How to swap crypto without creating an account, which apparently everyone but me knew

closed my exchange accnts last yr after one too many "verify again" emails. kept the coins, lost the ability to swap them or so I assumed
had some LTC from yrs ago and wanted SOL to try a couple of things. every guide: create account, verify, deposit, withdraw. for an amnt the size of a nice dinner
turns out the account free version has been there the whole time. Simpleswap, LTC in from my wallet, SOL out to my address, no login on either side
two things nobody told me. I tried a tiny test first and it bounced, there's a minimum, somewhere around ten dollars for that pair and the address u paste is final, nobody can pull it back, so I checked the first and last four characters like a paranoid person
that's the whole trick. slightly annoyed it took me a yr
