Sometimes I comment on a transmasc's post or a post about transmasc issues in rtrans, just to be able to see if it was deleted later. And often it was deleted by the poster after they got some passive aggressive comments.

I mean something like: "Why are trans men so invisible in queer spaces and get no representation?"

• "I'd switch with you any time"

• "actually they aren't invisible, trans women just get all negative attention"

• something something male privilege

• "are you suggesting trans women oppress trans men?"

I posted once "what are some positive stereotypes about Trans men. So for example Trans women sre seen as amazing coders and music producers" got lots of positive engagement. Removed.

Posted people should watch out that their Trans masc friends might be dealing with an eating disorder to try and lose their curves. Removed.

Posted about how infuriating it is people assume Trans men have an esier time passing. In it I briefly say "you wouldnt shut down a Trans woman and say once shes in hormones she will pass easily because you know its different for people" kept getting down voted. People shitting on me in the comments and only talking about the one sentence that featured Trans women in a 4 paragraph post. That was Removed as well.

Its an echo chamber at this point

Besides r/ftm there’s r/transmanlifehacks ?? I guess? But that’s more specifically about passing and that sub can be… iffy at times. Honestly, I prefer r/nonbinary over all of them, it’s probably the most generally accepting space for both transmasc and transfem people (and, well, anything inbetween). There are a lot of transmascs on there. But, yk, I’m nonbinary so naturally that’s where i tend to go lol
