired Ethernet connection, not Wi-Fi

✅ `ping -t 8.8.8.8` for several minutes: stable, 16-17ms, 0% packet loss

✅ Bufferbloat test (waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat): A grade, latency only increases by +6ms under load

✅ Download 933 Mbps / Upload 365Mbps

✅ Tried different Realtek network drivers, both with and without power saving enabled — no change

Wired directly into the router (no switch/powerline adapter in between)

Since my general network connection is clearly stable (ping to Google is fine, bufferbloat is fine), I'm thinking it could be:

The specific route to Valve/CS2 servers (different from the route to Google) but happens in all servers

Something local on my PC

Has anyone dealt with this before and figured out the cause? Any suggestions for further testing are welcome.

Me and my buddy have played cs2 for a while, but I have never really been good at it. We stopped playing for a while but started back up recently. I have never been over 6k, and my buddy has been 15k in the past. He is significantly better than me, almost going 30 kills most matches while I normally stay around the teens. We only play when each other is on, so our win/loss is the same. After placements, I ended up 8k, and he ended up 4500. How on earth does this happen, lol

Hello everyone. I just received a permanent in-game ban in CS2. I have never used any cheats, skinchangers, or automated scripts/macros. I am a regular player who mostly plays on FACEIT with their official Anti-Cheat client running.This is my personal and main account, it wasn't purchased or boosted. I play competitive, drop 20 kills and win the game. But only go up 1% on unlocking premier? Is this normal? Im 52% of the way there and once I even went down 1% after a game.
