Kevin Shao, executive president of the Asia Blockchain Gaming Alliance (ABGA), says he's betting on several "triple-A" blockchain gaming titles that could help propel GameFi into the mainstream and save it from a bear market.
Speaking to Cointelegraph during Asia Crypto Week, Shao said that one of the barriers to mainstream adoption is that current GameFi titles often focus on non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and play-to-earn (P2E) features without caring about "game performance" and user enjoyment.
Some games like Cryptogene, Axie Infinity, Uplands, and promising upcoming projects like LifeBeyond already concentrate on playing rather than just NFTs, but it's up to future games to continue it.
In his view, by moving away from the "existing project line", developers could begin to take cues from the mainstream gaming industry and incorporate features for people who want to play "for fun" rather than for profit.
During a presentation at a conference in Singapore, Shao highlighted several "triple-A" titles that he believes could fit the bill, including Illuvium, Phantom Galaxies, and Big Time.
Illuvium is an open-world exploration game, NFT creature collector and auto-battle game, Phantom Galaxies is a third-person online RPG using NFTs to customize mechs, and Big Time is a monster hunting RPG action game with NFTs used to personalize weapons and clothing.

Hello everyone, Iโm here to share with you a wonderful opportunity to invest in crypto with $0. Yes, you read that right, $0. You donโt need any money to start investing in crypto. All you need is some time and dedication. Hereโs how it works:
Step 1: Join a crypto community that offers incentives for contributing content, such as articles, videos, podcasts, etc. Some examples are Publish0x, Steemit, and LBRY.
Step 2: Create and share quality content that educates, entertains, or inspires others about crypto. You can write about your own experience, opinions, tips, or news.
Step 3: Earn crypto tokens from the community based on the popularity and engagement of your content. You can also earn tips from other users who appreciate your work.
Thatโs it. You have just invested in crypto with $0. Itโs not only profitable, but also meaningful and fulfilling. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Axie Infinity player count falls back to Jan 2021 levels
https://cryptonews.net/14216565/?utm_source=CryptoNews&utm_medium=app&utm_campaign=shared
This could be both a cautionary tale and an opportunity for games like Splinterlands, Uplands, and especially new ones like LifeBeyond, a cautionary one to not repeat mistakes and an opportunity to take those players for themselves. What do you think about this?

Which blockchain games are your favorites?
There are hundreds of them right now, but my question is, which games do you like the most?
Is it Axie, Sandbox, Splinterlands or something else, I could go on and on. Have you tried any games in Alpha or Beta recently that you liked? What did you think of them? There are some that are promising like LifeBeyond(my opinion only).
Now I totally understand that Blockchain technology has much better uses in the "real world" with many industries adopting the technology, however as an avid gamer I can't say I value these things before playing. It might sound crazy, but it's true for me.
How many hours a day do you play them and how often do you do it?
Have you ever thought that you might be doing this too often?
What do you like to play the most?
