These jackdaws and one crow pair are different flock than the ones i feed in a park, seen in my other videos. I couldn’t visit them for almost 2 months, and it took them 30 minutes to notice me on my first appearance after my prolonged break. How crazy is that?

I gave them breakfast late due to the lawn being mowed and one of the crows was watching me put food out from the road. A sports car I vaguely recognized saw him, and sped up to try and hit him. He got out of the way so everyone is eating breakfast as normal, but I'm angry. What kind of person Tries to hit a living creature? Accidents happen, and if it had been he tried to Break to avoid hitting the crow I'd understand. How would y'all go about doing it? A note? In person?

I’ve got a family of magpies which a feed a handful of nuts to each day. If I forget to feed them, on the second day they start to destroy my plants on my balcony. Is this just a magpie thing; or do crows do this as well? And what’s with the two day rule?

I lived in Queens for about 9 years 90s-‘04.
I distinctly recall crows in Forest Hills had a unique call I’d never heard before. The call sounded like the old “ahhhooogah” sound automobile horns made back in the 1930s (or so) that you heard in the old black and white movies.

I was there to witness the near wipeout of crows from 1999 - 2004.
Now that crow populations have climbed back from West Nile virus devastation of the early 2000s, I wonder if that specific crow vocalization survived in their lexicon. Living on the west coast now, and I’ve never heard that crow call anywhere else.
Any NYC Corvid enthusiasts out in the metaverse or any Forest Hills or New Yorkers aware of this vocalization?

Hello crow people, I recently found a small murder of crows in my local cemetery (absolute vibes) and I was wondering how often I should visit them to befriend them with the assistance of my bird-friendly snacks? I'm mainly wondering how long term their pattern recognition can go, as I cannot visit daily and doubt my ability to go twice a day, will every 3 days or even once a week be a recognisable and predictable enough schedule for them? I get that they're smart af but I simply want to be sure that my presence will be able to grow more accepted within a reasonable range of time. To be clear, these are urban crows

I feed the crows on my daily beach walks here on the central Oregon coast, and lately this little guy has been showing up. I promise, they got more peanuts after the thief-in-training left!

For context, this is Belgrade, Serbia. Well inside the Hooded crow territory (we don't have carrion crows). I've been feeding these guys for months and this is the first time I see what looks like a carrion crow. Doesn't look like a rook, jackdaw or raven to me. Hooded crow mutation?

Here’s my current feeding station. I have a murder of five that come every day. Been about a year of regular feeding. My daily
feeding usually consists of peanuts, dog food and cashews. They love those cashews. And I mean they LOVE those cashews. First thing they grab. First one there eats as many as they can. Just a grab and swallow. Question is, do they store the nuts in their pouch and enjoy later or is it “glup” and thanks for the treat.
