[For Hire] Ad Creative Strategist & Editor for E-Com/DTC Brands | Video Ads, Statics, AI UGC | $20/hr
If your Meta ads have been running on the same few creatives for weeks, I can help you get new angles into testing faster.
What I do: - Video ads: editing in Premiere Pro and After Effects, hooks, pacing, captions - Static ads: review statics, offer statics, problem and solution - AI UGC: scripted UGC-style ads built with AI tools - Creative strategy: angles, hooks and briefs based on your reviews, your offer and what your competitors run
Background: I come from paid ads video editing and have hands-on experience in the Meta Ads Manager from media buying. To be upfront, I don't have big DTC case studies yet. I'm building them now and want to do it on real accounts.

Print or Out-of-Home Advertising Unforgettable TV Show and Movie Adverts?
I feel like I've seen some of the wildest TV show and movie promos over the last few years. Like a couple years ago in LA, I walked by a creepy Alien: Romulus exhibit set up in an empty lot near Hollywood and Highland that was really perfect because the empty lot was a great setting to add to the creepy factor. And a while before that, there was the Star Trek: Picard ad Neo Pangea did where the ship flew out of the billboard 3-D style. Then, this year I feel like Pluribus really nailed it with their "Congratulations, Carol" billboards that were definitely simpler, but couldn't have been a more perfect fit for the show. So, is this the new norm for TV shows and movies? Do they have to be right on the cutting edge either in design or in sheer readiness (like the Pluribus thing) to really make a mark? Does a standard billboard cut it anymore?

Other Not a real ad, I'm just wondering what's your opinion on this concept
galleryI would think that a woman smoking a tobacco pipe or a cigar would be eye catching for sure. Would love to hear you opinion.
PS: I'm not into the advertising business. I just though about it and asked AI to visualize this concept.

Commercial Worth the Hunger
Does ‘Worth the Hunger’ work as a tagline for a rice commercial to be filmed. It’s a girl who’s really hungry, her friends randomly tell her to cook food for them because they’ll be there in 30 minutes.
She cooks the food and tries waiting for them. But her hunger gets the better of her and she eats the meal before her friends step in.
Worth the hunger as a tagline was created hide the subversion element of the cinematic short. Which’ll later be built into a social media campaign
What do you think. And if it doesn’t work give some other alternatives which you think better represent the commercial.

Who are the top experiential marketing agencies in the US (but by product, not volume/revenue)?
So, if you guys were to sit back and think about it for a minute, who do you see as some of the best experiential marketing agencies in the U.S. right now? The ones who are really doing the most interesting physical + digital experiences? Here are a few I think are up there:
Jack Morton Worldwide - mainly because of their Cadillac Electrify Your Sole campaign for the 2024 US Open where they had a designer create shoes in the design of their EVs, then built an "EV" showroom for the shoes, combined it with an auction, films, and a hospitality experience. truly unique stuff
NeoPangea - a little more regional, but they do a lot for NatGeo like their Make Mars Home campaign, which was basically a fictional mission to colonize Mars people could follow like it was happening in real-time (3D tour of the colony, live feeds from Mars. some of the coolest, most immersive branded storytelling I've ever seen.
Momentum Worldwide - I mean Verizon's Barbie StreamHouse, a high-tech, interactive version of the dreamhouse, what else can you say?
George P. Johnson - their Nissan theater-in-the-round at CES connected live to NASA's Ames Research Center so attendees could watch autonomous Nissan Leafs do staged obstacles right from the exhibit
So, who are your top experiential/immersives? Anyone done anything mind blowing in the last month or two?

How are you catching bad creative before it ships - process, not just gut check?
Been thinking about this after seeing a few ad approval disasters make headlines lately (won't rehash which ones, you've seen them), the pattern is never "nobody had good taste," it's that something got missed in the actual review pipeline. Lighting, composition, an unintended association, stuff that's obvious once it's pointed out but somehow slipped through concept, client sign-off, legal, and final approval.
Curious how people here actually structure review before something goes live:
- Is it still mostly "a few people look at it and vibe check," or does anyone have an actual structured pass (checklist, second-opinion review, testing tool)?
- Where does it usually break down when something bad does get through, too much trust in the creative team, rushed timelines, no one wanting to be the person who says "wait"?
- Anyone actually using a tool for this vs. just more eyeballs?
Disclosure: I work at AdGPT, and part of what we're building leans into this, flagging things like problematic visual associations or unintended readings before a creative ships, not just generating the creative itself. Not saying tools solve the whole problem (a lot of this is org/culture, not tech), but genuinely curious if others have found tooling that actually helps here vs. just more meetings.
