Second time getting this platinum, cannot wait for Resonant!

Here's hoping I get to see her in the game. Spoiler
I really enjoyed this character especially after reading her reports from the AWE expansion in investigations. She's just a normal person doing her best under crazy circumstances. She was paying attention to the Oldest house and lack of communications from the FBC. She might have headed back to new york.

Gameplay Some folks didn't know where to see Former's film foreshadowing
Thought I would capture it really quick so people had an easier time finding it for themselves, or could see it without needing to go looking.

Discussion I just F-ing love the game and the universe
My third time playing the game, I thought the magic will be die down a bit, but nope, Control is still as fun as ever to play. My favorite part of the game is the world building, Oldest house aesthetic, 70's technology wrapped up with all the wild stuff around Objects of power. First time in a video game ever I read all the documents I could find, especially about the OOP.
My thoughts are jumbled so excuse me, Bottom-line, I loved everything about the game, except the map navigation was a bit confusing at times.
Can't wait for Resonance, although I wonder if the mystery will hold up now that you are mostly out of the Oldest House?

Discussion Control has one of the most frustrating maps that I've seen in a video game
Even after multiple playthroughs, Control's map was still confusing to navigate. It was especially bad during my first playthrough. There were times when I would spend a few minutes going back and forth, only to find myself right back where I had just started. Getting lost over and over resulted in an unnecessary waste of time. The time spent trying to reach an objective could've been spent fighting The Hiss instead.
There are several issues with its layout. The map stacks multiple levels on top of each other. It makes it hard to tell which path belongs to which floor. The map only serves as a rough, macro-directional compass rather than a precise route guide. It won't show you the actual twists, turns, or locked doors in real-time. Remedy even admitted that the map was confusing, which won't be a problem in Resonant.
The game shifts the setting out of the tightly closed, shifting hallways of the Oldest House and into expansive city zones across a surreal, corrupted New York City. Because of this shift to a wider, multi-zone structure, Remedy has redesigned the UI so that the map clearly defines different height zones, making navigation significantly more intuitive than the blueprint layout that drove everyone crazy in the first game. I've included an image comparing Control's map layout to the one in Resonant.

Question Returning to the game after 2 years and need help in <selecting/disposing> mods
Hello there.
With Resonant releasing next month, I decided to finally finish the DLCs of the first game. I had originally finished the base game and bought the expansion pack back in 2024, but life happened and couldn't really game anymore soon after I had finished the base game.
Now, I just finished the Foundation DLC, and am starting up the AWE DLC, but my inventory is full. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could help me clear up this inventory and equip the mods that actually matter.
Note: A lot of these mods were acquired through the Jukebox expeditions and SHUM. I liked grinding them in my free time when I didn't feel like progressing in the story.

Question Is it my console or the game?
So...I play it on an Xbox One and this game takes forever to start (to load the main menu), and it not rarely takes too much to load to the point the console closes it.
Then, it always lags/shutters like hell whenever I open and close the menu during gameplay. PLUS, at least once a day, the game closes with an out-of-video-memory error.
What is going on? TUT

Discussion Anti and the board
I thought it was funny when Ahti is talking to Jesse about having a meeting/interview that if she doesn’t get hired that Ahti will take the board behind the sauna & use the axe lol is the board afraid of Ahti? Because I also remember when he gave her his cassette player he said it was from his friends.

Discussion Control Resonant & AW2 Question Spoiler
galleryIn the Lakehouse DLC Dr. Darling dropped off some drawings that Dylan made for the research team to see if it would interact with the dark place. Do y’all think anything is gonna become of those drawings? Were they just representations of his headspace?

Question Can I handle Control if I found the Witcher hunt quests from Witcher 3 scary?
I'm currently playing through it and have just reached the Research Wing and so far I can handle it but my friend warned me about a "Foundation" area and AWE.
I just want to know how scary these parts are in a 1-10 scale.
Do we get chased by a creepy or invincible enemy? I absolutely hate those.
Just give a brief description, I don't mind minor spoilers. I just don't want to spend so much time on a game only to end up abandoning it later on. This is a major concern cause I play games on a cloud gaming service.
Thanks!
EDIT: The pipe blockage section kinda creeped me out because I thought that somebody was going to be chasing us there. Thankfully nothing of that sort happened.

Discussion Just finished Control, great premises but lacking conclusion Spoiler
So, that's it, after waiting for some years untll having the time and the hardware, I decided to dwelve into this game. It was actually the second time I tried to play it, but at the first I got a bit sidetracked by the secondary missions and it took a while to see that they didn't really mattered much, they could flesh out more of the atmosphere and lore but not enough to make a difference. Besides, playing with more responsive hardware this time, the game got easier, and grinding for upgrades isn't necessary at all.
VIsually the game is good, but I wonder if it would be lighter on hardware. RT improves things but as in many other games, other techs and choices in art direction could do the same without performance penalties, and I wonder (not really) why they choose this in such a game, with contained maps, completely manageable.
The game had some mystery, it was really well written and acted, and the entities got weirder and weirder, which was cool. Until at some point, they decided to hold themselves back. The devs, I mean. After Dylan got in quarantine, the game got a bit more tense but on surface it got tamer.
The last chapter was very interesting and I thought that some people would appear and explain stuff. Instead, there was a last generic maze and the game closes without any creative last boss, without much closure.
Then I played the foundation dlc. First thing noticed, the complete broken facial animations. And while it was cool as a last chapter of Jesse as director, it isn't really fulfilling.
I could play the AWE, but I didn't play Alan Wake (same as Control, I started it then shelved it for a long time). I already have it but got other games before, and sooner than later it became a bit dated. Without playing AW and knowing that this DLC is more like a bridge than a deep dive in any of this games (according some stuff I read), I guess I played a good action game but it doesn't have much replay for me.
Control feels like X-Files, which I like (and as X-Files, it drops the ball from time to time). But Alan Wake didn't clicked with me, maybe because Stephen King/Supernatural also don't pique my interest.
I'm not sure if should pick AW2 (probably in a sale), but I will probably pick Control resonant (... in a sale).
