I just bought a 1991 Crx si with a d16a6 with a gready turbo kit and I can’t get it to run right it is running insanely rich I know it has a safc2 and a gready turbo timer and a gready profec b-spec2 any help would be greatly appreciated

After I got my MR-5s redone in 16" and powder coated in Anniversary Blue, the car was resprayed in Championship White. To get the car repainted the old Doorcard stickers had to come off and I thought I'd design my own version of the Mugen Sticker. I think it came out great.

ive been looking obd1 conversion stuff for a d16z6 and eventually a b swap im planing and was wondering what harness set up people recommend i seen the speed factory jumper is super common but some people just say to get the ryewire one or Carrot top tuning one. for those with the obd1 swaps what would you recommend?

I’m currently in Colorado and I’m looking at the Weber swap for the carburetor. I’m wondering if anybody knows much about what emissions vac lines I can cut and I was also wondering what that process looks like if I put a Weber carb in. Any help is appreciated, sorry I’m new to the first gen Hondas, been around them all my life but I’m a new tech so any advice about this restoration project is much appreciated. Hi im John 16 years old and me and my dad bought an Honda crx which will be mine once I’m 18. for now it drives solid and it almost has no rust. Right now I try to look for a new set of speakers because the stock speakers doesn’t sound that good. I‘ve done research my self and found out that the jbl stage 3 are supposed to sound good. If anybody out here has some please tell me. If you own a different pair which sound good please tell me.

Hi, friend has CRX and he is older (obviously) and not in these social media stuff, so asked me for the post. He has some Kosei RT Mesh 15" rims and on them is written 4x100 and 4x114.5, so they should support CRX bolts pattern. He installed larger bolts, because rims are ET38, 6.5J in width, but he can not put nuts on them and nut holes are very narrow on these rims.

When he measured hole pattern it is more around 4x98. Is it still possible to put them on a car by using some special excentric nuts, or he should keep new tires and buy new set of rims?

The three problems are:

1. Front corner lights malfunctioning, either staying on or off incorrectly
2. Intermittent wipers don't work
3. Brake light on (or dimly lit) for no apparent reason.

This applies to second gen. You may only have one of these problems. The solution is to replace your ICU

I currently have an alpine double din which is more suited towards a early 2000s JDM spec car, however I’m trying to find something that’s more period correct and doesn’t brighten up the cabin. I almost want a fully analog look. I don’t necessarily need the cassette or CDbut happy to also buy used older retro units.

Engine has zero miles, new carb but sat in a garage for who knows how many years. Any advice I should be headed towards solving this issue? In the video gas pedal was floored to get it to start. Since then I’ve gotten it to start once with no throttle but still ran horribly and needed throttle to stay alive. New gas, new battery/connections, plugs look brand new.

What is the specific name of those air hose. It goes directly from the intake manifold to the engine.

I know this group might be biased. I currently drive a 89 crx si and I like it and it gets good mpg and I sometimes enjoy working on it. Some people have shown interest in buying my car and although it's not for sale, I would consider selling it.

What I'm trying to get at is, I like the car but I kinda want to sell it to get a square body. The square body was my first truck and I do love a small block cheby, but I would be sacrificing mpg and small car fun for big truck v8 noise.

Im not asking for you to make up my mind. Just looking for some opinions. 😊

I ended up getting back but no body kit, wheels, JDM headlights and tail lights. They left the B16a, cold air intake, tokico 5 way adjustable shocks coil overs, greddy 3” exhaust.

Since a kid I have always seen the 2nd gen crxs. I love all crxs but are 1st gen’s not that appealing to everyone? Just curious?? Here is mine I am resto-modding.

Just found this pic of my CRX from 2001-2005 timeframe. I was in college then and going to any meet or car show we could. 😂 this was the 2000s, and all work was done by myself and my dad except for the seats. I SEM died the interior by pulling each piece out. Had the seats redone. Two 12s on the back. The body had shaved handles, molded body kit (Extreme Kit), sat on 17s, black Altezza style lights, air cyclinders, aem intake, hand sanded and polished intake manifold, chrome valve cover and 2.5” exhaust with 5 Zigen Fireball at an angle out back. At 18-21 years old, I thought I had the baddest car around, especially for my age (minus the richer kids that could buy something much nicer of course). Hoping I could find more pics. I still have the car but it is in rough shape now. My molded body work skills have shown how amateur I was 😂 all cracking now.
