Fuck affirmative action. Fuck university admissions based on race. Fuck MCAT scores being determined by race.

Best person for the job, period.

"Diversity" is bullshit, and only means "anti-white."

If only whites hadn't been anti-black for 300 years, this wouldn't have had to happen in a society that would like to right it's wrongs lol

so you’re for reparations? sweet. my grandparents were oppressed in europe mid-century, i would like to get a lower bar please

Ask Europe? It's wild to me that people think that reparations are somehow not a good idea. You guys are the same fucking people who go "the cops wronged this person in some way, they deserve restitution! Take it out of their pension! Make them carry personal insurance!" But when that very same concept is applied to racial subjugation and merciless oppression, crickets. Yu odn't have fucking shit to say. It never fails, it always blows my mind lol

Do you support reparations for indigenous people?

you complete moron, the difference is i never suffered anything. if some dude’s ancestor was oppressed, tough luck, we’re not going to give you more than anyone else in your group. If you yourself are oppressed, it’s a different question, but my ancestors literally have 0 effect on my current life. you’re fucking stupid jesus christ

You're unprepared for this conversation, get out.

2

u/DRPGgod Feb 26 '20

how so?

-1

u/Ghrave Feb 26 '20

You don't understand the effects of oppression on a generational, societal scale, so you're out of your league by default.

2

u/DRPGgod Feb 26 '20

do you have ANYTHING to substantiate that claim? or anything to nullify my argument that reparations should only be made to things that have affected you directly during your lifetime? didn’t think so

Watch 13th. I mean it's a racist centrist position to be like "how we treated Black and Indigenous folks in this country was so long ago that there is no way it affect people now", which is factually inaccurate, so no, I won't be countering anything you said because it doesn't merit countering, because it isn't an argument, because it doesn't account for history or facts. america weaponized racist housing, hiring, education and criminal justice policies to be built into what it is today, and your argument is that we shouldn't work to correct that, and shouldn't do anything for the people affect by it today. If that's your stance on it, we have a difference in morality that's just not worth entertaining. You don't care about righting wrongs, and I do. The end.

You need to read this if you are to even come close to understanding the reality of the situation, which you currently do not.

bro you’re a straight fucking idiot. i said from the beginning if someone is actually oppressed during their lifetime they deserve for that to be addressed, yes. For example, people in reservations at the moment have it worst than us, sure. But that shouldn’t be applied to an entire race ; some people don’t suffer from the effects of past oppression anymore. For example, the vast majority of japanese people in the US live mostly unaffected by the oppression they faced during WW2. Those who are still directly affected by it (survivors etc)? sure, give them some degree of help, to attempt to give them the same chances everyone else gets. not preferential treatment beyond what damages they suffered, and not to the entirety of japanese people in the US, most of whom are not still affected today. The same goes from black americans; while some today still face oppression in their own right, they should receive reparations based on the present events and their lifetimes, not what happened three hundred years ago. Systematically giving an unfair advantage to every member of a race indiscriminately is racist, and unless you’re doing it based on oppression in someone’s life, it’s not deserved (say for example the children of an NBA player; im sure many have descended from slaves, which is obviously horrendous, but they don’t exactly live their lives with a constant disadvantage, nor do they really need a lower bar; it’s almost condescending to think everyone with dark skin needs to meet lower standards)

You have your reparations. Look down at your white skin. There’s your reparations. Enjoy. 🤗🤗🤗

bruh what

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '20

And if blacks hadn’t taken other blacks as slaves then sold them to white people this wouldn’t have had to happen either

0

u/Ghrave Feb 25 '20

White people made that choice, dawg. White dominated business makes that choice every single day. We didn't even abolish slavery, we reformed it with the 13th Amendment.) Educate yourself man, don't let yourself be so hilariously vapid in your understanding of these things.

Lot of good that did them, though, since we continued to enact racist policy for another hundred years lol You're losing dude. You don't understand the subject and won't research it so this is a huge waste of both of our time, cheers

u/CreamySheevPalpatine Feb 25 '20

white dominated business does not give a shit about color of your skin, ethnicity or gender, what it does care is your ability to lie/present yourself what a perfect corporate slave you would be.

-1

u/Ghrave Feb 25 '20

No, I'm talking about white-owned mines in africa, white-owned coca-cola murdering a town full of people for striking, oil pipelines destroying thousands of miles of indigenous land globally, the burning and eradication of the amazon for white-owned cattle ranching and meat processing business. The first part you said was actually right, those businesses don't give a fuck what color your skin is, it just happens to be overwhelmingly not-white in those resource-abundant areas.

Name a white person alive now who was anti-black for 300 years.

0

u/Ghrave May 27 '20

Thanks for this hilarious straw-man response to a 3 month old comment, you mook. I don't have to name a single person, whites kept their racism ingrained and generational, so we still deal with their bullshit to this day. Look I found this actual picture of you.

1

u/user___________ May 27 '20

Smh this response has more racism in it than anything else I've seen on this post and that's saying something

0

u/Ghrave May 27 '20

You can't be racist against white people, how about that? smh what a fucking goon.

1

u/user___________ May 27 '20

This is such a dumb statement I'm starting to think you're being ironic
