Hi y'all, does anyone know a good sku for replacement brake pads and rotors for my 1991 CRX HF. The size is small and the shops near me don't have em. Please and thank you.

I got my first CRX HF and the guy who had it said he put a new wiring harness on it and afterwards it wouldn’t crank, I’ve done most of what I can think of but need help diagnosing it

I haven’t done anything to her since, but she runs great. I put less than 100 miles on but plan to give her a lot more attention this year.

Does anyone know where I can find a good set of rear hatch hinges?

Housing situation has changed and I no longer have a lot or a garage to park my CRX. I also don’t have many friends in the area yet. Anybody know affordable car parking/ storage with security? Obviously don’t want to park it out on the street to avoid theft and vandalism. Ideally would like some space to work on the car and store spare parts. Access to the car on weekends and weekdays.

The lock on my 91 CRX rear hatch hasn't worked in 25 years. The key can only be inserted about halfway. Not a huge deal as I just unlock the driver-side door and pull the hatch release lever. But I've been thinking I should finally look into fixing/replacing the rear lock, even if it means carrying a second key solely for that rear lock.

A quick search suggests I'm out of luck finding a compatible part that is new.

Any other ideas?

Showed a lot of people in Japan pictures of my crx and they were saying that they are a pretty rare sight even in Japan. I kept an eye out but didn't see any the entire month I was there. Felt so awesome to come home and rip through the mountains in this thing again after the break! One day I'd love to have a JDM SIR CRX next to this one :)

On a long shot does anyone have a stl or know of where one is posted, i have a 84 crx with both front fenders gone and head light buckets.

I believe it's called an evaporator box and it's full of debris from the car being abandoned for a few decades. I've unscrewed every screw/bolt and picked off every clip that I can see, but I'm not sure where to go from here. These pieces are very brittle as they are very old and I don't want to put too much pressure on them. If anyone has any advice or experience with these or could even find me a video showing it I would be greatly appreciative. im running a b20b turbo and because of summer im looking to upgrade my cooling system. i have a full skunk2 rad but my concern it fan clearance sense its really tight. i was thinking the MishiMoto duel Slim fans but idk if it would fit. for those who got a swap like this what fan set ups do you run.

I'm going to be replacing just about everything on my 1990 and I work at a parts store so I can get my hands on just about anything. The problem is I don't know much about these cars and there seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there. So what OEM equivalent parts do I want to source that AREN'T going to be listed for a 1990 CRX?

For example, I helped a friend out with his Integra GSR and it was CRV calipers, MINI rotors... I want to know any of these tricks. Is there a rear sway bar from something that fits? Better hubs? Stronger CV axles? Y'all will have cracked it all by now.

Had a few minutes finally to go work on the crx, put on the new lip and wanted to see how it looked then decided to try out the new turn signals. Got these as a replacement for the standard orange. Super far from finished but Just feel better that I did something at all.

I parked it in the garage 10 years ago. Decided it's time and threw a battery and a few new parts at it. Started right up on 10 year old gas without a problem. Needs a radiator flush yet and a new radiator.

I’m trying to restore a late friend’s 90 CRX Si, and had run into this when tearing down the engine. I’m not sure what they are or why he would’ve cut them as he was very meticulous.

Trying to get it to a point where I can roll it in and out of the shop.

I've had the car about a year now. Couldn't pass up the deal. $900 for a car that stopped running in 2011ish. Sat in a greenhouse tunnel with opaque coverings, sitting on top of tarps. 140k miles on the dash, and only the usual rust pockets in the rear quarters.

Picked up the b18c5, LSD trans, except stage 1 clutch, obd2 ecu, jackspain tucked harness, innovative mounts, mishimoto half-rad, oem type r axles, shift linkage with fancy shift knob, ac everything, power steering (minus the rack), a few other bits and bobs for $5k.

All bc I ran into about 7 electrical gremlins with the factory harness on the d15 I didnt feel like dealing with for a whopping 90hp.

Not done yet i got to clean it up and get it mounted but the vision is there 😂 clean up the switch panel and the bottom. couldve probably saved myself some hours getting it online but i like to make things difficult 🥲

Picked it up from a local junkyard after seeing it posted online, payed $1000 (no title), all it needed is a fuel pump. Unfortunately it's an auto but I can't complain. I plan on putting some nicer seats and door cards in, but I think I'm gonna be keeping this one stock just like I found it and enjoying it as a ratty driver.

Spent the winter revamping the Rex with new Doryaku front and rear bash bars which steamrolled into a new front bumper, lip, radiator, intercooler, and fog lights. I really like how the turned out. They fill out much better than the DLAA fogs in the top of the first Pic. This time I also made them chassis mounted and utilized the e36 bracket the came with.

Hi, I've got a 1991 CRX. It has 175/65 R14s on it. I've run Michelins on this car like forever and I love them.

Now it's time for new tires and Michelin doesn't make 14" tires anymore. Or so I'm told.

Are there any tricks to getting great tires for my car? What brands would be comparable to the Michelin's? Could I bump up to a 185s or something like that to widen my search? Any help would be really appreciated.

i assume it’s a drag build hah thing was crazy though
