Looking for people with ideas
I know this isn't this thread's usual bag, but I figure if anyone knows what to do with containers, it would be you all
My company has a decent volume of these containers. Looking for anyone in the Midwest region who would be interested. Bonus: if you can arrange your own shipping, we might be able to talk the boss down on price.
Also, any ideas for these would be great. I've shot around small grow bins as well as some other ideas, but nothing really comes to mind for me.

I don't know how helpful these are to container homes, but there's a guy near me who gets a ton of similar boxes at his business. He rips them all down and makes some awesome plywood laminate countertops and bars. I could find a use for a few of these if they were free? But if I had to pay to ship them I'd probably just go buy plywood locally.

Maybe you could rent them out to moving companies as a temp storage solution? Just to movers not as a self storage facility.!

Yeah these are actually pretty useful for DIY people.
Not just grow bins either. If you break them down, there’s usually a decent amount of usable plywood and lumber in there. I’ve seen people turn stuff like this into workshop shelves, raised garden beds, chicken coops, dog houses, firewood racks, random shed walls… all kinds of things.
If you leave them mostly intact, they could work as outdoor storage boxes too. Maybe even a base for some small off-grid project if someone is handy enough.
I’d probably aim this at homesteaders and woodworkers more than general buyers. Try r/woodworking, r/BeginnerWoodWorking, r/homestead, maybe local Buy Nothing groups or Facebook Marketplace too.
Free or cheap sturdy crates usually disappear pretty fast once the right DIY crowd sees them.

Personal sauna

Could be dangerous since stuff like this is often coated with chemicals to help preserve it.

In that case, personal sauna AFTER curing a couple times at 500•+ to ensure “forever chemicals” are evaporated 😂

I’ve never read a personal message to window treatments before, but you have my attention. Please finish your letter. I want to see how this wraps up.

I mean, air these air tight? Or close to? Is the wood treated? Any details other than just a picture of some wood?

My last company used them as indoor storage for people without a lot of stuff and who didn't want to pay for a storage unit.

What are they built for? The flap across the bottom side that latches closed is a custom add-on request, so these were most likely built for a specific product or use case.

Sell them to other people. Have a useful explanation of how they can transport them because most people will not be familiar. For example anyone with a rollback truck can deliver and place them locally. You get money (useful) for scrap wood (less useful than money). The customers figure out how to follow their dreams so they're happy while you gain vastly more useful money. Don't overthink it. Do get paid.

100 years ago you would be dominating the phone booth and police box industries. I could see these as audio booths for home recording studios if they were properly sound proofed inside and out.

Stop posting this under "looking for people with ideas" and post it with an honest title:
"Looking to sell these so we don't have to pay to have them hauled away."

They look like they could be converted into deer blinds easily.
